This interpretative case study derives and examines the characterising features of the resource-based learning approach used in the Rhodes University Advanced Certificate in Environmental Education (ACEE), particularly in Module 1 (Environment and Environmental Issues) and Module 3 (Contemporary Environmental Issues). The study explores processes of resource-based learning through the analysis of three individual case stories of participants’ experience in adaptive use of learning support materials in different work contexts. It discusses the relationship between thematic categories related to participants’ experience of assignment work, and course design and course implementation. This study indicates that resource-based learning processes in the ACEE involve curriculum deliberation and the use of resource packs in supporting participants’ practice. It also indicates that the ACEE’s practice-based orientation to workplace-based assignments plays an important role in supporting the adaptive use of learning support materials, encouraging lifelong learning and developing applied competence. It highlights the significance of reflexive narration of practice in improving course participants’ educational practice. A diagrammatic representation of the unfolding and intermeshed characterising features of resource-based learning is presented. The study argues that resource-based learning in the ACEE appears to create possibilities for the course participants to become scaffolders and co-constructors of their own learning. It notes that resource-based learning can enable course participants to take ownership of their educational and workplace needs, and to develop skills and competences necessary to respond to environmental issues and risks in southern Africa. This study examines the potential that the reflexive narration of practice has in supporting course participants to engage in better ways of doing things in their workplace-based contexts. This study provides some recommendations to enhance the Advanced Certificate in Environmental Education as well as some ‘fuzzy generalisations’ that might guide the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Regional Environmental Education Programme (REEP) in the development and adaptation of professional development courses in southern Africa.

The aim of the thesis was to describe and analyse the problem of "švarcsystém" from the legal and financial aspects. "Švarcsystém" is used by a lot of employers in the Czech Republic. The reason for making contracts based on Commercial Code is simple. According to the tax system and the system of health and social insurance it is more beneficial for an employer than making contracts based on Labour Code. In this thesis tax consequences are analysed. There is assessed type of solutions of the "švarcsystém".

It is also evident the spread of social responsibility in organizations, regardless of scope involved. The institutionalization of the social responsibility movement is arising out of entities that provide tools to demonstrate socially responsible actions and their practitioners. However, several studies indicate that the concept of this theme shows divergence in several respects, indicating a process still in elaboration. In these perspectives, this research aims to study the diffusion of social responsibility through the Certificate of Social Responsibility of Mato Grosso. To identify the main components comprised by the speech shown in the certificate, this research is bolstered in the study of Law 7687, in the Committee set up by it, the diagnosis of the participants, in the analysis of social reports required, in presentations at seminars and in interviews and documentary research. The main results show that the Certificate of Social Responsibility of Mato Grosso has a strategic approach and that is supported by the social report tool. As the stakeholders are prioritized employees, the community and the environment. There is no concept laid out by the Joint Commission, to issue involving just limitations. Therefore, it uses the discourse of the participating organizations for the dissemination of the theme. Finally, to receive the certificate, the organization needs to deliver the social report and the declaration. Thus, the institution is considered socially responsible / No universo organizacional, as ações desenvolvidas demonstram-se cada vez mais planejadas, porque os reflexos podem repercutir tanto no ambiente interno como na sociedade e no meio ambiente. Também é evidente a propagação da responsabilidade social nas organizações, independente do escopo envolvido. A institucionalização do movimento de responsabilidade social ocorre advinda de entidades que proporcionam ferramentas capazes de evidenciar ações socialmente responsáveis e seus respectivos praticantes. Contudo, diversos estudos indicam que o conceito deste tema demonstra-se divergente em vários aspectos, indicando um processo em formação. Nestas perspectivas, esta pesquisa se propõe a estudar a difusão da responsabilidade social através do Certificado de Responsabilidade Social de Mato Grosso. Para identificar quais os principais elementos compreendidos pelo discurso manifestado no Certificado, esta pesquisa amparou-se no estudo da Lei 7.687, na Comissão Mista instituída por ela, no diagnóstico das organizações participantes, nas análises dos balanços sociais exigidos delas, nas apresentações em seminários, em entrevistas e pesquisa documental. Os principais resultados obtidos demonstram que o Certificado de Responsabilidade Social de Mato Grosso tem uma abordagem estratégica e que está sustentado pela ferramenta balanço social. Os stakeholders priorizados são os funcionários, a comunidade e o meio ambiente. Não há conceituação apresentada pela Comissão Mista ao tema envolvido, apenas delimitações. Por isso, utiliza-se do discurso das organizações participantes para a difusão do tema. Finalmente, para receber o Certificado, a organização necessita entregar o balanço social e a declaração. Assim, a instituição é considerada socialmente responsável.

