A documentação teve dois focos, por um lado auxiliar no desenvolvimento do Projeto Tecer, por outro criar uma obra áudio-visual capaz de modificar a imagem das crianças autistas perante a sociedade. A pesquisa, que envolve um estudo sobre os filmes "O homem com uma Câmera", de Dziga Vertov, "Nanook of the North", de Robert J. Flaherty, e "Crônica de um Verão" de Jean Rouch e Edgard Morin, procura identificar aspectos artísticos do fazer cinematográfico documentário. Trata-se de filmes que trazem uma elaboração poética da linguagem cinematográfica, e, mesmo sendo considerados documentários, absorveram métodos e técnicas típicas do cinema ficcional. Tradicionalmente, o filme documentário explora uma relação com a realidade. O desenvolvimento da linguagem documentária possibilitou que essa relação ficasse cada vez mais clara na obra, ao ponto de o próprio cineasta aparecer na tela, como ocorre em "Crônica de um Verão", evidenciando que o cineasta se modifica e modifica o objeto que retrata na medida em que realiza a obra. Tendo consciência da história e dos métodos de produção áudio-visual o presente trabalho apresenta o filme "Entre nós", que é o resultado da documentação de cinco anos do Projeto Tecer. Um vídeo-documentário que procura reconstruir a experiência de conviver com crianças autistas de acordo com o olhar do documentalista. / Abstract: Starting from the video-documentation of the Tecer Project, a living along experience with autistic called children, the present work makes a research about the history of the cinema and the art, searching for possible approaches between documentary films and artworks. The documentation had two focuses, to assist the development of the Tecer Project, and to create a film capable of modifying the image of the autistic children in the society. The research, that involves a study on the films "The Man with the Movie Camera", from Dziga Vertov, "Nanook of the North", from Robert J. Flaherty, and "Chronicle of a Summer" from Jean Rouch and Edgard Morin, tries to identify artistic aspects of the making of cinematographic documentaries. These are films witch bring a poetical elaboration of the cinematographic language, and, even being considered documentaries, they absorbed methods and typical techniques of the fictional cinema. Traditionally, the documentary film explores a relation with the reality. The development of the documentary language made possible that this relation could be clearer in the artwork, to the point of proper film maker to appear in the screen, as occurs in "Chronicle of a Summer", evidencing that the film maker modifies himself, and modifies the object that he shoots, while filming it. Having conscience of the history and methods of audio-visual production, the present work presents the film "Entre Nós", witch is the result of a five year documentation of the Tecer Project. A video-documentary that reconstructs the experience of living along with autistic children, according to the vision of the documentary film maker. / Mestre

This exegesis explores the notions of production process paradigm shift through the analysis of digital technologies and their effect on the production of 'CruelUnusual'. Chapter one of this exegesis has introduced the research question with appropriate methodologies to explore the rhizomic possibilities of the use of new digital technology (DV, WWW & DVD) through the design of new structures and frameworks for audio-visual production. Chapter two will outline the traditional production process from the first steps of the pre-production phase, through to the shooting and editing of the film, to its final delivery on the screen. Chapter three will outline various new technologies to be explored and evaluated to assess their benefits to filmmakers in the creation of new production process paradigms. Chapter four of this exegesis presents an evaluation of the Rhizomic Production Process as a viable alternative to the traditional linear produc-tion process. The research data created during the production of the creative project is offered to sup-port arguments presented regarding the benefits of the Rhizomic Production Process. Chapter five will discuss the conclusions and implications discovered during the evalua-tion of the Rhizomic Production Process through the production of the creative project and suggest further possible directions.

