The aim of this masters thesis is to assess the relation between two organizations with competences towards the European space policy that happen to be in dispute over these competences - the European Union (EU) and the European Space Agency (ESA). The main research question asks whether the ESA hinders further supranationalization of the space matters within the EU framework and the research uses the lenses of the theory of the rational design which highlights the importance of the Member States as the decisive actors in this question who have to incline one way or the other. This thesis examines relevant documents issued by the EU and the ESA, as well as at the positions of the Member States of the European Space Agency with regard to this dispute, and concludes that the ESA indeed hinders further supranationalization of the space matters within the EU framework because it goes against the positions and interests of the Member States. The hindrance reaches the level that the only thing the Member States are willing to do is to adjust the financial procedures in respect to the programmes run by ESA and funded by the EU to ensure their efficient implementation complying with EU rules.

The thesis "Development of Czech social inclusion policies" looks at what factors influenced the development of social inclusion policy, focusing primarily on socially excluded Roma since 1989. In the period after 1989 Czech public and social policy was under influence of many factor including both external ones, resulting from the efforts of the Czech Republic to join the European Union, or later from the membership itself, as well as internal ones, arising from the need to ensure the functioning of the system in a rapidly changing socio-economic conditions. When mapping the development of the policy attention is paid particular to the impacts of the process of European integration and institutional changes that are reflected in the implementation of social inclusion policies. Furthermore, the text seeks to uncover the causes and effects of changes in development of examined policy. Those identifying factors that may be considered essential for the development of Czech social inclusion policies, went from thematic analysis of interviews with experts. The Diploma thesis focuses on the issues of social exclusion and people threatened by social exclusion phenomenon. In the thesis I address the process of social inclusion, which is related to socially excluded localities based on particular characteristics and local problems. A separate chapter is devoted to the method of community work that is focused on the effective response to the needs of socially excluded people. Furthermore I emphasize the work of the Agency for Social Inclusion, a major instrument of the Government of the Czech Republic, providing support to municipalities in the process of social integration. The relationship of the majority towards the socially excluded is also discussed within the thesis. Many studies consider the municipality and its government to represent the key role in the process of social inclusion of people endangered by social exclusion. However in the reality there are big differences among the municipalities with regard to the operation and support of socially excluded people. Social departments of some municipalities are acting proactively, others are not. The main difference lies in the self-government approach. The Diploma thesis focuses on the topic of Socially excluded locality and its perception by municipal politicians. The topic is researched in three specific municipalities within a region and on the approach of local municipal politicians towards the issue of social exclusion, while the close proximity of the municipalities also allows to monitor the diversity of particular municipality's approaches on the issue of social exclusion. In the thesis the concept of social exclusion is defined and also described historically both in global and European context. The concept of social exclusion is closely related to the topic of socially excluded locality and the adoption of socially vulnerable people by the majority, therefore the second chapter of the thesis is devoted to this topic. Another theme prepared on the basis of the professional literature focuses on description of the specific situation in the Czech Republic, possibilities and scope of national and municipal politicians' activity. This thesis deals with event marketing into integrated marketing communications. The main objective is to assess the effectiveness and appropriateness of selected methods in the selected company. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first chapter describes the theoretical and the elements of marketing communication and clarifies the issue of event marketing. The theoretical knowledge applied in the Energy Media Publishing Ltd. and specifically its product - the magazine Do kabelky, his performance is part of the second chapter in the situational analysis. The third chapter is devoted to marketing research, which is processed in the form of primary research interviews with the event experts and target group publishing - magazine reader. Finally, in the fourth chapter, I propose that event marketing strategy, which will draft a specific event.

The thesis is focused on the Prachatice area. In the framework thesis was realized field research, determined profile visitor, created product package Criss-cross the Prachatice Area (specializes in cycling tourism, discovering nature, towns, ancient, historical and cultural monuments) and designed new tourism offer.

The topic of this thesis is: Travel contracts according to the new Civil Code. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the basic terms related to the tourism and it describes the consumer protection legislation in both the Czech Republic and the European Union. In the practical part, there is an analysis of some travel contracts (including the terms of a contract) of tour operators and travel agencies located in České Budějovice. This part also analyses the results which were obtained from the questionnaires intended for the customers of tour operators or travel agencies and for the tour operators and travel agencies.

My thesis ,,Possibilities of solving of unemployment in the Czech Republic and in France" has the objective of insight to the issue of solving of unemployment from the perspective of the state and its employment policy, especially to instruments of active employment policy in our republic and in France. My thesis is divided into nine chapters. The research part of the thesis deals with theoretical knowledge from areas as labour market, employment, unemployment and employment policies on the level of European Union and on the level of given surveyed states. At its end I made a short preview to the issue of macroeconomical indicators and national economy that I later used in the practical part for brief characteristics of economical situation of the states and their chosen parts. As I have mentioned above, the practical part of my thesis deals with economical characteristics of both surveyed states and analysis of unemployment in them. Its main part is formed by my focusing on the comparison of possibilities of solving of unemployment in selected higher territorial self-governing units of the Czech Republic and France. Here I perform analysis of the labour market according to different criteria in the Czech region Highlands and in the French region Limousin. Then I define and create a comparison of the particular ways of solving of unemployment in these areas. In my thesis I further express my own assessment of effectiveness of the Active employment policy operating both in the Czech Republic specifically in the Highland region and in France in mentioned Limousin region. The very end contains mainly summary of knowledge gained at the practical part and statement how the set target was achieved.

The aim of my thesis is to analyze the operation of selected organizations of destination management in the South Bohemian region or in other regions in the neighborhood. My work focuses especially on comparison the existence, operation, focus and also cooperation between individual subjects of destination managements. The thesis brings a real recommendations in order to improve efficiency in operation of these subjects.

This thesis deals with marketing activities of the Baby Agency, a babysitting company. The aim of this thesis is to map current marketing strategies of the company and to recommend improvements. The thesis itself is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part describes specific sections of marketing, such as marketing strategies, marketing mix of services, communication targeting at children and teenagers, market research techniques or new trends in marketing. The second part analyzes current marketing activities of the company and maps the competition. In the conclusion the thesis suggests the steps to be undertaken to improve the current marketing strategy of the Baby Agency are suggested, based on theoretical findings, analyses and surveys.
