O estudo da gestão da informação em Bibliotecas Universitárias tem permitido conhecer a prática do processo de estruturação e funcionamento dos serviços ligados à biblioteca, quanto à qualidade, etapas e metodologias relacionadas. Estudar a gestão da informação se mostra crucial para o sucesso dos sistemas da informação, tendo em vista a possibilidade de atuação do Bibliotecário Gestor em auditar e realizar consultorias, sendo fundamental para que os sistemas disponibilizem as informações aos seus usuários reais e poteciais, além de possibilitar a melhoria contínua dos sistemas. Dentro desse contexto, o presente trabalho tem o propósito de analisar, com base nas diretrizes para auditoria de sistemas de gestão (ABNT/ISO 19011 :2018), o Sistema de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (SISTEMOTECA/UFCG) e avaliar indicadores de desempenho da biblioteca com base na ISO 11620:2014, investigando possíveis melhorias para a Gestão da Informação. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida através da aplicação de questionário aos usuários da Biblioteca Central da UFCG (alunos de graduação, mestrado e doutorado) e entrevistas com os servidores desse setor. O desenvolvimento do trabalho foi realizado com prévia autorização dos gestores da universidade e realizado de forma on-line tanto com os alunos quanto com os servidores. Com os dados coletados foram analisados os indicadores de desempenho desse setor através da "porcentagem da população-alvo atingida" e da "satisfação dos usuários". Com os resultados obtidos foi possível perceber que aproximadamente 46 % da população-alvo foi atingida e que a satisfação média dos usuários das bibliotecas da UFCG é "Bom". Além disso, foram identificadas diversas possíveis mudanças a serem realizadas tanto no SISTEMOTECA quanto nas estruturas das bibliotecas da UFCG. Dentre essas mudanças, as principais foram a necessidade de um projeto de melhoria de sinalização das estantes a fim de que os usuários não se sintam desorientados no domínio de busca; no tocante ao silêncio na biblioteca, uma das soluções sugeridas para minimizar o barulho são campanhas constantes de conscientização e uma possível readequação das posições das mesas de estudo. A biblioteca tem obtido sucesso em alcançar o seu público-alvo, mas precisa atrair quem ainda não a utilizou, por diversos motivos. Dessa maneira é necessária uma maior divulgação dos seus serviços, com ofertas e treinamentos para atrair mais usuários para que estes possam usufruir de todos os benefícios oferecidos. / The study of information management in University Libraries has allowed to know the practice of the process of structuring and functioning of services related to the library, in terms of quality, stages and related methodologies. Studying information management is crucial for the success of information systems, in view of the possibility of the library manager acting in auditing and consulting, being fundamental for the systems to make information available to their real and potential users, in addition to enable continuous improvement of systems. Within this context, the present work aims to analyze, based on the guidelines for auditing management systems (ABNT / ISO 19011: 2018), the Library System of the Federal University of Campina Grande (SISTEMOTECA / UFCG) and to evaluate the library indicators performance based on ISO 11620: 2014, investigating possible improvements for Information Management. The research was developed through the application of questionnaires to users of the UFCG library central (undergraduate, master and doctoral students) and interviews with public servants in this sector. The development of the work was carried out with prior authorization from the university's managers and carried out online with both students and servers. With the data collected, the performance indicators of this sector were analyzed through the "percentage of target population reached" and "user satisfaction". With the results obtained, it was possible to notice that approximately 46% of the target population was reached and that the average satisfaction of users of the UFCG libraries is around "Good". In addition, several possible changes were identified to be made both in the SISTEMOTECA and in the structures of the UFCG libraries. Among these changes, the main ones were the need for a project to improve shelving signage so that users do not feel disoriented in the search domain; with regard to silence in the library, one of the suggested solutions to minimize the noise is constant awareness campaigns and a possible readjustment of the positions of the study tables. The library has been successful in reaching its target audience, but it needs to attract those who have not yet used it, for several reasons. Thus, it is necessary to promote its services more widely, with offers and training to attract more users so that they can enjoy all the benefits offered.
