Utvärdering av ModFix : Byggnation av modulära fixturer integrerat i Process Simulate / Verification of ModFix : Creation of modular fixtures integrated in Process Simulate

Syftet med detta projekt är att utvärdera ModFix som verktyg och arbetsmetoden för att skaps fixturer med ModFix. ModFix är ett verktyg som är integrerad i Siemens simuleringsmiljön Process Simulate och används för att skapa modulära fixturer. Målsättningen med arbetsmetoden där fixturer skapas med ModFix är att ledtiden och mantimmarna för att skapa fixturer ska reduceras med 50 % i jämförelse med Volvo Cars nuvarande arbetsmetod där fixturer skapas med Catia V5. ModFix-verktyget består av tre funktioner. Dessa funktioner är; Configuration Administrator, Fixture Designer och Modular Fixture Mapping Report. Configuration Administrator är ModFix´s administrationsverktyg och används för att skapa de fixturbaser och fixturkonfigurationer som senare används för att skapa modulära fixturer med Fixture Designer. Fixture Designer används för att skapa kompletta modulära fixturer. Modular Fixture Mapping Report är den funktion som används för att generera en rapport som specificerar mappningen mellan de fixturenheterna och de referenspunkter (PLPs/”frames”) där produkten fixeras. Fördelarna med arbetsmetoden där fixturer skapas med ModFix i jämförelse med den nuvarande arbetsmetoden är bland annat att fixturen hela tiden befinner sig i samma utvecklingsmiljö och den extra frihetsgraden att roboten simuleras parallellt med att fixturen skapas för att kunna undvika kollisioner. Även att ModFix automatiskt ger förslag på fixturkonfigurationslösningar för att fästa fixturelementen mot fixturbasen och att fixturer som skapas med ModFix är moduluppbyggda av standardkomponenter är två andra fördelar med arbets­metoden där fixturer skapas med ModFix jämfört med då fixturer skapas med den nuvarande arbetsmetoden. Resultatet av detta projekt visar att ModFix kan reducera mantimmarna betydligt mer än 50 % för att skapa fixturer jämfört med att skapa fixturer med den nuvarande arbetsmetoden. Ledtiden för att skapa fixturer med ModFix reduceras ännu mer än mantimmarna jämfört med då fixturer skapas med den nuvarande arbetsmetoden där fixturer skapas med Catia V5. / The aim of this project is to evaluate ModFix and its work method used to create fixtures with ModFix. The lead-time can be reduced even more than the man-time when using ModFix to create fixtures in comparison with the current work method.

La conservation des informations dans les industries dont le processus de transformation est divergent à toujours posé d'important contraintes, et l'industrie du bois n'y manque pas. Les solutions de traçabilité existantes à l'heure actuelle ne permettent pas de conserver ces informations tout au long du cycle de vie du produit bois. L'objectif de cette thèse est de montrer la faisabilité de deux concepts permettant d'améliorer la conservation de l'information : le paradigme de matière communicante et le paradigme de Virtual Manufacturing. Avec le premier paradigme, il est possible de conserver les informations relatives à l'origine du produit grâce à un marquage chimique introduit dans l'ensemble de la matière que nous identifions par Résonance Quadrupolaire Nucléaire. Dans le deuxième paradigme pour anticipons les caractéristiques biométriques des produits finaux en numérisant la matière et en virtualisant les opérations de transformation. Grâce à cela, il est possible de déterminer, malgré l'imperfection des données et des décisions les caractéristiques des produits / Information conservation in the divergent process has always imposed important constraints. In the Wood industry, in which the problem is present, has no solution to conserve information all along the wood life cycle. This thesis goal is to validate the use of two new paradigms allowing improving the information conservation: the communicating material and the virtual manufacturing. With the first one, the wood material is intrinsically marked with chemical product which can be identify with the Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance and allow conserving the material origin. With the second one, it is possible to anticipate sawmill production by foresee the final product characteristics

<p>U doktorskoj disertaciji su predstavljeni modeli za planiranje i upravljanje proizvodnim sistemom organizovanim putem virtuelnih proizvodnih ćelija. U modelima su razvijeni postupci određivanja dužine planskog perioda i broja faza obrade ili montaže. U modelima je razvijen postupak kreiranja virtuelnih proizvodnih ćelija imajući u vidu zahteve planskog i upravljačkog sistema. Modeli omogućuju rekonfiguraciju ćelija usled analize opterećenja tehnoloških sistema i mogućnosti realizacije terminskih planova proizvodnje. Modeli su ispitani na primerima dva proizvodna preduzeća sa teritorije Republike Srbije.</p> / <p>Doctoral dissertation presents models for production planning and control of<br />virtual manufacturing cells. Models present developed procedure for the<br />determination of the production planning period and the number of<br />processing or assembly stages. Descreve as principais características de formatos neutros de dados e núcleos de modelagem de sistemas. Aborda a viabilidade na padronização dos requisitos de informação e representação de dados, de maneira a selecionar uma relação de formatos neutros para a troca de dados compatíveis para uma variedade de sistemas da manufatura virtual. Relata os principais esforços no desenvolvimento de formatos neutros para a melhoria da interoperabilidade de dados. / This paper presents an interoperability requirement analysis of the product and process development chain for automotive and off-road vehicle factories for a virtual manufacturing implementation. All information was collected from articles, technical magazines, internet, books, and discussion with specialists. A description is given of major features of neutral data formats and system modeling kernels. Also provided is an analysis of the feasibility of standardizing the informational needs of virtual manufacturing systems. Finally a representation of input data is presented in order to select neutral data formats suitable for a variety of virtual Manufacturing systems. The paper concludes by reporting the major worldwide efforts on developing neutral data standards to improve interoperability.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo o desenvolvimento de um procedimento para a implementação de um protótipo de um torno CNC utilizando realidade virtual. Enfocando principalmente, seu sistema de intertravamento (funcionalidade) e seu modelo geométrico (design físico). Este trabalho se inicia com uma revisão sobre o emprego da realidade virtual em várias áreas inclusive na indústria, e posteriormente discorre sucintamente sobre a estrutura de programação e a justificativa da utilização da ferramenta de construção de ambientes virtuais utilizada no projeto. Em seguida enfoca as especificações do torno CNC virtual e do intertravamento proposto, inclusive com explicações dos passos utilizados para a obtenção da lógica funcional do torno. Adiante é exposto o procedimento adotado para a implementação do protótipo do torno virtual e quais foram os passos utilizados para o desenvolvimento do modelo gráfico incluindo as soluções encontradas para implementação das características deste modelo interativo. Por fim o trabalho apresenta um breve relato sobre a possibilidade do projeto ser empregado nas áreas de prototipação virtual, treinamento e markenting de produtos, e também sugere um roteiro para desenvolvimento de uma máquina-ferramenta utilizando a prototipação virtual. / The aim of this work is the developing of a procedure for the implementation of a CNC lathe prototype using virtual reality, focusing mainly in its interlocking system (functionality) and its geometrical model (physical design). Thereafter it focus the virtual CNC lathing machine’s specifications and the proposed interlocking, with explanations for the steps used in the obtaining of the machine’s functional logic. Later on, are exposed the chosen procedure for the implementation of the virtual machine prototype and which were the steps used for the developing of the graphical model including the found solutions for the implementation of this interactive model. Finally, the work presents a brief report about the possibility of using this project in the virtual prototyping, training and product marketing areas, and also suggests a procedure for the development of a machine tool using virtual prototyping.
