The purpose of this study is to understand how a children's village in Israel is working to secure children's basic needs. Studies of the Israeli case give increased knowledge about children's villages as out–of–home care. Through a case study, material in the form of interviews and observations has been collected. The study has an ethnographic approach and is based on the result from five semi–structured interviews with a social worker, a children's group leader, teachers and a contact person for the children's village. The material is also based on the authors' observations. The result shows that there are different approaches to secure children's basic needs in a children's village, that every profession has an important role in each method and that stability is the most important need for a child regardless of the form of care. The result also shows that a children's village in relation to other intervention is a quick way to secure children's needs in terms of housing, food and education.

The goal of the thesis was to display landscape changes and some selected socioeconomic factors in the cadastral area of the Kvilda village. The changes were expertised on the basis of the stabil cadastral map from 1837 until the present - on the basis of the air photos which were taken in 1949, 1973 and 2008. The development of the changes was observed on agricultural areas, forest areas, freeways and in build-up areas. Socioeconomic factors were selected on the basis of the possibility to make a line of the continuity. The development of the number of population and the number of houses was chosen. Information was brought out from municipal chronicles and literary resources. Reasons of changes and outputs processed in graphs are presented in the practical part of the thesis. The function of the Šumava Mountains has been changed during last 100 years. After 1950, original mountain agriculture with mainly pastoral character and extensive stock raising completed by the work in the forest industry were changed into a partly closed area with the minor tourist industry.

La logistique est une fonction majeure du système économique pour la production et pour la distribution des marchandises, elle donne naissance à une nouvelle branche industrielle. Elle est aussi un facteur clef de l'organisation spatiale, requérant une intention adéquate dans les démarches de planification. Une comparaison entre les expériences chinoises et françaises traitant des "parcs logistiques" éclaire les enjeux et les problèmes de l'insertion de la logistique dans l'aménagement urbain et régional. Logistics is also a key factor of spatial functioning and organization, requiring an adequate attention and priority in planning. A comparison of Chinese and French experiences dealing with "freight villages" throws light on the major stakes and questions of introducing logistics into urban and regional planning agenda. This thesis tries to take stock of experiences of ways to take into account logistics and his characteristics in urban and regional planning

The aim of the thesis was the reconstruction of vanished subrecent settlement in the surroundings of Ktiš, as a consequence of the expulsion of German population after 1946, having focused its attention on three former villages Křížovice, Ktiška and Ostrá Hora. It was monitored the archaeological transformation at this area from 1946 until nowadays and its evaluation.
