KOCANDOVÁ, Jana January 2009 (has links)
In the first part of the thesis I address the theoretical basis of the issue of social work, lifelong learning, the burnout syndrome and the ethical code of a social worker. Of health social worker help the others who face a problematic situation. They help people in order to enable them to exist and function in interaction with their social environment at a socially appreciated level. In the practical part of the thesis, the objective of the research that I set myself was to ascertain whether the health social workers have the competences to exercise their profession and what techniques they use to prevent the burnout syndrome. I decided for a written anonymous questionnaire to collect the data. The research was conducted in health and social facilities in 8 regions of the Czech Republic. 160 questionnaires were distributed altogether. The total research set consisted of 106 respondents. I examined two hypotheses. The first one was: A majority of health social workers does not have sufficient education to exercise the profession. The second one was: Of health social workers realize the risks of the burnout syndrome.

Jak sociální pracovníci pracují s teoriemi sociální práce / How do social workers work with the theories of social work

MYŠÁKOVÁ, Hana January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis is dealing with social work theories and their usage in practice of social workers. Theoretical part describes their historical evolution until actual crisis of social work. Afterwards it is aimed on specific model, task centred approach. This approach has in Czech environment exceptional position, because it shows parallels with Act on social services and Standards of social services quality. Conclusion of theoretical part is dedicated to relationship between how social workers use in their practice social work theories and how this state is reflected in their professionality. Practical part is processed in form of qualitative research in which ten social workers took part. Through half structured interview were mapped if and which way social workers are using in their practice social work theories, and their experiences with task centred approach. Results of research, which are more closely elaborated within final discussion showed suppressed importance of theories. Social workers usually in their practice are not using specific theory (nor task centred approach), but they more rely on "their own theories" or internal rules of organization where they work.

The profession of social work is treated in participating in the process of production and reproduction of the entire social life, thus participating social workers, the very process of (re) production of social relations, hence the social significance of this profession. As the real work of worker social is mediated and is conformed to the terms of abstract work, we seek to seize and examine the working professional with a view to the fundamental mediation, inspiring us to do that, the productions of Marilda Villela Iamamoto. Everyday life is understood by all the key activities that characterize the (re) production of men, therefore, as an ontological category, treated here by the social ontology of Marx. In this sense, our reflections on everyday life are based on the production of Hungarian philosophers, György Lukács and Agnes Heller, that, in his Marxist phase. The key activities that mark the (re) production of everyday life of the social subjects of this research are work and motherhood. Otherwise, the contents of the actual work of social workers focus on these same activities as, seek professional answers the needs of survival, with privileged access to such training to the domestic sphere of social life of the individuals with whom they work. In this sense, the premise of the research is the vital relationship between the work of social worker and everyday life in these subjects. We interviewed three social workers and two women who were and / or are served by social workers; we conducted three interviews with each of the interviewees. The research process revealed that the social worker participates in the process of (re) production of social relations through participation in the process of (re) production of everyday life of these subjects / Essa pesquisa procura discutir o trabalho do assistente social e a vida cotidiana dos sujeitos sociais com os quais trabalha.