The observation of how the terms behave in the construction of meanings in texts of different genres and their interpretation effects are also widespread themes among semantic research. In this work we will discuss about the meaning of the relations of meaning and their sense of purpose in a specific genre. The relations that we will investigate are semantic nexus or semantic links, as proposed by Chierchia (2003), which are respectively: entailment, semantic equivalence, contradictoriness and contrariness. The genre we chose for our analysis is the warranty certificate and the choice of this genre was made because it is part of the injunctive or instructional texts group that, in our opinion, has characteristics that favor the sampling of semantic nexus. We will analyze how the semantic nexus are used to restrict or cover the possibilities of interpretation in the warranty certificates. The corpus of this research has 22 (twenty two) copies of warranty certificates from different segments and we decided to choose certificates from separate lines to constitute an overview of the genre. The collection of the texts took place through the internet, without using any particular methodology of choice, only we pay attention to seek warranty certificates of diverse products. We seek in this research instigate reflection on the meaning relations between sentences and observance of these in instructional texts that we have contact in daily life and that, for many times, let go unnoticed its contents. The understanding of the semantic nexus can offer us tools to better read texts of this type. / O estudo das relações de significado entre sentenças é um campo bastante discutido e pesquisado nos estudos linguísticos. A observação de como se comportam os termos na construção de significados em textos de diversos gêneros e seus efeitos de interpretação também são temas muito difundidos entre as pesquisas das semânticas. Nesta produção discutiremos sobre as relações de significado e seus efeitos de sentido em um gênero específico. As relações que investigaremos são os nexos semânticos ou nexos de significado, como proposto por Chierchia (2003) que são respectivamente: acarretamento, equivalência semântica, contraditoriedade e contrariedade. O gênero que escolhemos para nossa análise é o certificado de garantia e a escolha de tal gênero se deu pelo fato deste fazer parte do grupo de textos injuntivos ou instrucionais que, a nosso ver, possui características que favorecem a amostragem dos nexos semânticos. Iremos analisar como os nexos semânticos são utilizados para restringir ou abranger as possibilidades de interpretação nos certificados de garantia. O corpus desta pesquisa conta com 22 (vinte e dois) exemplares de certificados de garantia de produtos de diversos segmentos e decidimos escolher certificados de produtos de linhas diversas para constituirmos um panorama sobre o gênero. A coleta dos textos se deu através da internet, sem utilizar nenhuma metodologia específica, apenas atentamos para buscar certificados de produtos variados. Buscamos nessa pesquisa instigar a reflexão sobre as relações de significado entre sentenças e a observação destas nos textos instrucionais que lidamos no dia-a-dia e que, por muitas vezes, deixamos passar despercebido o seu conteúdo. O entendimento sobre os nexos de significado pode nos oferecer ferramentas para melhor leitura de textos desse tipo.

Buscou-se mapear os procedimentos acionados pelos familiares dos mortos frente à ausência ou erro da certidão de óbito; analisar os discursos jurídicos sobre os homens e as mulheres rurais requerentes de processos judiciais para assentamento e retificação do registro de óbito; examinar os motivos apresentados pelos familiares dos mortos para requerer a retificação ou a certidão de óbito tardia. Embasamo-nos teoricamente nas noções de Michel Foucault sobre biopoder, governamentalidade e produção de verdade. Como estratégia metodológica, utilizamos a pesquisa em documentos de domínio público (processos judiciais para assentamento ou retificação da certidão de óbito), entrevistas e observação. A partir dos processos judiciais e das entrevistas, observamos que se o óbito não for realizado dentro do prazo legal dos cartórios ou o documento apresente alguma informação errada, é necessário que a família reúna uma série de provas documentais e testemunhais. As análises indicam que o assento tardio da certidão de óbito e sua retificação parecem uma das formas pelas quais as práticas judiciárias definem tipos de subjetividade, formas de saber e relações entre a população e a verdade. Entre as principais motivações da requisição do assento de óbito ou sua retificação, configura-se a necessidade de a família em obter benefícios previdenciários, principalmente o benefício de pensão por morte. Concluímos que a certidão de óbito seguindo os percursos da biopolítica regulamenta a morte e vida. Ao mesmo em tempo que esse documento atua como uma tecnologia de governo de população, ele permite que os familiares dos mortos alcancem direitos garantidos constitucionalmente / This essay aims to analyze how the judicial practices of registration and rectification of death record regulate life and death, in a region of Central Backlands of Pernambuco. It was sought to map the procedures driven by the family of the dead opposite the absence or error of the death certificate; analyze the legal discourses about rural men and women applicants of lawsuits for registration and rectification of the death record; examine the reasons given by the relatives of the dead to request the rectification or late death certificate. We theoretically supported on the concepts of Michel Foucault on biopower, governmentality and production of truth. As a methodological strategy, we used research in the public domain documents (lawsuits for registration or rectification of the death certificate), interviews and observation. From lawsuits and interviews, we observed that if the death is not made within the legal period of the register offices or the document presents some wrong information, it is necessary that the family to gathers a wide range of documentary and testimonial evidence. The analysis indicate that late register of the death certificate seems one of the ways in which judicial practices define types of subjectivity, forms of knowledge and relations between the population and the truth. Among the main reasons of requesting the register of death or its rectification configures the need of the family in obtaining social welfare benefits, especially pension benefit due to death. We conclude that the death certificate following the paths of biopolitics regulates life and death. At the same time that document acts as a technology of population control, it allows the relatives of the dead reach constitutionally guaranteed rights.

A abordagem aqui contida tem como principal base a Segurança Demonstrável; analisamos os modelos de segurança de CL-PKC, os esquemas já propostos na literatura, e suas demonstrações de segurança. Contribuímos também alguns novos resultados para a área, especificamente: o estudo da aplicabilidade do Lema da Bifurcação 'a esquemas de CL-PKC (§ 4.3.3); o algumas pequenas otimizações a esquemas seguros (§ 4.4.1); o demonstração de segurança para um esquema cuja segurança ainda era um problema em aberto (§ 4.4.2); o explicação de falhas em demonstrações de segurança de alguns esquemas (§ 4.4.4, § 4.4.5, § 4.4.7); o um ataque desconhecido a um esquema anteriormente suposto seguro (§ 4.4.4); o proposta de um modelo de segurança para agregação de assinaturas no modelo CLPKC (§ 5.4); o proposta de um novo esquema de assinaturas CL-PKC que permite agregação, assim como sua prova de segurança (§ 5.2) / Abstract: In this thesis is presented a broad view of the field of Certificateless Public Key Signatures (CL-PKC), final result of the research undertaken by the author during his masters at the Campinas State University. Our approach is strongly based on the ideas behind Provable Security; we analyze the security models for CL-PKC, all schemes available in the literature, and their security proofs.
