Abstract Such key elements as the suggestion system organization culture , question formed inside the organization improve consciousness , incentive system, except basic conditions needed to possess while building and constructing the administrative system of knowledge of enterprises on the practice; Can also be regarded as and implemented staff's originality management and basic tactics of organizational innovation. And organize no matter promote information management , suggestion system or organizational innovation, can is it must reach like improve sufficient ' whole participation ' of terms , motion of activity to work smoothly; So, the key factor of influencing the activity that it is organized that ' staff participate in ' is important must be probed into. The centre of market survey of enterprise management of Harvard did the investigation to the vast professional manager, the suggestion system ranks the fourth place while managing tools in ten major crazes. December of the 87th year of the Republic of China, the suggestion system that motion association and centre halfback's centre of development carry on pursues the state result to show, 72.10% of the enterprises channel into this system at home, however, the investigation result shows, the company above 80% of domestic participating in rate of system staff of enterprise's motion (the number of people / staff's number of the motion ) is but only 12.30%, there are 77.10% of the companies that think it is that the system pursue the greatest problem on that " the staff participate in the will " in enterprises pursueing the suggestion system at home. In addition, probe into our country the large thesis for the Doctorate of the suggestion system according to the researcher, find that studies and overweights more suggestion system and knowledge to create and organize in study at home, probe into the suggestion system and there is very few and black research which the staff join. In addition, the suggestion system , knowledge create , information management and organizing study to all belong to the activity of the whole company, the staff's participation is very important; And can be implementing the basic tactics had in information management , intention management or organizational innovation in order to organize in suggestion system; So, this research purpose is two: First. Probe into understanding with interview which the factor of the suggestion system are to influence the staff to participate in organizing through documents? Then gather together the structure chart exactly setting up this research. Second. With the analytic approach of the level (analytic hierarchy process, AHP) as research approach, set up not influencing not organizing staff of suggestion system not to be participated in weight of factor of ways on through being systemic than, offer the reference that the industry or the organization promote the suggestion system . On the research approach , put in order and probe into literary composition surface and factor suitable for this research theme through documents first in this research, set up AHP and study the structure according to this, and then and then study the structure through AHP that expert's interview , enterprise view and emulate and participate in the motion system practice education and training among the workshops to revise and establish this research, then set up expert's questionnaire in accordance with AHP law, coaching advisor and lecturer and enterprise suggestion system pusher correlated with the system of the motion carry on questionnaire investigation, and then set up comparative matrix in pairs in accordance with AHP law after the questionnaire is retrieved , and use AHP ' Expert Choice 2000 ' to make policy and support the application software, screen the effective questionnaire, calculate a advisor group and assay its consistency with one group of weights of every level of AHP expert's questionnaire feedbacked of industry. The performance evaluation model for reception clerks in the hospitality industry

Chen, Su-ching 20 January 2006 (has links)
The hospitality industry is a service industry of multiple arts. Despite the various scales of hotels, they all aim at the same goal ¡V to provide various services to satisfy the demands of the public in the aspects of food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and entertainment. ¡§Human¡¨ is the most important resource of the hospitality industry, and the master of utilizing and manipulating other resources in this industry. But in practice, the performance of ¡§human¡¨ is volatile and unstable, so it is hard for managers to persistently maintain the service standard for a long term. In other words, in the service industries such as hotels, the improvement of service quality hinges on the management of employees¡¦ behaviors before they interact with clients. Thus, if performance management can be properly implemented, the employees can understand the correct service indices and provide satisfactory services to the clients. However, whether an enterprise has reasonable performance management indices and systems, the evaluation result and effectiveness are closely correlated. Therefore, this study aimed to provide a reference standard that the hospitality industry could use to evaluate their reception clerks and the clerks could use the evaluation model as a goal they work for, in hope of enhancing the competitiveness of the both parties. In the procedure of the research, the first stage was based on literature reviews to organize and analyze the performance indices for evaluating reception clerks in the hospitality industry. In the second stage, an interview with professional managers of the industry was conducted to verify the indices and hierarchy levels. At last, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to derive the weight of indices for evaluating the reception clerks and establish a performance evaluation model for reception clerks in the hospitality industry. In terms of the derived weights, among the 3 constructs, ¡§work achievement¡¨ had the highest weight ratio, taking up as high as 42%. As a result, the property of a hotel reception clerk¡¦s work heavily relied on work achievement. According to the service characteristics of the hospitality industry, as the reception clerks were the most front personnel to contact and serve clients, their service quality, professional ability, problem-solving ability, and etc. would be promptly presented to the clients and represent the company in clients¡¦ first impression. So they were of high importance. This study also verified the application of the study results to the practice. Thus, in addition to building a ¡§Reception Clerk Performance Evaluation Scale¡¨ with derived indices and weights, the researcher also sought the assistance of managers of a hotel to conduct the empirical study. The results also showed that the study was in accordance with the current situation and could be practically applied to the industry. And in the survey, it was found that performance evaluation systems were not prevalent among the surveyed hotels. Less than 30% of the hotels implemented the evaluation system. Thus, if performance appraisal operations could be effectively implemented in the industry to reinforce management and motivate employees, it was believed that the overall business performance could be enhanced and the competitiveness of the industry could be strengthened too.

