The thesis is focused on studying deformation of the circular holes in the limit bending space, depending on the material type, distance from bend, the thickness of material and diameter of hole. After analyzing all necessary technological parameters was bending technology on press brake selected. An experiment for which the tools and press brake Trumpf TruBend 5170 were selected was designed and performed. Samples for the study were designed, bent and measured. The charts have been prepared for practical use in the company from measuring. In addition, simulations were processed in Ansys program and graphs were compiled to compare the main effect of the hole deformations. Two methods were chosen to prevent deformation in limit bending space. Under-cutting method by laser and method of using special Rollbend tool. In the end, economic studies for the Rollbend tool were developed instead of under-cutting hole with grinding.

This master’s thesis deals with a proposal of production technology of bottom part of charging station which is manufactured by DEL a.s. The component will be made of austenitic steel 17 349 which is 2 mm thick and its production series is 100 pieces a year. Punching and bending by MAG and TIG methods were chosen as the most suitable methods from the considered manufactoring technologies. Stud bolts will be welded by capacitor discharge. Based on the analysis of the technological calculations and the available machines in the manufacturing company was chosen that production is going to run through a punching press Pullmax 720, hydraulic CNC bending press OptiFlex 130 t 3,1 and welding sources TransPuls Synergic 3200, TransTig 1750 Puls and Nomark 65+. Technical and economical evaluation established cost calculation of semi-finished product material, welding wire, gaseous shield and stud bolts. The price of one piece is 3 117,70 Czech crowns.

The asymmetrical arrangement of cellular structure allows for an accurate functional adaptation at all levels of hierarchy, which derives excellent features for the development of new materials. The main objective of introducing a hierarchy into cellular structures is to improve the mechanical behaviour of the material while maintaining its elastic properties. A part of this work is devoted to the literature review related to the lightened cellular polymeric materials with hierarchical cellular structure. The rest is focused on the preparation of PLA based polymer structures using 3D printing, followed by a saturation in CO2 and a foaming in a silicon oil at elevated temperature. Samples were prepared from natural and white PLA filaments. Based on a series of experiments, optimal conditions for the saturation and foaming process were identified. Through 3D printing and foaming, a one-, two- and three-level hierarchy was introduced into the beam-shaped samples and the effect of the internal cell arrangement on the strain response of the material was examined by the means of a mechanical three-point bending test. Increasing the level of the hierarchy led to an increase in material resistance, which resulted in high values of strength and strain energy (toughness) based on the samples density. The best results were achieved by samples with “sandwich” structure with three levels of hierarchy and 30% filling. Despite the shorter plateau, there was a significant increase in strength and strain energy compared to gradient structures. At the same time, the contribution of the polymer structures prepared in this field of research was demonstrated by comparison with the theoretical model.

This thesis presents a tool design for production of embossments into the bottom part of the agricultural silo made of Dx51D material. The research analysis all technologies used for embossing, that is cutting and shallow drawing. This is followed by a chapter on simulation. The tool design itself is described. Its principle is based on tools for punching machines. The upper half of the tool is composed of a weldment to be clamped into pressing machine, into which are mounted functional parts in the form of inserts. The lower tool consists of several bolted plates, punches and a holding plate, which is located on the springs. In order to achieve correct design, necessary calculations were carried out and it was all confirmed by simulation in ANSYS. The two tool halfs are guided by pins attached at the edges of the lower tool. The technical - economical evaluation compares the work of the proposed tool with other possibilities of embossing.

This master’s thesis presents a proposal for the technology of manufacturing sheet metal part, which is a part of a bicycle wall bracket. The component is made of steel sheet ČSN 11 325 with subsequent surface treatment by galvanizing. Due to the chosen method of manufacturing with a progressive stamping die, the research part is focused on the technology of shearing and bending. Technological calculations were performed for the most suitable production variant, on the basis of which a mechanical press ANDRITZ Metals with the designation KSTU 2000-20-4G-PSE was chosen. Furthermore, the design of the tool itself is presented, which is substantiated by drawing documentation. At the end of the work, a technical and economic evaluation of the produced series of 300 000 workpieces per year is calculated.

The thesis proposes a concept of manufacturing the folding meter lock. The part is made from DC01+LC steel of 0,3 mm thickness. The series size is 100 000 pcs/year. A forming in a progressive combination tool combining shearing, bending and stamping was chosen for the production, based on the analysis of possible solutions. The tool, designed on the basis of literary research of used technologies, produces the part in eleven steps exerting maximal force of 38,5 kN. The production will take place on an eccentric press LEN 40 C. The market price of 3,38 Kč for one piece was established by the technical and economic evaluation.

The project drawn up within the framework of engineering studies in discipline Manufacturing technology (2303T002) presents a proposal for processing a single part – the part is made of sheet steel number S420MC – by blanking, bending and stamping. On the basis of a literary exploration of given problems several variants of processing a part was propounded in order to be made in just one tool. The transfer combined die is fixed in crank press WAINGARTEN ARP 80 with 800 kN nominal force. All functional parts are made of heat treated tool steel number 19 573.3 according to drawing documentation. Lower functional parts of tool (blanking die, stamping die and bending tool) are made as divided.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose a production technology of a given part based on technological and economic factors. At first it is found, if the part is producible by fineblanking. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is concerned with the description of the conventional sheet metal cutting theory, fineblanking theory and bending theory. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, four variants of cut-in plan are dealt with including the selection of the optimal one based on technological and economic calculations. It is the production of a PULL REAR iron made of the steel sheet 11 320.21, thickness of 3 mm and a production run of 75 000 pieces per year.