Audio-visual work and audio-visually used works and performances Abstract The aim of the diploma thesis on Audio-visual work and audio-visually used works and performances is to provide an overview of key concepts of the Czech audiovisual legislation. The thesis mainly focuses on private-law aspects of copyright, but it also touches upon the subject of public regulation in the field of public support of audio-visual sector, regulation of advertising and media, or liability for administrative and criminal offences committed by infringement of the relevant intellectual property rights. Emphasis is placed on the intellectual property related to the creation of audio-visual work as a subject matter of copyright protection and on the entities and individuals that participate in the creation and production of audio-visual work. The first part of the thesis covers basic copyright concepts of the Czech legal system and sources of law relevant to the audio-visual sector, and it briefly mentions the legal instrument of collective rights management in the Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis covers the main topic of this work. Lean has been adapted by various industries and applied to differing processes in the world as a means of improvement and competitiveness. In the implementation of Lean, the focus is usually on eliminating the 7 + 1 wastes (Muda) through continuous improvement. In most previous cases, the result of the implemented continuous improvement has been far from successful, and further resulted in the 9th waste also named as, "Improvements in vain" or "Wasted improvements". One of the important tools for supporting implementation of Lean and continuous improvement is daily production meetings and visual management. In manufacturing companies these tools are common for facilitating the surfacing of the problems in production, identify the root causes and develop solutions for them. As other Lean tools, daily production meetings and visual management should be customised to the needs and requirements of different industries and companies to avoid the 9th waste. Small manufacturing companies with high variety and low-volume production, has their own challenges, needs and requirements. Therefore, the aim of this thesis project is to describe how visual control boards can be adapted to the needs and requirements of a small manufacturing company with low volume and high variety to facilitate the challenges of communication and coordination of daily work and continuous improvement. The project was conducted primarily in a Swedish small company named Ztift AB, which produces locks and security solutions with high range of variety of products and low production volumes (HVLV). To achieve the objective of the project, initially, the literature of the related area was reviewed, two other manufacturing companies were studied and two experts were consulted. In addition, Ztift was studied through observation and interviews. Based on the outcomes of the study, two solutions were developed and implemented to meet the requirements and needs of Ztift as well as its maturity level in Lean implementation. The solutions were visual production boards for continuous improvement and daily operations. The solutions were followed and improved continuously during four weeks after implementation. Finally, a meeting at Ztift was made to explore the outcomes of the implemented solutions. / Lean har anpassats av varierande branscher och tillämpas på skiljaktiga processer i hela världen som ett medel för förbättringar och konkurrenskraft. I genomförandet av Lean ligger fokus vanligen på att eliminera 7 + 1 slöserier (Muda) genom ständiga förbättringar. I flertalet tidigare fall har resultatet av implementerade ständiga förbättringar varit långt ifrån framgångsrika och vidare resulterat i det 9:e slöseriet som benämns som "förbättringar i onödan" eller "bortkastade förbättringar". Dagliga produktionsmöten och visuell ledning med styrtavlor som hjälpmedel är ett av de viktigaste verktygen inom Lean. I tillverkningsföretag underlättar verktygen att föra upp problem till ytan, identifiera rotorsakerna och utveckla lösningar för dem. Likt andra Lean verktyg bör dagliga produktionsmöten och visuell ledning anpassas till de behov och krav i olika branscher och företag för att undvika det 9:e slöseriet. Små tillverkningsföretag med hög variation och låg volym (HVLV) har specifika utmaningar, behov och krav. Således är syftet med detta examensarbete att beskriva hur visuella styrtavlor anpassas till ställda behov och krav i ett litet tillverkande HVLV företag för att underlätta utmaningar som kommunikation och samordning av det dagliga arbetet och ständiga förbättringar. Projektet genomfördes i Ztift AB, ett litet svenskt företag som tillverkar lås och säkerhetslösningar med HVLV. För att uppnå examensarbetets mål granskades inledningsvis litteratur inom tillhörande område, två andra tillverkande företag studerades samt två experter gav rådgivning. Därtill har Ztift kartlagts genom observationer och intervjuer. Två lösningar utvecklades för att uppfylla identifierade krav och behov hos Ztift samt deras mognadsgrad av Lean. Lösningarna bestod av två visuella styrtavlor för ständiga förbättringar och daglig styrning. Lösningarna uppföljdes och förbättrades kontinuerligt under fyra veckors tid efter implementering. Slutligen genomfördes ett återbesök hos företaget för att undersöka de implementerade lösningarna.