Research on Performance Measurement for the R&D Department

Chu, Chun 29 July 2008 (has links)
Toady, the rapid changes in business environment of shortened product life cycles and advanced technology, drew the attention upon research and development¡¦s (R&D) contribution to competitive advantage. As a result, valuing the performance of R&D has become exceedingly important. This study established a general framework of R&D performance measurements by reviewing and organizing literatures and researches on R&D performance, along with giving an insight on what are the most valued measurements with applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The questionnaire which developed from AHP was filled by senior managers of R&D. Valuing from industry and R&D function perspective, we had the results of four similar core R&D performance measurements of Customer Satisfaction, Technology commercialized, Market Share, and Technical achievement. However, the individual ranking from these perspectives, are quite different. In the sense of high-technology and traditional industry, having the same top five measurements of Customer Satisfaction, Market Share, Technical achievement, Technology commercialized, and Profitability, the ranking for each industry is differ. As for new product development (NPD) and process improving function, having the same four out of five core R&D performance measurements of Customer Satisfaction, Market Share, Access to New Market, and Technology commercialized, the ranking for each function is differ. The results for priorities and weights of each R&D performance measurements, are not only giving an insight on the most preferred measurements, but also when coming for measuring performance, the weights upon the measurements should be considered for more accuracy in performance evaluation. Also the indifference of core measurements for differ industries or R&D functions, which indicates when establishing performance measurement in practice, there can be same measurements; however there should be different ways upon valuing, since the priority for them are different.

the key indicators that our countrymen choose domestic fruits have been established

Chen, Hsien-ling 17 June 2009 (has links)
In Taiwan, under the competitive environment that exported fruits enter the market gradually, domestic fruits should manifest their features through the establishment of product brands and governmental certifications. In addition, the consumer behavior such as consumers¡¦ habits and characteristics of choosing domestic fruits will become the key factors whether domestic fruits will have great market share successfully. Therefore, this study intends to explore what the key factors are when our countrymen choose domestic fruits. Through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method, the key indicators that our countrymen choose domestic fruits have been established. Through complete collections of related literatures, including the collections and the explorations of literatures such as consumer behavior, Consumer Decision-Making Model, product attributes, and consumers¡¦ characteristics of choosing fruits, this study has constructed the key indicators that our countrymen choose domestic fruits, in which the aspects of product, consumer habit and policy are included. The aspect of product includes brand, product feature, product price, product package style, product quality, product classification, and product safety and hygiene; the aspect of consumer habit includes purchase purpose, source of information, promotion activity and purchase location. Finally, this study is of the opinion that governmental policies play a key role in the aspect of policy. Therefore, the aspect of policy has also been classified as the main dimension in this study, including the sub-principles such as promotion policies, quality certification by the government, the government¡¦s policies of imports and exports, traceability and so on. Through the analyses and retrievals of the questionnaires answered by the experts in the fields of production, official, and academia, related suggestions about marketing have been proposed, and provided as the reference for the supply and distribution units such as agriculture associations, fruit and vegetables cooperatives, and production-marketing groups and so on to select and set up related products and strategies. As a whole, this study has found out that as for the key factors that our countrymen choose domestic fruits, the most emphasized ones are: the aspect of product¡]0.406¡^¡Ö the aspect of consumer habit ¡]0.361¡^¡Ö the aspect of policy¡]0.233¡^. In other words, in terms of the aspect of policy (traceability, quality certification by the government, promotion policies, and the government¡¦s policies of imports and exports), consumers are less easily affected by the factor of the aspect of policy, aimed at the issue of the key indicator that our countrymen choose domestic fruits. In the perspective of related agriculture units, there is still room for improving the effort made according to our country¡¦s agriculture policies. In the future, the guiding principle for improvement needs be drawn up actively, aimed at the previous effort in the aspect of policy made by related agriculture units. In addition, in this study, related research suggestions have been proposed, aiming at the directions such as product safety and hygiene, brand strategies for domestic fruits, consumers¡¦ purchase behavior, package styles, and so on.

Identifying Candidates for Product Deletion: An Analytic Hierarchy Process Approach / 分析層級程序法在產品刪除決策之應用

徐正穎, Cheng-ying Hsu Unknown Date (has links)
分析層級程序法在產品刪除決策之應用 / The recent explosion of product management in consumer packaged goods has highlighted the importance of product assortment decisions. In particular, firms are increasingly faced with the decision of which products to delete from distribution. Upon reflection, there are both strategic and tactical dimensions to this decision. Strategic approaches focus on the development of optimal product assortments as the basis for deletion decisions. Tactical approaches address incremental (i.e., item-by- item) decisions whether to delete any product, and if so, which product. This thesis focuses on tactical approaches and proposes using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a systematic and analytic tool that helps to quantify the managerial judgments in identifying the candidates for product deletion. Supported by a practical case study, which illustrates how AHP can be beneficial in quantifying both financial and non-financial product performance rankings for managers’ easier understanding and higher transparency of product deletion decision-making.

