Orientador: Claudia Maria Xatara / Banca: Jelssa Ciardi Avolio / Banca: Maria Cristina Parreira da Silva / Resumo: Da segunda metade do século XX até os dias atuais podemos observar uma crescente preocupação dos projetos lexicográficos em atender às necessidades dos aprendizes e, em especial, dos aprendizes de línguas estrangeiras. Diversas pesquisas têm gerado um arcabouço de conhecimentos e constituindo a chamada Metalexicografia Pedagógica. Nesse contexto, surgiram várias inovações, dentre as quais o dicionário semibilíngüe. Esse tipo de dicionário tem sido discutido internacionalmente, mas ainda não existe um consenso quanto à sua inserção na classificação tipológica geral. O presente trabalho, além de trazer uma seleção de recentes contribuições que associam o dicionário ao ensino de línguas estrangeiras, tem por principal objetivo apresentar uma proposta de inserção do dicionário semibilíngüe na tipologia de dicionários. Para isso, parte da verificação de três hipóteses: 1) trata-se de um novo tipo de dicionário, alternativo ao bilíngüe e ao monolíngüe; 2) trata-se de um sucedâneo do dicionário bilíngüe; 3) trata-se de um subtipo do dicionário bilíngüe. Percorrendo o caminho dos principais pesquisadores na área da Metalexicografia Pedagógica e analisando contrastivamente os dicionários bilíngüe e semibilíngüe, são reunidos subsídios que levam à conclusão de que o semibilíngüe é um subtipo do dicionário bilíngüe. O trabalho propõe, também, uma nova denominação para o dicionário semibilíngüe - "dicionário bilíngüe pedagógico" -, mostrando por que a atual terminologia não é a mais adequada. / Abstract: From the second half of last century, there is an increasing effort in lexicographic projects to satisfy learners’ needs, notably foreign languages learners. In this context, several researches embody a new field of investigation that may be called Pedagogical Metalexicography. Among the pedagogical lexicographic innovations, the very first bilingual one seems to be the semi-bilingual dictionary. As the typological classification of this kind of dictionary is still under discussion, this work presents a proposal for it. Three hypothesis are verified: 1) semi-bilingual is a new type of dictionary, alternative to the bilingual and monolingual ones; 2) it is a substitute for the bilingual dictionary; 3) it is a subtype of bilingual dictionary. Following the path of the more representative researchers in Pedagogical Metalexicography, and contrasting bilingual dictionary with the semi-bilingual one, this work concludes that semi-bilingual is a subtype of the bilingual dictionary. Finally, it is also proposed and justified a new denomination for semi-bilingual dictionary - "pedagogical bilingual dictionary". / Mestre

No nosso caso, pretende-se descrever os passos da base teórica para a elaboração de um dicionário bilíngue de verbos português-alemão tendo o português como língua de partida e o alemão como língua de chegada. O objetivo mais geral é apresentar um conjunto de princípios que devem orientar na organização de um dicionário bilíngue. O objetivo mais específico é conseguir um modelo para a montagem de um dicionário gramatical de verbos português-alemão. A proposta é organizar um dicionário de língua, sincrônico e portanto um dicionário de usos. É um dicionário que leva em conta a frequência relativa dos itens selecionados e é preferencialmente um dicionário de equivalências lexicais. Optou-se por uma teoria gramatical que permite a descrição prévia do item - o verbo - na língua de partida buscando as correspondentes construções na língua de chegada - o alemão. Organizou-se a macroestrutura desse dicionário pelo critério de ocorrências num corpus sediado no Laboratório de Lexicografia da Faculdade de Ciências e Letras - UNESP - Campus de Araraquara que no momento (2009) conta com duzentos milhões de ocorrências de palavras em textos escritos no português do Brasil. Os esquemas descritivos se assentam numa teoria gramatical específica - a valência verbal, que se torna, então, a responsável pela regularidade na organização dos verbetes. / Abstract: Bilingual dictionaries are one of the main pedagogical instruments for the study of a foreign language. This thesis seeks to describe the steps of the theoretical basis for the elaboration of a bilingual dictionary of Portuguese-German verbs, with Portuguese as the source language and German as the destination language. The more general objective is to present a set of principles that should guide the organization of a bilingual dictionary. The more specific objective, in turn, is to obtain a model for setting up a grammar dictionary of Portuguese-German