Centrum för lättläst : Ur ett domänanalytiskt perspektiv / Centrum för Lättläst : From a Domain Analytical Perspective

<p>The aim of this two years master thesis in Library and information science is to study the foundation <em>Centrum för lättläst</em> and its work regarding information use with focus on information structures and information needs. The aim is also to examine how <em>Centrum för lättläst</em> cooperate with Swedish libraries to promote the work concerning people with reading disabilities. This master thesis applies a domain analytic theory and method inspired by Birger Hjørland. The domain analysis is confined to examine ontology, epistemology, sociology, empirical user studies, document and genre studies and studies of structures and institutions in scientific communication. The main source material consists of information from the homepage of <em>Centrum för lättläst</em>. The result of the domain analysis describes the ontology which implies to produce easy-to-read texts. The epistemology constitutes of regulations from the Swedish government regarding the work with easy-to-read literacy. The sociology represents several organizations and authorities connected to easy-to-read literacy. The domain analysis has also identified <em>Centrum för lättläst’s</em> target groups and their information needs which are varying. The study present numerous of strategies composed by <em>Centrum för lättläst</em> to satisfy the information needs of the target groups. Furthermore; the domain analysis has distinguished the information resources <em>Centrum för lättläst</em> use to distribute and make information accessible which are represented by documents within the domain. The result also shows that <em>Centrum för lättläst’s</em> work with information use includes important operators in the domain which contributes to endorse the information needs of the targets groups. Finally the domain analysis has examined the collaboration between <em>Centrum för lättläst</em> and libraries in Sweden, where the result illustrate procedures made by <em>Centrum för lättläst </em>in order to assist libraries in their work with easy-to-read literacy and the target groups.</p>

The diploma thesis "Vliv palce nohy na stabilitu stoje a chůze" is focused on the function of hallux at stance and through the gait cycle and particularly to halluxes influence on stability of the stated motor stereotypes. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge gained through literature research on anatomy and kinesiology of hallux. It also contains analysis of gait cycle and muscle coordination through it with emphasis upon activity of foot and function of hallux muscles. The practical part attempts to objectivize changes in stability and changes of loading of foot with instrumental examination. Force plate Balance Master® and GaitPlatform FDM were used for the measurements. On the force plate the parametres of movement of the centre of mass (COM, COG) and maintenance of stability while standing were compared. The subject of my Diploma´s thesis was to design of mutifunction wine house in Brno, which is located in area historically associated with the cultivation of wine. Designed building will be used for the presentation of wine from regional winemakers, it will serve to purchase and consume. There will be a conference center with accomodation too. The moravian wine center should represent the Moravian wine region and winemaking culture in Moravian. Operation of the building is designed in accordance with sustainable development. The Diplomaś thesis contains architectural study accompanying the report, reviewed the construction program and thermal technical assessment of selected structures and structural details.

The diploma thesis is elaborated as an architectural study on the theme of Nikolsburg Mikulov Winery. Main idea of this project is to create a new hotel building combined with the production of wine so it would naturally fit the given landscape and so it wouldn’t disturb its natural character. This building was also designed so it has extraordinary views of the whole wine area of Mikulov. Primary function of the building is accommodation in a 4-star hotel rooms and a clean production of wine, which includes maturing, bottling and labeling. There is also a restaurant with a terrace, with beautiful views of the countryside and significant landmarks, a wine bar, tasting salon with immediate a wine cellar designed for wine maturing and also last but not least a wellness center with sauna world.

Diploma thesis Ponava Centre is solving the architectonic study of Leisure centre. Area is situated in locality Ponava – Brno, Královo Pole. Leisure centre should provide its services to wide spectrum of visitors. Those activities does not have to be undertaken just in the building itself, but the idea to develop and utilize for those purposes the public space around it is suggesting itself. The centre is offering the activities for people of all age categories. It can provide the leisure function and also both educational and commercial function. In this spirit the inner space of the object is divided. The basic principle is to group together the three masses according to their most important functions, which are located in the object.

This master thesis deals with the construction of multi-functional machining centre. The theoretical part describes the history of lathes, trends in production of lathes and individual machine parts. The practical part is the structural design of the spindle with positioning in the C axis, the second spindle (including drive in Z axis) and the turret (including drive in the X and Z axis). A 3-D model of the entire lathe assembly modeled in Autodesk Inventor 2010 is also included.

The Diploma thesis deals with the design solution of multi-functional machining centre, especially with one of its parts – the design of the slide ram and vertical feed incl. the choice of convenient tool heads for the slide ram. The introducing part deals with the numerically controlled machines and centres generally, especially with the portal-type ones. It contains description of individual machine parts including examples of accessories from product plans of domestic and foreign producers. The second part of the Diploma thesis contains calculations and design solution of the slide ram and feed including the choice of the most suitable accessories applicable for this purpose. In the final phase the model of the slide ram has been introduced in the imersion virtual reality and integrated in the complete machine design. The Diploma thesis has been elaborated using the relevant technical literature.

My diploma thesis deals with newly-built cultural and educational centre in the city of Velké Bílovice. The project is conducted at the level of documentation for construction. Building has the Z-shaped construction plan and contains a basement with two common floors. Cultural and educational centre is based on the basement walls of concrete formwork with concrete grout. The basement masonry is followed by concrete prefabricated skeleton with a lining of ceramic fittings of therm type. Horizontal structures are made of prestressed concrete panels Spiroll. The roof is flat with extensive greenery. The main entrance is oriented to the southwest side. Entryway to the lobby is through the hall where is access to all parts of the building. In the lobby there is a reception and main staircase with an elevator. Bar, library, reading room and an office adjoins the hall on the east side. On the west side there are sanitary facilities, dressing room and multipurpose hall. Technical facilities (including room of technology) are placed in the basement. Hall with gallery and sanitary facilities are situated in the central part of the second floor. House offices are functionally separated from the rest of the floor and located on the eastern side. There are also two lecture halls which can be combined into the one single hall on the west side of the building.

The main aim of this thesis entitled "Education Needs of Selected Organization" is the analysis of the established education system of a company, with focusing on recruitment method called assessment center and employee evaluation method called development center. The first part of the thesis contains basic characteristics of the human resources management, the tools used within the education systems and the recruitment system. The next chapters include specific descriptions of the methods assessment center and development center. The selected organization is described in the thesis including its education system and the usage of the two methods mentioned before. As an empiric part survey was being realized, its respondents were employees of the selected company who in the past were participants in assessement or development center. The target was to find out whether the employees are satisfied with the usage of the methods or not. Part of the survey was interview with human resources generalist. The main purpose of this thesis was to analyze and identify the basic terms of human resources management, education of employees and assessment and development center methods.