Comparison of fuzzy and crisp analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methods for spatial multicriteria decision analysis in GIS

Kordi, Maryam January 2008 (has links)
<p>There are a number of decision making problems in which Geographical Information System (GIS) has employed to organize and facilitate the procedure of analyzing the problem. These GIS-based decision problems which typically include a number of different criteria and alternatives are generally analyzed by Multicriteria Decision Analysis (MCDA).Different locations within a geographical area represent the alternatives by which the overall goal of the project is achieved. The quality of achieving the goal is evaluated by a set of criteria which should be considered in the work. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) which is a powerful method of MCDA generally can organize spatial problems and decides which alternatives are most suitable for the defined problems. However due to some intrinsic uncertainty in the method, a number of authors suggest fuzzifying the method while others are against fuzzification of the AHP.</p><p>The debate over fuzzifying AHP is going on and attempt for finding that was mostly in theory, and little, if any; practical comparison between the AHP and fuzzified AHP has done. This work presents a practical comparison of AHP and fuzzy AHP in a GIS-based problem, case study, for locating a dam in Costa Rica, considering different criteria. In order to perform the AHP and fuzzy AHP in the GIS-based problem and calculating weights of the criteria by the methods, some computer codes have written and developed in MATLAB.</p><p>The comparisons between the AHP and fuzzy AHP methods are done on result weights and on the result final maps. The comparison between the weights is repeated on different levels of uncertainty in fuzzy AHP then all the results are compared with the result of AHP method. Also this study for checking the effect of fuzzification on results is suggested Chi-Square test as a suitable tool.</p><p>Comparisons between the resulting weights of the AHP and fuzzy AHP methods show some differences between the methods. Furthermore, the Chi-Square test shows that the higher level of uncertainty in the fuzzy AHP, the greater the difference in results between the AHP and fuzzy AHP methods.</p>

The Key Success Factors of Applying Video Blog in Web-based Learning

Chen, Chun-ching 25 July 2007 (has links)
This research aims to explore the application of video blog (vlog) in web based learning. The advancement of teaching technology is one of the key elements in education reform. The swift deployment of information technology, the circulation of Internet services and the proliferation of multimedia content have broaden the horizon of learning activity. Digital and video technologies have contributed to the rise of video blog services such as YouTube and the like. As the bandwidth for transmission broadens and the video service expands, everyone with a digital camera can become content generator. User-generated content makes video blog possible. Can video blog be applicable to teaching and learning activities? By conducting a thorough literature review of learning theories and information theories, this study aggregated seven dimensions comprising forty three elements. Through analytic hierarchical procedure (AHP) method, the researcher conducted the first-wave questionnaire survey to students at the Feng Chia University then selected first half elements for evaluation. The second-wave questionnaire, complemented by interview, was aimed at experts in the field, which resulted in a priority list of the elements. The research result suggests that video blog can be applicable to teaching activity indeed. When using video blog appropriately, teaching can become more lively and interesting. The most important factor still lies in how a teacher design the curriculum. Interface of design, putting in the second place in terms of importance, should be convenient, simple and easy for search. Those with higher information literacy, in the third place of importance, are more likely to use Internet for learning. The fourth important dimension is related to content formats including sound clearness, graph size and layout. This study should contribute to the education circle and curriculum production industry when considering how with which priority-setting video blog can be applied.

The Key Success Factors of Using Information and Communications Technology For Political Marketing:The Case of Using Blog in the 4th Kaohsiung Mayor Election Campaign.

Fan, Cheng-yi 26 July 2007 (has links)
This research explores the application of new information and communications technology in political marketing. As a representative of Web2.0, blog has changed the way of interaction between the media and users as well as that between media users. Blog makes it possible for information receivers transmit messages and express views from bottom-up. As blog develops globally with its users increased, it has become an increasingly important issue regarding how it can be used for political marketing. It is common that Taiwan¡¦s politicians are increasingly interested in developing their own blogs for marketing themselves and providing constituency service. This study aims to examine how mayor candidates take advantage of blog for campaign marketing. It tries to understand and describe the intention of political bloggers. It also explores the key success factors regarding how political candidates conduct campaign marketing using blog. By a literature review of the Internet development and evolution, digital democracy, political marketing and blogs, the author found out six dimensions and 35sub-dimensions for evaluation: content expression, interactivity, marketing and promotion, business model and friendliness of using. Through analytic hierarchy process (AHP) , the first-wave survey for bloggers results in the first-half sub-dimensions. The second-wave interview was conducted to seven experts in the field of political marketing, which results in the priority-setting of the sub-dimension factors. The result shows that political marketing using blog targets mainly on young and well-educated electorates. The reasons for their using blog include fast accumulation of political information, interaction with candidates, and support from others. It shows that friendliness of access, interaction, and business model are the top three concerns when establishing a campaign blog. They are followed by marketing and promotion, interface design, and content expression. This study will contribute to the understanding of using blog for political marketing both at theoretical and practicallevels.
