The theme of this diploma thesis is financial analysis of the company PRO-BIO, s.r.o. between years 2009 and 2012 on the basis of published information. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the information given in the financial statements. The following part is the financial analysis of the chosen enterprise with the application of horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio indicators and complex indicators of financial health. Within the evaluation of the financial position of the enterprise, an intercompany comparison with competitive company is carried out.

This diploma thesis is concerned with the financial analysis of the company Třinecké železárny operating in the region Třinec in Czech Republic.. The analysis is based on annual reports of mentioned company over the past 5 years, from 20010 to 2014. The theoretical part deals with the description of the financial analysis and the methods. There is an introduction of the company in the application part, the analysis of business and the financial analysis, namely vertical and horizontal analysis, financial ratios and solvency or bankruptcy models. Results of the financial analysis and their time progress are subsequently commented and compared with the results of the financial analysis of metallurgical and engineering firms according to the results of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

The subject of this thesis is a financial analysis of the company RSNET Ltd. for the period of 2011 to 2015 and a subsequent comparison of its results with selected companies of the telecommunication market. The theoretical part is devoted to the characterization of financial analysis itself, its users, sources of information and methods. The practical part includes the description of the selected company and a subsequent application of theoretical knowledge on its financial statements. The second half of the practical part is focused on the comparison of the results obtained by the company with the other two companies. The aim of the conclusion will be to evaluate the results and acquired findings.
