Geological and geophysical characterization of accretionary and collisional systems : the Central Asian Orogenic Belt and the Bohemian Massif / Caractérisation géologique et géophysique de système d’accrétion et de collision : application à la ceinture orogénique d’Asie centrale et au Massif de Bohême

Guy, Alexandra 14 December 2012 (has links)
Large-scale accretionary and collisional crustal orogenic architecture is studied combining structural geology, lithostratigraphy, geochronology and magmatic petrology with gravity, magnetic and seismic data. This multidisciplinary approach allows characterizing the structure and composition of the orogenic crust in two accretionary-collisional systems. The Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB) constituting one third of the Asia continent and the Bohemian Massif are two Palaeozoic orogens formed by accretion followed by collision. It is proposed that the CAOB formed by successive Paleozoic accretion of oceanic and continental fragments followed by a late Palaeozoic to early Mesozoic N-S convergence of North Chinese and Siberian Cratons. The comparison between the potential fields and the geological data reveals an incorrect compartmentalization into different lithostratigraphic terranes. In contrast to geology the geophysical approach allows the analysis of the crustal structures on a complete thickness of crustal column. This thesis presents a compilation of geological data combined with unique gravity and magnetic results which are integrated into a preliminary model for the architecture of the continental crust. Conversely, an important collection of complementary data is available for the Bohemian Massif, allow more precise 3D geophysical forward modeling. In this area, geophysical data reveal the occurrence of an allochtonous lower crustal layer with a felsic composition. This indicates that the Variscan orogenic crust actually resulted from the accretion of contrasted crustal fragments.

Stresové faktory působící na operátory tísňové linky 112 a jejich prevence na vybraných pracovištích / Stress factors affecting operators of emergency call 112 and their prevention at chosen workplaces

DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Kamila January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is dealing with the issues of stress and stress factors found at the 112 emergency call operators. Citizens call the emergency number 112 in case of notification of an extraordinary situation. However, in some cases the emergency call is being misused. The call is then marked as spiteful. The ECC runs in a 24-hour shift operation and the operators change after a 12-hour shift. Each new operator is accepted in the service based on his knowledge, physical, health and above all psychological examination. He is obliged to attend the entrance training and courses in lenght of overall nine weeks. There he gets to know the issues of FRS CR, operational management and he has to pass a language course as well. It is very psychologically demanding for every operator to receive emergency calls. The operator needs to be able to listen, empathize and react adequatly. He deals with calls concerning accidents, injuries, foreigners and spiteful calls. An operator should recognize its gravity and devote to its resolution. However, he has his own personal life along with its joys and problems. It is vital that he is able to separate issues of his work and those of personal nature. This and many other indicators may cause stress reactions to the operator. Many psychologists have attempted to define stress. Each has, however, a different opinion and it is complicated to reach a an accurate definition. One thing is for sure - and that is stress shows itself in different ways and everyone is affected by it differently. In case of an emergency call operator, the stress factors are mainly time to execute the call, character of the notification, as well as the working group, personal life and emotional challenge. Multiple questions have been formulated for this thesis. Both current and former emergency call operators in Ceske Budejovice have been asked these question, which were then processed. The questions were divided into five fields concerning the interviewees' characteristics, collective and family, prevention a one last field was designated for the former operators. The interviews were anonymous, recorded and summarized. Two objectives were defined for this thesis: an analysis of the stressful situations of the emergency call operators and also of the impulses causing the formation of the stress factors, aw well as drafting a solution to stressful situations, possibility of the psycho-training, motivation and relaxation. The answer to the research question 'Which stress factors restrict the operators while performing service and how do they come into being' was determined from the carried-out interviews. There are situations which can make the operators insecure, such as a suicidal call, or when the call is unintelligible, or in case the incident cannot be correctly and quickly localized. Another problem can be the spiteful calls, in which case the telephone just rings and the caller hangs up right away. Another answer has also been extracted from the respondents: 'Which possibilities to handle stress do the operators have, which way to get rid of stress is satisfactory for them'. In the area of FRS of the South Bohemian Region there is a sports ground for every member to use. They would gladly welcome an opportunity to visit the firefighters's intervention in person. They are interested in psychology education, working with a suicidal call and periodic language courses. There are some proposals and ways to prevent stress of the 112 emergency call operators stated in the conclusion of the thesis. The system of training, possibilities to exchange workplaces, periodic language courses and interviews with the regional psychologist of the FRS of the South Bohemian Region. There are relaxation methods introduced, which would enable the operators to reduce stress and thus prevent illnesses, psychic exhaustion and eventually even a burnout. The results of this thesis can be used for all 112 EECs in the Czech republic.

