For that, discusses themes such as the limits of the science on the task of reality rebuilder, the frontiers and interactions between humans and animals, particularly those influenced by beyond the zoos, spaces in our societies that provides a direct contact with wild species. This study has as empirical objects the Parque da Funda??o Zoobot?nica do Rio Grande do Sul, located in Sapucaia do Sul/RS, 25 kilometers from Porto Alegre/RS, and the GramadoZoo, in Gramado/RS, 115 kilometers from the capital. This research, of qualitative character, uses ethnography-based methods, beyond the semi-structured interview and the documental analysis. The presented argumentation subsidies the idea that the animals, such as pets and, in certain ways, the zoo‟s wild animals, acquire nowadays the status of a being similar to us, often representing, in the urban contexts, a conception of good and beautiful nature.
