2011 m. Europos vyrų krepšinio čempionatas – EuroBasket2011 – buvo neeilinis renginys tiek Lietuvos, tiek visos Europos istorijoje. Pirmą kartą Senojo žemyno pirmenybėse dalyvavo 24 pajėgiausios Europos rinktinės. Rugpjūčio 31 - rugsėjo 18 dienomis dėl medalių ir kelialapių į 2012 m. Londono olimpiadą kovojo beveik 300 krepšininkų, kurių daugiau nei dešimtadalis atvyko iš stipriausios pasaulyje NBA lygos. Tokios gausybės krepšinio žvaigždžių nėra buvę nė viename Europos čempionate. Darbo objektas – Europos vyrų krepšinio čempionato organizavimas. Darbo problema: kokie Europos vyrų 2011 m. krepšinio čempionato organizavimo ypatumai yra vertintini kaip teigiami ir neigiami? Darbo tikslas – išanalizuoti Europos vyrų krepšinio čempionato (toliau - EuroBasket2011) organizavimo ypatumus. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti sporto renginių organizavimo ypatumus. 2. Atlikti EuroBasket2011 organizavimo situacijos analizę. 3. Palyginti EuroBasket2011 organizavimo ypatumus su kitose šalyse vykusiais Europos vyrų krepšinio čempionatais. 4. Įvertinti Europos vyrų krepšinio čempionato organizavimą. Darbo metodai: 1. mokslinės literatūros šaltinių analizė; 2. anketinė apklausa; 3. ekspertiniai interviu; 4. aprašomoji statistinė duomenų analizė Darbo išvados. First time in the history there were 24 high qualification European basketball teams in the European championship. There were almost 300 professional basketball players who were fighting because of medals and permission to London Olympian games. The object of the paper – the organization of European Men‘s Basketball championship. Problem of the paper: what features of European men`s basketball championship organization can be evaluated as positive and negative? The goal of the paper – to analyze the specific organizational features of European Men‘s Basketball (hereinafter – EuroBasket2011) championship. The tasks of the paper: 1.
