Proudění magnetické kapaliny s aplikací Binghamova modelu / The flow of magnetic liquid with Bingham model applicationStejskal, Jan January 2013 (has links)
Main topic of this thesis are magnetic fluids. These are specific type of fluids which can simplistically be considered as Bingham fluids. Main issues regarding the magnetic fluids mentioned in this thesis are: rheological properties of the magnetic fluids, behaviour of the magnetic fluids and the use of the magnetic fluids in industrial applications. Main goal is to apply Binghams model on the the magnetic fluids assuming that this model can be applied with a good accuracy. Equations which describe behaviour of the Bingham fluids are constructed. Some assumptions which have to be respected to use this analytical equations for magnetic fluids are formulated. Flow of bingham fluid is analytically solved in some simplificated cases with consideration of laminar flow. Analytical results are confronted with numerical ones obtained from CFD software Fluent for the purpose of verification.

Analytické řešení difrakce na planárních periodických strukturách / Analytical solution of diffraction by planar periodic structuresKuchařík, Jan January 2018 (has links)
In my research work, I study diffraction by planar periodic structures (diffraction grating). In the first chapter, I try to familiarize the importance of diffraction gratings in spectroscopy. The second chapter explains the basic principle of diffraction without involving difficult mathematical tools. In the third chapter, I deduce Fourier modal method from Maxwell equations, a modern mathematical approach used for calculating the electromagnetic response of diffraction. The most important part of my work consists of the fourth and fifth chapter. At first, I try to utilize Fourier modal method for deriving formulas involving just 0th and (-1)st diffraction orders. Because of the unreasonable difficulty of uncovered formulas, I decided to consider only a special case - so-called Littrow configuration, in which the solution can be superposed from symmetric and antisymmetric couples of rays. I further develop so-called Local modal method - very inaccurate, but mathematically fairly simple, and discuss its physical limitations. Whole work is finished by the sixth chapter, which compares accurate computations gained from simulation and derived analytical formulas for both methods.

Forcing, deskriptivní teorie množin, analýza / Forcing, deskriptivní teorie množin, analýzaDoucha, Michal January 2013 (has links)
The dissertation thesis consists of two thematic parts. The first part, i.e. chapters 2, 3 and 4, contains results concerning the topic of a new book of the supervisor and coauthors V. Kanovei and M. Sabok "Canonical Ramsey Theory on Polish Spaces". In Chapter 2, there is proved a canonization of all equivalence relations Borel reducible to equivalences definable by analytic P-ideals for the Silver ideal. Moreover, it investigates and classifies sube- quivalences of the equivalence relation E0. In Chapter 3, there is proved a canonization of all equivalence relations Borel reducible to equivalences de- finable by Fσ P-ideals for the Laver ideal and in Chapter 4, we prove the canonization for all analytic equivalence relations for the ideal derived from the Carlson-Simpson (Dual Ramsey) theorem. The second part, consisting of Chapter 5, deals with the existence of universal and ultrahomogeneous Polish metric structures. For instance, we construct a universal Polish metric space which is moreover equipped with countably many closed relations or with a Lipschitz function to an arbitrarily chosen Polish metric space. This work can be considered as an extension of the result of P. Urysohn who constructed a universal and ultrahomogeneous Polish metric space.

Stochastické evoluční systémy a jejich aplikace / Stochastic Evolution Systems and Their ApplicationsRubín, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
In the Thesis, linear stochastic differential equations in a Hilbert space driven by a cylindrical fractional Brownian motion with the Hurst parameter in the interval H < 1/2 are considered. Under the conditions on the range of the diffusion coefficient, existence of the mild solution is proved together with measurability and continuity. Existence of a limiting distribution is shown for exponentially stable semigroups. The theory is modified for the case of analytical semigroups. In this case, the conditions for the diffusion coefficient are weakened. The scope of the theory is illustrated on the Heath-Jarrow-Morton model, the wave equation, and the heat equation. 1

The thesis is focused on the analysis of presently offered products supporting Business Intelligence (BI) which are affordable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Current BI solutions available to SMEs are mostly offered via Cloud computing, specifically in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS) as it requires low initial acquisition costs. The objectives of this thesis are to analyse the work in applications for BI in cloud that can be used by SMEs and to analyse in detail the comparison the worldwide extended reporting tools distributed as SaaS in the lower price category. The theoretical part provides a description of the Cloud computing and the BI system. In the practical part are selected following products: IBM Watson Analytics, Qlik Sense Cloud, Zoho Reports, Tableau Public and Microsoft Power BI. Practical testing of these applications was based on evaluation of the selected metrics with weights calculated by using the Fuller's triangle. Analyses and the information form the basis for comparison of selected applications. The contribution of this thesis is in discovering the strengths and weaknesses of these BI solutions. The output of this thesis can be used as a source for the selection of BI applications for SMEs.
