Formování hierarchie v cosplayerské komunitě / Hierarchy formation in the cosplay community

Králová, Monika January 2019 (has links)
The popularity of wearing costumes and masks has a long tradition. The phenomenon called cosplay began to be discussed for the first time in the 1980s. Cosplayers are fans of media content that not only wear costumes, but they also try to imitate the character's character on festivals. Some individuals, thanks to their activity, become celebrities themselves within the community. Fans may not always be just a passive group of recipients of media content. This thesis focuses on how these positions can be achieved and how the hierarchy is shaped in the Czech cosplay community. The theoretical framework is based on findings of fan studies. Methods used for data collection include participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The timeframe for data collection is the period from May 2018 to October 2018. For analysis were used the grounded theory principles, namely open and axial coding. The output is a paradigmatic model. This research has brought new information related to the topic of hierarchy in fan communities. Not only has the high activity of the individuals but also the social ties had an influence on hierarchy formation. This work also reflected the Czech cosplay community.

Sociální poznávání pomocí koní / Horse assisted social cognition

Pfannová, Adéla January 2017 (has links)
of Diploma Thesis Social Cognition with horse's assistance Adela Pfannova 2017 Social Cognition is an area of psychology, which evaluates how people perceive others, relations and events in their social environment. Improving skills in this area is beneficial for different parts of life of a person and for the whole society. Consequences can be the development of prosocial behaviour, collaboration, and decrease in aggressive behaviour and in perceiving people through stereotypes. These skills can be improved with Equine Assisted Activities, which I further write about in this Thesis. With the inspiration of Natural horsemanship or Equitation Science, it is possible to try to understand horse's cognition, which differs a lot from human perspective. Horses are social animals, which are sensitive for signals from their environment and quick in responses to them. Because they are naturally living in herd hierarchy, they are trying to clear social positions with humans as well. That makes humans to realize their current place in hierarchy and to communicate it. Horse's influence on people is complex and it can affect all parts of their personality, which I describe as bio- psychosocial-spiritual. It is possible to use horse's positive effect for Treatment or Therapy.

Čuma, Radek January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis maps pupils' understanding about a functional principle of using commands along with testing conditions (IF, IF - THEN, REPEAT - UNTIL, etc.) when creating algorithms. The main aim of the thesis is to design and implement a set of lessons and a teaching approach based on a theory about learning of algorithmic concepts at primary education for pupils (aged in 9-11) with the intention of verifying a functionality of designed teaching procedures and their possible impacts on pupils' understanding. Data was collected through continuous monitoring of pupils' behavioural characteristics, progress and solution of chosen tasks, video recordings of task solving within the suggested unplugged activities, using a virtual tool Code.org for monitoring of a pupils' progress, audio recordings of interview with pupils, and photographs capturing a creation of own blocks of commands set up by a transcription from pupils' mother language into a machine language (programming language) have all been used for a verification process of the designed teaching approach. By combining the acquired data sets, adjustments of these procedures have been made in order to eliminate the most frequent problems that pupils have encountered during teaching. The case study findings revealed that it is important for...

Matematický potenciál aktivit v hodinách tělesné výchovy na 1. stupni základní školy / Mathematical potential of activities in the classes of physical education in elementary school

Šíp, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with exploration of the interdisciplinarity of school subjects, specifically the link between mathematics and physical education. The educational goals and content of these subjects, as they are taught in majority of schools, are described in the theoretical part. The subsequent chapters analyze the form of interdisciplinarity in the current educational system, with the focus on the interdisciplinary relation between mathematics and physical education. The practical part of this thesis consists of case reports of students who took part in physical education with activities focused on rhythm in mathematics. This intervention was administered in two fourth grade classes, that were compared with two different fourth grades that took part in regular physical education. The differences between these classes were investigated by examining the students' attitude towards mathematics and physical education, as well as students' mathematical knowledge, which was assessed by administering tests before and after the physical education interventions. Additionally, the thesis contains the collection of the exercises that the students took part in, and which can be used to improve rhythmical and mathematical abilities.
