Uprchlická krize 2015 a politika České republiky / The 2015 Refugee crisis and politics of the Czech RepublicWoloszczuková, Kristýna January 2015 (has links)
The theses deals with the most current problem of refugees stemming from the Syrian crisis, and the consequences the migration crisis can have for stability and the overall political situation in the chosen region. Due to the fact that the Syrian crisis is felt not only in the region, the aim of this thesis is to look at the impact of subsequent migrant crisis on the EU with focus on the Czech Republic. Despite various attempts by the international community, including the EU and the Czech Republic itself, to stabilise the situation the migration crisis is not, within a short and midterm time frame, closing to an end, and it is necessary to focus on possible negative consequences it may bring. The aim of this thesis is to uncover possible political repercussions. Even though, the Czech Republic is in reality afflicted by the migration wave on a minimal scale, the main hypothesis of this thesis is that the current migration wave has an influence on its political scene. The thesis is focusing especially on extremism in the Czech public and consequently in the political scene.

Využití vokalických formantů pro rozpoznání mluvčího v přirozených forenzních nahrávkách / Using vowel formants for speaker identification in natural forensic recordingsNechanský, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
Voice comparison is one of the most frequently addressed terms in the context of forensic phonetics; however, so far experts have not been able to find a speech parameter which reliably discriminates between two speakers. Formant dynamics have brought promising results in this respect, therefore in our study using linear discriminant analysis (LDA) we tested the speaker-discriminatory potential of formant trajectories on real forensic recordings. The aim was firstly, to compare the results of LDA when formant frequencies or coefficients of quadratic and cubic fit are used as predictors and secondly, to compare the results when the analyzed classes are balanced or not regarding the number of objects. As for the predictors, all of the types demonstrated comparable classification rates, nevertheless, as LDA limits the number of predictors in relation to the class size, the quadratic fit appears to be the most efficient. Even though LDA was able to discriminate between different voices above chance, it cannot be recommended for forensic use. It delivered highly inconsistent results when the number of objects in the classes was changed; and more importantly, it significantly discriminates between objects of the same speaker. Key words: formant trajectories, voice comparison, LDA, Czech, forensic phonetics

We did research concerning a supply in the supermarkets and consumers. I found out, that a demand for tropical fruit was not very well covered and that people were demanding more variety of tropical fruit and were ready to up pay double prices for it. I compared data about consumption of tropical fruits in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. The comparison is drawn from net import of tropical fruit and net import it´s divided per capita. We proved that people in the Czech Republic were consuming fewer kilograms per capita per year than people in Germany and Austria. Annual consumption of tropical fruit in the Czech Republic grew by 7 % during the last five years, while in Germany it amounted to 0,3% and in Austria to 4,5%.
