The aim of this work is to create complex virtual model of electromagnetic vibration generator. This model will include mechanical and electromagnetic subsystem and also the model of output circuit. Created model will be implemented in Matlab/Simulink enviroment and model parameters will be identified so that the compare of simulation and real results will be acceptable.

A marcha humana, ou caminhada, é um padrão cíclico de movimentos corporais que se repetem a cada passo que desloca um indivíduo de um local a outro. Atualmente, avaliações biomecânicas da marcha humana tem sido utilizado no diagnóstico de alterações neuromusculares, músculo-esqueléticas e como forma de avaliação pré e pós-tratamento cirúrgico, medicamentoso e/ou fisioterapêutico. O presente trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de uma ferramenta acadêmica de baixo custo para o estudo da marcha humana. Esse sistema consiste no sensoriamento da marcha de um usuário através de sensores inerciais e de um modelo virtual do corpo humano para permitir a visualização do movimento gerado. Dessa maneira o usuário poderá ter suas ações corrigidas por sua percepção visual e também corrigida pelas orientações de um fisiatra ou fisioterapeuta que terá a reprodução do modelo virtual conforme a movimentação detalhada do paciente para análise. O sistema ainda efetuará os registros das variáveis cinemáticas da marcha (tais como aceleração, velocidade angular, angulações dos membros sensoriados) para estudos e acompanhamento mais detalhado da sua recuperação e/ou tratamento. Como resultado, o sistema desenvolvido obteve erros médios de X 0,52º Y 1,20º Z 1,80º e erros em RMS de X 3,01º Y 3,30º Z 5,70º quando comparados com um sistema comercial, sendo esse resultado próximo à literatura e aplicável em exames biomecânicos de marcha. / The human gait is a cyclical pattern of body movements that are repeated every step that moves a subject from one location to another. Currently, biomechanical assessments of human gait has been used for diagnosing neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal and as a way of pre and post-surgical treatment, medication and/or physical therapy. This paper presents the development of a low cost academic tool for the study of human gait. This system consists of sensing the motion of a user through inertial sensors and a virtual model of the human body to allow the visualization of the generated movement. In this way, the user can have its actions corrected by his visual perception and also corrected by therapist or physiotherapist who will visualize the virtual model as the detailed movements of patient. The system will also record the kinematic gait variables (as acceleration, angular velocity, angles of the sensed members) for studies and more detailed monitoring of their recovery and/or treatment. As result, the developed system obtained average errors of X 0,52º Y 1,20º Z 1,80º and errors in RMS X 3,01º Y 3,30º Z 5,70º compared to a commercial system, and these results close to the ones seen in literature and applicable in biomechanical tests of gait.

Multi-View Reconstruction and Camera Recovery using a Real or Virtual Reference Plane

Reconstructing a 3-dimensional scene from a set of2-dimensional images is a fundamental problem in computervision. A system capable of performing this task can be used inmany applications in robotics, architecture, archaeology,biometrics, human computer interaction and the movie andentertainment industry. Most existing reconstruction approaches exploit one sourceof information to tackle the problem. This is the motion of thecamera, the 2D images are taken from different viewpoints. Weexploit an additional information source, the reference plane,which makes it possible to reconstruct difficult scenes whereother methods fail. A real scene plane may serve as thereference plane. Furthermore, there are many alternativetechniques to obtain virtual reference planes. For instance,orthogonal directions in the scene provide a virtual referenceplane, the plane at infinity, or images taken with a parallelprojection camera. A collection of known and novel referenceplane scenarios is presented in this thesis. The main contribution of the thesis is a novel multi-viewreconstruction approach using a reference plane. The techniqueis applicable to three different feature types, points, linesand planes. The novelty of our approach is that all cameras andall features (off the reference plane) are reconstructedsimultaneously from a single linear system of imagemeasurements. It is based on the novel observation that camerasand features have a linear relationship if a reference plane isknown. In the absence of a reference plane, this relationshipis non-linear. Thus many previousmethods must reconstructfeatures and cameras sequentially. Another class of methods,popular in the literature, is factorization, but, in contrastto our approach, this has the serious practical drawback thatall features are required to be visible in all views. Extensiveexperiments show that our approach is superior to allpreviously suggested reference plane and non-reference planemethods for difficult reference plane scenarios. Furthermore, the thesis studies scenes which do not have aunique reconstruction, so-called critical configurations. It isproven that in the presence of a reference plane the set ofcritical configurations is small. Finally, the thesis introduces a complete, automaticmulti-view reconstruction system based on the reference planeapproach. The input data is a set of images and the output a 3Dpoint reconstruction together with the correspondingcameras.

