Polyfunkční dům v Bruntále / Mixed-use building in Bruntál

Ondrušková, Veronika January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with design documentation of New mixed-use building in Bruntál. The building is located in the centre of the Bruntál on the plot number 83/1. Regulatory plan defines this plot for construction. It is marked as SC – mixed-use residental plot. The building contains the main conditions of use – living, shopping, restaurant and administration. The building has 3 above-ground floors and 1 basement. At ground floor there is café and shop. At first floor there are offices and conference room. At second floor there are flats. In basement there is utility room, cellars, garage and storages. The café and shop is separated and has its own entrances. Horizontal and vertical load-bearing and non-load bearing structures are bulit of permanent formwork VELOX – perimeter load-bearing walls are sandwiches, internal load-bearing walls are of cast-in-place reinforced concrete, which is covered by permanent formwork. Non-load bearing walls are bulit of 2 boards of permanent formwork with inserted acoustic insulation. Vertical load-bearing structures are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete, which is covered by permanent formwork. The building has concrete foundation strips and cast-in-place reinforced concrete stairs. The roof has got classical order of layers.

Systém pro určování nadzemní výšky letajících objektů / System for Identifying Above Ground Level of Flying Objects

Boba, Peter January 2016 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with design and development of a system for measuring altitude (height above ground level) of flying objects. It describes theoretical background related to altitude measurements in avionics as well as various techniques of altitude measuring. The measurement is conducted by HMD (Height measuring device) - embedded system which uses barometric pressure sensor to measure altitude. The main part of this thesis is dedicated to ground unit - a server running custom set of applications. Using this server and radio link, it is possible to send control commands to HMD, receive data, and propagate data into web application. Furthermore server acts as a data storage and is able to process and analyse data. The thesis also discusses the precision of the measurement and the data output. System was tested and used during several glider aerobatics competitions.

Hotel / Hotel

Belatka, Martin January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis solves a hotel in Třebíč, street Svabinského. The hotel is designed as four-storey, building with a basement, with warm flat roof over the fourth floor and terrace on the fourth floor. The hotel has 20 rooms with a total capacity of 44 persons. In the hotel is a restaurant for guests hotel. External walls in basement are made of concrete blocks. External walls in above-ground floors are made of brick blocks Heluz with external thermal insulation. Plot is planar. Part of the design is thermal assessment, accustic assessment and fire safery assessment.

Mateřská škola / Kindergarten

Medová, Jana Unknown Date (has links)
The main aim of the thesis is to design a Kindergarten. It is situated on the west outskirt of the Havlíčkův Brod on the plot no. 653/1 in the cadastral area Havlíčkův Brod. The plot is sloped to the south. The building has two above-ground floors. The ground floor is cross shaped, and we can consist of it on four parts. Three are classrooms with locker room, sanitary facilities for children and bed storeroom. The last part is technical facilities (storerooms, halls, utility room, control room and room for serving food). On the first floor there are offices for teachers, staff room, director’s room, and locker room for employees (cooks, cleaners). Food will be imported to kindergarten. My project is designed like a masonry wall system from sand-lime blocks Silka. Non-load bearing walls are from aerated concrete blocks Ytong. Floor structures are designed as pre-stressed concrete panels. Roof above the ground floor is flat intensive green roof and roof above the first ground floor is flat extensive green roof. The building is heated by two gas boilers in the utility room and and the whole is forcibly ventilated according to two air-conditioning units. I use Archicad 22 for designing my Kindergarten.

Soil Genesis and Vegetation Response to Amendments and Microtopography in Two Virginia Coastal Plain Created Wetlands

Ott, Emily Thomas 12 June 2018 (has links)
Wetlands serve important ecosystem functions such as carbon sequestration but are often affected by disturbances like urban development, agriculture, and road building. For wetlands created to mitigate losses, it is important that the ecosystem functions successfully replicate those of natural wetlands. Created wetlands have frequently not provided these functions due to issues including low organic carbon (OC), high soil bulk density (BD), lost topsoil, incorrect hydrology, and failure of targeted vegetation establishment. Organic matter (OM) amendments help created wetlands attain these functions quicker, but, their long-term effects are seldom reported. This research's purpose was to measure the long-term effects of treatments at a sandy tidal freshwater wetland created in 2003 (WWE) and a fine-textured, non-tidal wetland created in 2002 (CCW). We tested OM treatments, topsoil amendment, and microtopography effects on soil and vegetation properties at WWE and OM treatments at CCW. Pedogenic changes in soil morphology, physical and chemical properties were detected by comparing data to previous studies at these sites. At both sites, litter and biomass parameters were measured to estimate total mass C. Herbaceous biomass was measured at WWE. At WWE, no long-term OM treatment effects from 78 or 156 Mg ha-1 were observed. Soils in pits had higher OC, lower BD, and lower chroma than soils on mounds. Sandy and loamy HSFI's developed at WWE within four years, but there were fewer sandy indicators after 12 years. Loamy HSFI's were lost at CCW from 2003 to 2016. Plots at WWE that were amended with topsoil had higher soil mass C than the sandy soil due to a finer texture, but total mass C did not vary. At CCW, long-term OM treatment effects were observed, including lower BD, higher soil mass C, and higher tree mass C with increasing compost rates up to 224 Mg ha-1. Overall, the ideal compost loading rate for constructed wetlands varied with wetland type and mitigation goals. Compost rates of 112 Mg ha-1 are sufficient for short term establishment of wetland vegetation and hydric soil properties, but higher rates near 224 Mg ha-1 may be required for effects that last over 10 years. / Ph.
