<p>Magnetic monopoles are hypothetical particles carrying isolated magnetic charges, analogous to electrically charged particles. They have never been observed in experiments, but there are theoretical indications that they might exist. Several experiments have been carried out over the years in order to detect monopoles, or to set upper limits on their abundance in the Universe.</p><p>In this work, underlying theory of the properties of magnetic monopoles is presented, together with some of the experiments performed in the past, the present and the future. Emphasis is put on AMANDA and other Cherenkov neutrino telescopes. Results of the described experimental searches are summarized.</p>

Arbetet består av en analys av boken Hey Dolly av Amanda Svensson med fokus på genusidentiteter och hur Dolly representerar den nya kvinnan. Hey Dolly innehållertraditionella kvinno- och mansroller men personerna i boken bryter också mot de traditionellagenusidentiteterna.Den nya sortens kvinna som Dolly representerar är en person som pendlar mellan rollerna och utmanar. Hon kämpar med sin genusidentitet och öppnar slutligen upp för alla att befinna sig i en gråzon. Resultatet blir en ny genusidentitet där en man kan vara mjuk och manlig och enkvinna kan vara hård men kvinnlig. Dolly tänker inte välja och tycker inte att andra ska behöva välja heller.

El presente trabajo tiene como fin crear un espacio literario para la poesía femenina en Honduras y rescatar de algún modo el legado literario de Amanda Castro. La mujer y su realidad es un eje fundamental en el imaginario poético de Castro. En su poesía la poeta celebra la valentía, el valor y la esencia de la mujer. Sin embargo, la poeta también utiliza su poesía para denunciar los abusos e injusticias contra la mujer. De la misma manera, a través de su obra, la poeta promueve una liberación sexual femenina y desnuda una realidad lésbica en una sociedad donde no hay espacio para la homosexualidad. Además, la poeta explora sus raíces indígenas y recrea mediante palabras y sueños el pasado desde una perspectiva indígena. Finalmente, la escritora le rinde tributo a la muerte generando una reflexión fascinante sobre la vida y su fugacidad.
