Zhodnocení německo-českých vztahů po podpisu Česko-německé deklarace / Analysis of the German-Czech relations since the Czech-German declaration

Burešová, Naďa January 2010 (has links)
The Czechs and Germans have been neighbours in the Central Europe since centuries. Due to the course of history, some discrepancies might be still present in the mutual Czech-German relations. To solve these historical issues, a "Czech-German declaration" was signed in 1997. The main task of this thesis is to analyse the Czech-German relations after the signature of the declaration. The German point of view is stressed while dealing with the topic. The first chapter explains the development of the Czech-German relations since founding of the Czechoslovakia in 1918 until the signature of the Czech-German declaration. The second chapter deals with the declaration itself. The third chapter refers to the detailed analysis of the Czech-German relations on both -- the bilateral and multilateral levels. On bilateral level, the political, business, cultural relations and other forms of mutual cooperation are being discussed. The cooperation between Czech Republic and Germany in the international organisations, specifically the European Union and NATO, is the main subject of the multilateral dimension of the Czech-German relations that this paper deals with.

Škopková, Pavla January 2011 (has links)
Verbal periphrases in the Spanish language and their Czech equivalents As the title suggests, the object of the thesis is verbal periphrases. In the theoretic part, we dealt with the function of verbal periphrases as a means to convey the nature of verbal action in Spanish. Moreover, we briefly explained the issue of Czech and Spanish verbal aspect. After we familiarized ourselves with the semantic and formal classification of Spanish verbal periphrases in general; taking the volume of the topic into account, we decided to dedicate ourselves in detail to a specific type of periphrasis, the periphrasis with the infinitive. In addition, we described the stylistic and regional differences of the periphrasis which express the start of action and which were covered in the practical part of the work. Furthermore, we looked at individual infinitive periphrases from the group of modal and aspectual periphrases. In this part of work, we drew from the Descriptive grammar and its terminology. Since our objective was to compare the situation in Spanish with the one in Czech, we endeavored to supplement even this theoretical part with the examples from the parallel corpus. We tried to make these examples as representative as possible. In the practical part of our work, we decided to search in corpus for Czech...

Aliyev, Hikmat January 2013 (has links)
The research scope of the given thesis is the impact of the Social Security and Tax systems on the income distribution among population in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The study is constructed on the comparative analysis of the changes in taxes, social benefits and income among different groups of the local population. The findings of the thesis propose that while reforms in social security system may stimulate positive impact on the reduction of the gap in income distribution, tax security system in Azerbaijan does not have distributive power. Consequently, in comparison with tax reduction, an increase in social benefits is proposed as a policy with higher efficiency for the Azerbaijan. Furthermore, the analysis established that initially large gap in income distribution between older and younger families may gradually be decreased as a result of policy implementations in the social security system in Azerbaijan. Another important idea developed in the given work is possibility of applying innovative investment-based social security system in Azerbaijan.

Security policy of the Czech Republic in light of the integration into the European Union

Lysina, Miroslav 03 1900 (has links)
Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited / The Czech Republic was integrated into NATO in 1999, when the process of the enlargement of the Alliance by including Central and Eastern Europe had begun, and the idea of the EU expansion was being seriously considered. These changes and the unfavorable development of the Balkans crisis created a new security environment in the region, and the necessity for a revised European security policy. Membership in the EU became a primary strategic goal of the Czech Republic.s foreign policy. How did the NATO strategy influence the Czech security policy? What was the evolution of the security environment in the Europe-Atlantic region and the NATO-EU relationship? This thesis analyzes this process and examines its experience. The Czech Republic, as one of the candidates for integration into the EU, has created a good position for its entry. This thesis also explores recent international security relations and their strategic continuities for the creation of the new policy. Since the armed forces play an important role in the national security, the work analyzes a new concept of the Czech Republic Armed Forces reform. In the last chapter the thesis tries to define possible presumptions for the new security policy and argues some possible proposals, which is its main objective. / Lieutenant Colonel, Czech Republic Army
