This selective investigation of contemporary solo violoncello works written between 1980 and 2010 consists of 1075 works, listed in alphabetical order of country and in alphabetical order of composers of each relevant country. Due to the extensive nature of this field, this research only includes works by composers from eight European countries (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom), as well as Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa. In my considered opinion, the European countries that have been selected are those with a very high musical culture and where composers are very active in this field. The musical life of the United States of America is so huge that it deserves a study of its own. Relevant information of each entry are added, including the approximate duration of each piece, the dedicatee, dates of first performances, recordings and addresses of websites of individual composers. The catalogue is followed by two appendices: one that lists the dedicatee in alphabetical order and the other that lists the works by their approximate duration. The study did not aim to examine the qualitative merits of every piece listed. The catalogue only includes original works for solo violoncello, and music exclusively written for beginner and intermediate levels has not been included. Works written for violoncello and piano, violoncello and orchestra and an amplified violoncello together with tape or electronic accompaniment are not included in this catalogue. Den här studien undersöker förhållandena för att inkludera bloggar i svenska folkbibliotekens kataloger. Varför förvärvas bloggar som blivit böcker, men inte bloggarna själva? Studien söker förståelse för och diskuterar de hinder och möjligheter som påverkar en inkludering av bloggar i katalogerna. Den teoretiska basen består av ett postmodernt perspektiv på biblioteken, och en jämförelse mellan olika sätt att se på folkbibliotekens uppdrag. Studien använder en blandad metod och kombinerar djupare intervjuer för att få insikt i folkbiblioteken, med en enkätstudie riktad till svenska folkbibliotekarier. Frågorna handlade om attityder gentemot bibliotekens uppdrag, bloggen som medieformat, och hur en inkludering av bloggar i bibliotekskatalogen skulle påverka biblioteket idag och i framtiden. Studien fann att bloggens materialitet medför hinder som behöver överbryggas för att en inkludering ska vara möjlig, och uppdragen folkbibliotekarierna håller viktiga gynnar en inkludering av bloggar.

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using 3D modeling in electronic commerce. It describes the theoretical basis and methods of 3D modeling, which is used. Includes description of the current state in electronic presentation, the description of the advantages and disadvantages these procedures, as well as practical implementation of 3D model.

Diploma thesis is focused on identifiers of vehicles and their parts. The thesis gives an overview about available identifiers situated on the vecihles. Further more the thesis deal with potentional forgery and altering of identifiers and as a next shows potentional ways how to detect a manipulation with them. Practipal part of thesis includes a proposal of methodology for checking vehicles based on identifiers. There was also created a cathalogue of the Skoda vehicles. It gives an overview of identifiers for selected vehicles of the brand Skoda.

A B S T R A C T ( E N G L I S H ) Classification and cataloguing of folk narrative has been one of the important topics of folklore comparative studies. The present thesis examines the topic from the theoretical and methodological point of view in its first part and from the appliqued point of view in its second part. The introduction of the theoretical part describes the genre of folk legend on the basis of textual (content, form, structure) and contextual (belief, function, distribution) criteria. Next chapter pursues an analysis of classificatory systems and catalogues of folk narrative of the whole world. The chapter is divided into two main groups according to typological or structural principles. We focus on the development of international folktale catalogue of Aarne-Thompson(-Uther) and its influence, especially when encountered with catalogues of Non-European narratives. We also deal with Czech and Slovak works in cataloguing and our main concern is cataloguing of European folk legends. The content of the following chapter is an overview and evaluation of sources selected as a material for our catalogue. The aim of my thesis is to create a model of information system for internet stores support. Together with creating this model I will also analyse the possible use of new technologies such as AJAX or communication with the help of XML. The final work will consist of two applications, where first is a catalogue of products (goods) and the second is an internet store. The main application will provide services for this store.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a catalog of negatives from the photo archive of ethnographer Antonín Václavík, which is located in the archives of the Museum of Southeast Moravia in Zlín. The introduction to the catalog mentions the biography of Antonín Václavík and his contribution to czech ethnography. Photographic material, its history and characteristics with regard to the processed material are also discussed here. The thesis also includes a dictionary of technical terms and indexes.

The contaminated book as a cultural asset is presented from three perspectives: philosophy, microbiology and cultural studies including medieval studies. The prejudice of the microbe as the enemy of the collection is questioned. Instead, the microbe is brought to the fore and made contextually visible as a book-biographical sign: traces on the book, including microbial ones, can bear witness to fire, flood, evacuation, and historical epidemics. For this witnessing, different readings of 'world' and of 'dead/living' must be considered, working toward a theory of things. It is based on studies of objects in medieval anthologies in the holdings of the Leipzig University Library, which have also been studied using microbiological and molecular biological methods at the DSMZ-German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures in Braunschweig. For the determination of the book biographies, both collections form mutual references. A new readability of the 'world as a book' is shown, which is made readable through its DNA, but also through its cultivation needs. With the idea of the book as habitat, a new view of the relationship between cultural property and microbe is opened - against destructive contamination towards the microbe as innovation potential for collections.

There exist two assumptions that may well be connected. The first is that in an increasingly global and technological world, language barriers have fallen. Online machine translation services are monetarily free for everyone to use. So why is working with multilingual material so difficult in the library context? The second assumption is that the library catalogue is a technical fossil that has long been surpassed by the search and retrieval performance of the World Wide Web. Isn't the library catalogue simply a technical necessity of little interest? This study addresses the challenges and opportunities of the multilingual Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) as a key interface between librarians and end-users. The multilingual OPAC as interface definesaccess (for whom, to what, where). The competences, technology, and standards that come into play in an OPAC to access library references irrespective of the query language are investigated. The study combines a case study looking at the Swedish library context, its multilingual acquisition, and cataloguing workflows, with an evaluation of three selected OPACs to assess if and to which extent an OPAC can perform across languages.
