Author: Bc. Kateřina Humlová Title: Exercise and physical activities during pregnancy from the perspective of physiotherapist in the Czech Republic. Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is evaluate the opinions, experiences and competencies of physiotherapist from the Czech Republic in relation to work with pregnant woman, which were collected during pre- and postgraduate education. Methods: A non-standardized questionnaire was created for the Leeds of the research. The research was taken by 171 probands (physiotherapists of the Czech Republic). The data were evaluated using Microsoft Excel and mathematical software R. Results: In the examined number of physiotherapists in the Czech Republic (n = 171) it was found that over 85 % (n = 146; 85,4 %) of participating physiotherapists rand the evaluation of informatik during undergraduate study and the posibility of working with pregnant woman as insufficient. There were no statistically signifiant differences between the evaluations of respondents from different schools or between the time from graduation. More than 81 % of respondents (n = 139) were interested in pregnancy education. Interest of women dominated over interest of men. Over 71 % of respondents (n = 119) work regurarly with pregnant women and more than 73 % of respondents (n = 126)...

The theme of this diploma thesis is the Multipurpose Center of Jevišovice. The complex consists of two buildings and an adjacent parking lot. Building A is wheelchair-accessible, stand alone with a flat roof over three above-ground floors. The building has a gallery, a marriage hall and the Jewsovice office. Buildings B are situated as separate buildings, with a flat roof over two above-ground floors. There are rooms for social activities in the building.

The task of this thesis was focused on influence of physical load on electrical activity of muscle. There are basic principals and terms from the problematic of measuring electric activity of muscle. Author suggested measuring protocol, got data from group of people, made an application and used this application to analyse measured signals. At the end of this work it was suggested statistical processing and evaluation of results.

Coffee grounds are one of the very valuable lignocellulosic wastes that have been able to be processed and used for isolated phenolic substances. Many phenolic substances isolated from lignocellulosic wastes have antimicrobial properties. Aim of this thesis is isolation phenolic substances from spent coffee grounds extract and their available antimicrobial properties. Two isolation ways were applied to receive phenolic substances from spent coffee grounds: 1) solvent extraction (hexane, 75% ethanol, 70% acetone, diethyl ether, and ethyl acetate) and 2) release of active substances by alcoholic fermentation. All isolated materials were characterized by the viewpoint of concentration of reducing sugars, polyphenols and flavonoids. Subsequently, their antimicrobial activity was determined by using agar diffusion and broth dilution methods. Two gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus luteus), one gram-negative bacteria (Serratia marcescens) and two yeasts (Candida glabrata and Saccharomyces cerevisiae) were used for antimicrobial testing. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to identify phenolic substances in the extracts. First, the results showed that the isolated sample with the highest antimicrobial activity was 70% acetone extract. This extract contained chlorogenic acid, gallic acid, caffeic acid and coumaric acid according to HPLC. The ethyl acetate extract showed the lowest antimicrobial activity. Second, after lyophilization, the isolated materials also revealed high antimicrobial activity. The highest antimicrobial activity displayed the materials obtained by the extraction with 70% ethanol. This sample contained chlorogenic acid, gallic acid and caffeic acids. Next, samples with phenolic compounds were obtained by the alcoholic fermentation of spent coffee grounds. These samples showed similarly to the previous solution extracts significant antimicrobial activity. Interestingly, the unfiltered samples received directly after alcoholic fermentation also showed antifungal properties. The characterization of phenolic compounds by HPLC showed similarly as in previous examples that chlorogenic, caffeic and gallic acids were present in these samples.

Title: Sexual satisfaction in people with spinal cord injuries engaged in regular physical activity. Objectives: The main goal of this work is to determine the level of sexual satisfaction in people with spinal cord injuries, who perform regular physical activity. Methods: A battery of questions was used to find out the satisfaction of people with spinal cord injuries, who regularly perform physical activity. The WHOQOL 100, PASID, LATA, SAS SAQ questionnaires were used as basic for creating battery of questions. Data collection was completely anonymous and took place online. The survey involved 21 respondents with spinal cord injuries (18 men and 3 women) aged 18 to 75 years. All were included in the research because they met the criteria for performing regular physical activity. The results of the survey were processed into graphs and tables and supplemented by a written commentary. Results: It was found that for a majority of respondents their sexual life is important and for most of them the sexual life is a source of pleasure. Almost half of the respondents consider their sexual life satisfactory. However , less than half of the respondents state that not all their needs are met. The research suggests that satisfaction with amount of physical activity performed may be related to higher quality...

The antimicrobial effects of cinnamon, clove and ginger (grand and fresh) extracts against Bacillus subtilis, Aspergillus niger and Pichia fermentans were studied in this thesis. Selected spices were extracted in three solvents (ethanol, water and ethyl acetate) and inhibition effect on tested microorganisms was studied using two methods disc diffusion and broth dilution methods. The antioxidant activity and total polyphenolic compounds from spices were also determined. The results showed that cinnamon and clove extracts in ethyl acetate and ethanol were a promising antimicrobial substances for all tested microorganisms. Combination of cinnamon and clove especially ethyl acetate extracts showed an aditive effect. However, in the case of broth dilution method, fresh ginger inhibited bacterial growth under optimal growth conditions of Bacillus subtilis (35 °C, pH 7, 250 rpm). Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values for all susceptible microorganisms was determined 8,3 mg/ml. The highest amounts of polyphenolic substances were found in cinnamon and clove ethanol extract and this result was in correlation with antioxidant activity.

The Master´s thesis analyses financial situation of the entrepreneurial entity. It includes analysis of financial ratios and selected bankruptcy models, based on whose steps leading to assurance of stability and prosperity of entrepreneurial activities were proposed.

The diploma thesis focuses on cost optimization of individual marketing activities. It contains analysis of these activities in the chosen company including its ratings and suggestions for optimal structure. The outcome of this thesis provides recommendations for its leaders to improve marketing usage in the company.

My thesis is called Estate agencies organization and work of the agencies. It concentrates on estate agencies' activity on Czech estate market and on the ways how the agencies are organised. I created a questionnaire based on my theoretical knowledge and having considered the results I am suggesting some changes so that the current situation could be improved.

This thesis deals with the issue of algorithmic voice activity detection. Impacts of adverse conditions on the reliability of detection is analysed, and main historical and up-to-date approaches to this issue are discussed. Simulations on both synthetic, and application specific labeled speech databases are used to support the theoretical analysis of important VAD methods. Based on the theoretical analysis together with the performance results, an optimization is proposed that is capable to overcome some limitations of the current methods when dealing with variable working conditions.}
