Školní nábytek ve vztahu k problematice vadného držení těla u žáků 1. a 2. tříd ZŠ v Českých Budějovicích / School furniture in relation to the issue of poor posture of pupils in 1st and 2nd school classes in České Budějovice

SEDLÁČKOVÁ, Pavlína January 2012 (has links)
School furniture is one of the risk factors contributing to the formation and development of poor posture. I paid attention to pupils of the first and second years of primary school, because they present a high-risk group due to the sudden passage from a spontaneous physical activity to a long-term static strain at school. The aim of the study was to map the suitability of ergonomic parameters of school furniture for pupils of the first and second years of primary school and to assess its influence on the development of poor posture. I focused on the chair height, the seat depth, the backrest and the worktop height and angle. I also wanted to examine teachers' awareness on the issue of school furniture, the proper seating posture and possibilities to compensate the static strain of children. The research group consisted of 146 pupils of the first and second years of randomly selected primary schools in České Budějovice. The theoretical part was elaborated by the document content analysis, the research was done in three steps. First, the quantitative interview method through questionnaires distributed to the parents of respondents was used. This was followed by investigations in classes and the last step was to answer additional questions to teachers and the school management. The results show that 88% of respondents use ergonomically unsuitable furniture, there is a greater incidence of negative findings in the furniture of the first year pupils in all investigated parameters, except low chairs and worktops, but these are only present in inconsiderable numbers. A significant association was found between sub-standard school furniture and pains in the back, head, arms and legs, leading to the formation and development of poor posture. Teachers´ awareness of this issue is good, but in my opinion it is inadequate in terms prevention. Early preventive measures can affect the condition of the movement apparatus in adulthood. Family and school should be the first involved. But an equally important role should be played by pediatricians and professionals in the public health protection, who should act not only as an inspection, but mainly as an advisory body. Therefore, it is important to increase the awareness of the general public and teachers on work chair and desk ergonomics, the proper seating posture and possibilities for a long-term static strain compensation.

ČELIKOVSKÝ, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this graduation thesis is to find out the level of fine and gross motoric skills amongst children of younger school age in a selected elementary school. In total, we tested 44 children (21 boys and 23 girls) from the 1st to 4th grade from the age of 7 to 10 in January 2018. The level of their motoric skills was measured by a standardized Movement Assessment Battery for Children Second Edition, which includes 8 motor tests suitable for both genders. We compared boys and girls with each other in components and test tasks. The total test results have shown that 100% of children have no motor problems (1st range). In spite of that, there were individuals who fell into the 2nd range (risk of motor problems) in components of manual skills, aiming & catching or 3rd band (major motor problems). Research has convinced us that the fine and gross motor skills of most tested children are at a very good standard.

Povědomí žáků 1. a 2. tříd 1. stupně základních škol o etologii psů / Students of 1st and 2nd class of basic school - awareness of dog ethology.

PETŘÍKOVÁ, Šárka January 2011 (has links)
ABSTRACT Nowadays, more and more often we hear about children who are attacked by dogs. The media constantly inform us about fighting breeds and their attacks on humans. Number of dogs in the household significantly increases and posibility of injury of the child by our four-legged partner is increasing too. This situation requires a solution. Media accused of assaulting an animal, unfortunately very often the culprit is not even a dog or child. Thesis on ?The awareness of pupils of first and second class ofthe first level of basic schools on the ethology of dogs ? is based on the author's practical experience with objective reality. The author herself, which is devoted to dogs more than 15 years, also tried to capture the degree of knowledge of school age children on the natural behavior of our four-legged domestic ?pets?. Through her own research, conducted by standardized questionnaires at selected basic schools in the South Bohemia region (in total 284 respondents) reveals the primary mistakes committed by these children in contact with their own or strange dog. The theoretical part is devoted to common cohabitation of children (or people) and dogs. Various chapters are focused on the historical evolution of domestic dog, the coexistence of humans and dogs, and communication sinals, which they use to interact among themselvest, but also on the impact of a dog on the psyche of the child. The research revealed significant gaps in knowledge regarding children's innate behavior of the dog. For this reason children can not adequately respond to a signal that is sent by a dog, so there can arise a hazardous situation between them. At the end of thesis the author proposes a practical solution that could serve as a basic for a new educational program aimed at preventiv injuries caused by dogs attack the children.

Březinová, Markéta January 2017 (has links)
The goal of the thesis is to determine the level of motoric abilities of the children in primary school age (years of birth 2006 and 2007) who do the selected sports games such handball, football, volleyball and basketball. I tested the level of motoric abilities using the test battery Unifittest (6 - 60) what is suitable tool for testing. The testing was carried out in six sports clubs in the Central Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region. I compared the level of motoric abilities of the children in primary school age doing the sports with standard population and subsequently made a comparison between selected sports. The other task was also to determine whether the structure of sport performance of selected sports will influence the level of motoric abilities of the children in primary school age. The research-oriented part proves that there is no significant difference in average results. The testing showed that handball and basketball players have the highest levels of motoric abilities. The research also showed that the sportsmen in primary school age have the worst results in the tests focused on physical condition of players. KEYWORDS younger school-age children, motoric abilities, handball, fotball, voleyball, basketball, Unifittest (6-60)