verbs. The proposal is to organize a synchronic language dictionary and, hence, a dictionary of usage. This dictionary takes into account the relative frequency of the selected items and is preferentially a dictionary of lexical equivalence. A grammatical theory was chosen which allows for the prior description of the item - the verb - in the source language, seeking the corresponding constructions in the destination language - German. The nomenclature in this dictionary was organized according to the criterion of occurrences extracted from a corpus housed in the Laboratory of Lexicography at the Faculty of Sciences and Letters of UNESP at Araraquara, which currently (2009) contains two hundred million occurrences of words in texts written in Portuguese in Brazil. The descriptive schemes fit into a specific grammatical theory, i.e., verbal valency, which is thus responsible for the regularity of the organization of the entries. / Doutor

Orientador: Lídia Almeida Barros / Banca: Maria Emília Chanut / Banca: Paola Baccin / Resumo: Este trabalho pretende dar uma contribuição ao trabalho dos tradutores públicos e intérpretes comerciais por meio da elaboração de uma proposta de modelo de dicionário bilíngue português- francês/ francês-português de termos de estatutos sociais. Esta pesquisa se situa no campo da Terminologia, mais especificamente da Terminologia Bilíngue, e, para realizá-la, utilizamos um córpus comparável constituído por três córpus: (CTTJ - conjunto de textos (estatutos sociais) traduzidos do francês para o português sob a forma juramentada; CTOP - conjunto de textos (estatutos sociais) originalmente escritos em português; CTOF - conjunto de textos (estatutos sociais) originalmente escritos em francês). Desses córpus retiramos os termos a serem estudados, bem como seus respectivos dados. Esses foram inseridos em fichas eletrônicas de uma base de dados que criamos com o auxílio do aplicativo Microsoft Access. Após o registro das informações terminológicas, estabelecemos as equivalências portuguêsfrancês com a ajuda de uma bibliografia de apoio nas duas línguas, composta por dicionários jurídicos, econômicos e comerciais e por documentos legais. Para tanto, procedemos a uma análise comparativa do conteúdo semântico-conceptual dos candidatos a equivalentes e do contexto de uso das unidades terminológicas levantadas nas duas línguas. Na busca pelas equivalências, encontramos principalmente equivalentes totais, fato que demonstra a proximidade dos estatutos sociais e dos sistemas jurídicos brasileiro e francês, já que, como constatamos na pesquisa, os termos desse tipo de documento são principalmente de origem jurídica. Em seguida, realizamos um estudo teórico básico com o fim de identificarmos as principais necessidades dos tradutores no que concerne aos dicionários bilíngues. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This work aims at contributing to the sworn translators' work by developing a proposal of model of bilingual dictionary Portuguese-French/ French-Portuguese of terms of by laws. This research takes place in the field of Terminology, specifically Bilingual Terminology, and, in order to develop it, we used a comparable corpus, consisting of three corpus: (CTTJ - set of texts (by laws) translated from French to Portuguese under sworn translation; CTOP - set of texts (by laws) originally written in Portuguese; CTOF - set of texts (by laws) originally written in French). From this corpus we extracted the terms to be studied and its data, which were entered in electronics records of a database we created with the help of Microsoft Access application. After storing the terminological information, we established the equivalences Portuguese-French with the help of the support bibliography in both languages, composed by juridical, economical e commercial dictionaries, besides of legal documents. For that, we developed a comparative analysis of the semantic-conceptual content of the equivalents applicants and of the use context of the terminological units in both languages. During the search for the equivalences, we found mainly total equivalents, fact that show us the proximity between Brazilian and French by laws and juridical systems, since we found out during the research that the terms of this kind of document come mainly from juridical source. Next, we developed a basic theoretical study to identify the sworn translators' primary needs in relation to the bilingual dictionary. Based on this study, we developed our proposal of model of bilingual dictionary Portuguese-French of terms of by laws, which can be useful, in the future, for the sworn translators' work.