Vliv strategického plánování na rozvoj obcí a regionů / The Impact of Strategic Planning on Development of Municipality and Region

SLÁDKOVÁ, Lucie January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is dealed with the quantification of the effects of strategic planning for the development of municipalities and regions. The first part includes the theoretical basis of the issue, especially the definition of basic concepts such as regional development, regional policy, a region, the indicators of regional development and strategic planning. In the practical part are analyzed strategic planning through the Program of the South Bohemian and Pilsen region and their strategies with the help of studying the matter. Using indicators of regional development will be quantified impact of strategic planning for the development of municipalities and regions. Since there is no uniform method of measuring methods of strategic planning, the conclusion will be proposed uniform method of measuring the impact of strategic planning for the development of municipalities and regions.

Uhlíková stopa jihočeských domácností / The carbon footprint of households in South Bohemia

VOŠTOVÁ, Marie January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with carbon footprint of households in South Bohemia, namely greenhouse gas emissions associated with the ordinary activities of each of us. The main objective of this thesis is to calculate the carbon footprint of households in the South Bohemia Region. The partial aim is then to assess which of the monitored components has the largest share of the total carbon footprint. These components are heating, electricity, cars, public transport, flying and food. Another partial objective is to compare the results in sociodemographic groups, which are residence, gender, education, age and income per person. The theoretical part explains the concepts such as global warming, sustainable development, ecological footprint, carbon footprint, and three already realized research on carbon footprint. The practical part describes the data acquisition, GILDED project, which was the inspiration for this thesis and method for calculating the carbon footprint. The main part consists of evaluating the calculated results, not overall carbon footprint, but also comparisons within categories of residence, gender, education, age, and income per person. The thesis finishes with the summary, which summarizes the most important results.

Venkovští Židé v prózách Vojtěcha Rakouse / Rural Czech Jews in Vojtěch Rakous's Short Stories

Kuřeová, Petra January 2018 (has links)
The thesis deals with the image of rural Jewish society in the fictional world of proses of Vojtěch Rakous, a Czech Jewish author publishing at the turn of the 20th century. Its aim is to explore the "new type of Jew" that enriched Czech literature, and to characterise several prominent types of Jews' literary characters in Rakous's stories. It focuses on the issue of the Jewish minority's coexistence with the mainstream society, and on the author's original depiction of rural Jewish characters. It also deals with the specific quality of the author's poetics (Rakous as an autodidact, autobiographic nature, author's relation to his own Jewishness, idyllic character of the depicted world, the genre of humorous short story). The thesis also contains a brief outline of the types of Jews' literary characters in Czech literature of the period in question. Considering Rakous's ties to the Czech Jewish movement, the thesis addresses this context as well.

Mocenské kompetence krále v představách českých stavů. Okolnosti a tvůrci Vladislavského zřízení zemského a register archivu České koruny / The King's Power Competence in the concept of Estates of Bohemia. Circumstances and creators of the Land Constitution of Wladislaw II. and the Registers of Archive of the Crown of Bohemia

Kulhánková, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
After Jagiellonian dynasty ascended to the throne of Bohemia and especially at the time of permanent absence of the King in the land, the political ambitions of the estates of Bohemia, particularly the lords and knights, intensified. The estates strived, among other things, for codification of the land constitution which they succeeded in the beginning of the 16th century when the King issued the so-called Land Constitution of Vladislaus II. (Vladislavské zřízení zemské). At the same time, the estates also made an inventory of archives of the Crown deposited at Karlštejn castle, which is known as the Matouš of Chlumčany's Registry of Ten Coffers (Registrum desíti truhlic). These documents prove the power of bohemian nobility, who attempted to consolidate their position in judicial and administrational system of the country. At the same time they represented themselves as co-responsible political unit, alongside the King, which works for the good of the Kingdom and the whole Lands of the Bohemian Crown. My diploma thesis pursues the gradual growth of power of the bohemian nobility, who wanted to consolidate their position not only at the expense of royal cities, but also of the power of the King himself. The accent is mainly given to the most influential persons or aristocratic groups who...