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a virtual model of a robotic workplace. Robot and robotic workplaces are researched. Further, the design and safety phases of these workplaces are discussed. A conceptual model of the robotic workplace with robot IRB 4400/60 is designed, which is placed in the machine laboratory C1 of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The virtual model is created in Process Simulate 13.0. It is designed to manipulate the dice, weld and operate the vertical machine tool.

A Hybrid Virtual Model within Business Law firms : A qualitative study into the adaptation of a combination between in office work and telecommuting

Telecommuting, or working away from the office, has during the covid-19 pandemic proved both challenging and advantageous. The new prerequisites and lessons learned has led companies to adopt Hybrid Virtual Models (HVM), a combination between in office work and telecommuting. The purpose of this study has been to analyze this new way of working in order to provide practitioners with important insight into the implications and possibilities with HVM. The theoretical contribution consists of broadening scarce theoretical coverage by highlighting important aspects for its implementation and usage. Empirical data has been gathered using an abductive method and indicates that voluntary HVM leads to increased organizational performance in terms of less sick days and increased employer attractiveness as a result of being highly desired. Concluded in the study is that a balance between office work and flexible telecommuting is the best way to organize to meet the demands of the future. / Pandemin flyttade mycket av verksamheten från kontoret till anställdas hem. I takt med att restriktionerna lättas ställs företagen inför frågan hur de ska organisera sig givet de nya förutsättningarna. Distansarbete har visat vara både utmanande och fördelaktigt. Detta har lett till att företagen infört virtuella hybridmodeller (HVM). En kombination av arbete på kontoret och på distans. Studiens syfte har varit att analysera detta nya sätt att arbeta för att ge branschverksamma viktiga insikter om konsekvenser och möjligheter med hybridorganisering. Det teoretiska bidraget breddar det tidigare knapphändiga teoretiska underlaget genom att belysa aspekter för hybridarbetets genomförande och användning. Empirisk data har samlats in genom en abduktiv metod och visar att HVM tenderar att öka prestation på grund av färre sjukdagar och image av att vara en attraktiv arbetsgivare. Studien kommer fram till att en balans mellan kontorsarbete och distansarbete är det bästa sättet att organisera sig för att möta framtidens krav

A Modelagem da Informação da Construção (Building Information Modeling - BIM) veio ajudar a modernizar a indústria da construção civil. No Brasil, com a instabilidade do mercado AEC (Arquitetura, Engenharia e Construção), o BIM se torna um diferencial para as empresas que optam por este processo. São várias as opções de uso para construtoras e sua abrangência corre por todo o ciclo de vida da edificação. Através de revisão bibliográfica e estudo de caso dentro de uma construtora, o presente trabalho visa mostrar as possíveis aplicações do BIM dentro do canteiro de obras, identificando as barreiras para sua aplicação plena. A partir do material de estudo levantado e de survey aplicada a funcionários da construtora estudada, são realizadas propostas de uso da Modelagem da Informação da Construção durante a fase de execução do empreendimento, ou seja, durante a obra. Apesar de serem propostas baseadas em casos de uma empresa de porte e bem situada no mercado, procurou-se generalizar de forma a que distintas construtoras possam se identificar e tirar o máximo proveito dos estudos e conclusões aqui apresentados. / The Building Information Modeling (BIM) is helping to modernize the construction industry. In Brazil, faced with AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) market instability, BIM becomes a differential for companies that opt for this process. There are several construction options for builders and their use throughout the lifecycle of the building. Through a bibliographic review and case study within a construction company, the present research aims to show the possible applications of BIM in construction site, identifying the barriers for its full implantation. From the study material collected and survey applied to employees of the construction company studied, proposals are made to use the Building Information Modeling during the execution phase of the project, that is, during the construction. In spite of being proposals based on cases of a company of size and well placed in the market, it was tried to generalize so that different constructors can identify and take full advantage of the studies and conclusions presented here.
