Mateřská škola, Brno - Lesná / Kindergarten, Brno - Lesná

Račan, Václav January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with a project documentation of the building kindergartens in Brno, on the estate Lesná. The design and architectural design of the building is based on a combination of mutually intersecting blocks, while in the spatial division of the building is put great emphasis on simple rectangular shapes. Building facade is completed unusual modifications that are in perfect harmony, and also contrast with the overall shape design construction. Business can complete single-storey building comprising two independent departments divided into four functional zones: preschool education, social, administrative and economic. Specializations in appropriate field are a part of the project.

Měření emisivity vlhkých a suchých povrchů / Measuring of emissivity of wet and dry surfaces

Brzobohatý, Tomáš January 2012 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to create summary of emissivity of wet surfaces, emissivity of rime surfaces and emissivity of dry surfaces. The next objective is to create materials for termovision measurement and find the use for this materials for practice. Theoretical part of thesis deals with a theory of ways of heat transfer (radiation mainly), description of emisivity concept, description of emisivity finding ways and the show emissivity of mesuared materials from avaible sources for working hypothesis. Emissivity of dry, wet and rime samples were measured as the experimental part of thesis. Experimental part of thesis consist of experiment description, working hypothesis, measuring instruments and measuring area description, measuring proces description and presentation of measured results. Obtained dependences are benefits for termovision measurent, energy evaluation and the thermal state microclimate simulations.

Využití nevyhořívajících lehčiv pro lehčení cihlářského střepu / Incombustible ligtweighting agents for brick body

Suk, Vojtěch January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibility of reducing the density of the brick body using the chemical additive Vuppor for different types of soil, which are used for the production of thermal insulating products such as type THERM. Describes the availability of suitable additives (starch, carboxymethylcelullose, acrylic dispersion) that are capable of combining with the additive Vuppor to improve the observation properties.

Vliv surovin na vzduchovou neprůzvučnost cihlářského střepu / The Effect of Raw Materials on Sound Insulation of Brick Body

Bosák, Filip January 2017 (has links)
Diploma thesis is concerned with opportunities of increase sound isolution index for bricks. In theoretical part is summary of present knowledge about acoustic properties ceramic body field and theoretical calculations and measuring sound insulation as well as. Practically part is divided on apply and basic research. Under apply research is experiment, that considers impact quantity of raw materials using at brick factory in the Holice on the most significant technological properties of plastic paste and brick body, additionaly with the considering chances of increase sound insulation index. In basic research is experiment, that evaluates impact common use domestic brick´s raw materials on sound insulation. Sound insulation is evaluated indirectly by transsmision rate of ultrasound in a both cases.

Matériaux bioinspirés : Optimisation du comportement mécanique en utilisant la méthode des éléments discrets / Bioinspired materials : Optimization of the mechanical behavior using Discrete Element Method

Radi, Kaoutar 12 November 2019 (has links)
Natural materials such as bone and the nacre of some seashells are made of relatively weak building blocks and yet often exhibit remarkable combinations of stiffness, strength, and toughness. Such performances are due in large part to their brick and mortar architectures. Many efforts are devoted to translate these design principles into synthetic materials. However, much of the progress is based on trial-and-error approaches, which are time consuming and do not guarantee that an optimum is achieved.Modeling is an appealing alternative to guide the design and processing routes of such materials. In this work, we develop a numerical model based on Discrete Element Method (DEM) to understand the reinforcement mechanisms and optimize the mechanical properties of nacre-like materials based on their microstructural parameters. The model follows the crack propagation, accounts for different reinforcement mechanisms, and quantitatively assess stiffness, strength, and toughness. An interesting approach, based on EBSD imaging, is presented to model the real material and its different microstructural variations. Results are then combined to provide design guidelines for synthetic brick-and-mortar composites comprising with only brittle constituents.
