Volný čas jako faktor působící na delikvenci mládeže / Leisure time as a determinant of juvenile delinquencyFučíková, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
This thesis, using the quantitative data, studies the correlations between delinquency of juveniles and free time. In the beginning study focuses on the definition of the core terms such as juveniles, delinquency and free time, as well as presents some of the theories in which the subsequent data analysis is based on (situational theory of Per-Olof H. Wikström, the theory of social bonds of Travis Hirschi, the common theory of criminality of Hirchi and Gottfredson, theory of procedural justice of Tom R. Tyler and the theory of institutional anomie of Steven F. Messner and Richard Rosenfeld). This thesis furthermore presents select surveys on the delinquency of juveniles. The next section contains the methodological basis such as the method of self- reported inquiries and the IRSD 3 research for data analysis. The last chapter of this thesis is reserves for the evaluation of the free-time activities of individuals without family and friends and the difference from other groups, the difference between the delinquency caused by loners and other groups and finally the profile of the loner type based on other criteria such as gender, age, morality and self- control.

Srđan Valjarević - paradox současné srbské prózy (komentovaný překlad) / Srđan Valjarević - Paradox of the Contemporary Serbian prose (commented translation)Krásová, Marta January 2016 (has links)
My thesis aims to present the Czech translation of excerpts from two novels by Srđan Valjarević, a contemporary Serbian author, and their translatological analysis. The first translational part deals with Valjarević's debut novel Leaf on a Breadcrust (1990, List nakorici hleba), the second introduces his latest work to date, Lake Como (2007, Komo). Valjarević's fiction has not been presented yet to the Czech audience by means of translation. The core of my thesis lies in two chapters: the first one is devoted to the author's biography and a comprehensive summary of his published work; the second one contains translations and commentaries of the selected excerpts.

Sémantická informace ze sítě FrameNet a možnosti jejího využití pro česká data / Semantic information from FrameNet and the possibility of its transfer to Czech dataLimburská, Adéla January 2016 (has links)
The thesis focuses on transferring FrameNet annotation from English to Czech and the possibilities of using the resulting data for automatic frame prediction in Czech. The first part, annotation transfer, has been performed in two ways. First, a parallel corpus of English sentences and their human created Czech translations (PCEDT) was used. Second, a much larger parallel corpus was created using ma- chine translation of FrameNet example sentences. This corpus was then used to transfer the annotation as well. The resulting data were partially evaluated and some of the automatically detectable errors were filtered out. Subsequently, the data were used as an input for two machine learning methods, decision trees and support vector machines. Since neither of the machine learning experiments brought impressive results, further manual correction of the data annotation was performed, which helped increase the accuracy of the prediction. However, as the accuracy reported in related papers is notably higher, the thesis also discusses dif- ferent approaches to feature selection and the possibility of further improvement of the prediction results using these methods. 1

Citátová kompozita v krásné literatuře a jejich překlad do češtiny / Phrasal compounds in fiction and their translation into CzechMitlenerová, Silvie January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyses issues of translation of phrasal compounds from English to Czech language (in fiction). All examples observed have been chosen from the database of fiction texts that is incorporated in the project InterCorp (v. 7). In particular, the thesis deals with phrasal compounds in premodifying position. The corpus analysis of Czech translation shows that phrasal compounds can be categorized in various groups, and there can also be various approaches to translation. These two sets of categories do not always necessarily overlap. The diploma thesis is based on the categorization of the translations; in each category, several examples are selected and commented upon in more detail. In Conclusion, the findings of these subchapters are summed up and the level of translation work is evaluated in general terms. In the final section, few thoughts about general recommendations for translators are formulated as well - can there be any general recommendation? Or is there a "best approach" for each individual case as it was noticeable throughout the paper? Key words: phrasal compounds, translation, corpus analysis, premodifiers

Způsoby využití základní frekvence pro identifikaci mluvčích / Ways of exploiting fundamental frequency for speaker identificationHývlová, Dita January 2015 (has links)
The present Master's thesis deals with the forensic use of fundamental frequency characteristics, specifically with F0 mean values and indicators of variability. Phoneticians who specialise in the forensic analysis of speech generally believe that F0 does not hold much potential as a parameter useful for speaker identification, mainly because it is easily influenced by extrinsic factors (e.g. the speaker's emotional state, interfering noise, transmission channel or even the speaker's own effort to mask his voice), which cause high intra-individual variability. Despite these facts, however, the forensic use of F0 offers a number of advantages, namely straightforward extraction from the speech signal and lower susceptibility to varying lexical content - unlike, for example, vowel formants. This thesis investigates the recordings of 8 male speakers made in two different speech styles (spontaneous and read) and compares the respective indicators of F0 stability and variability, in particular those that are robust in varying external conditions: that is, the baseline for mean values and the 10.-90. percentile range for variability indicators. Apart from that, we take into account phenomena such as the creaky voice, which are idiosyncratic and contribute to easier speaker discrimination. Key words:...

Výslovnost hlásky r v českých projevech cizinců s mateřštinou němčinou a jeho percepční přijatelnost / Pronounciation and perceptual acceptability of the sound r in Czech speeches by foreign speakers whose L1 is GermanNovotná, Gabriela January 2016 (has links)
The topic of this diploma thesis belongs to the field of language acquisition and language learning. It aims to explore Czech as a second and foreign language of speakers whose mother tongue is German, namely concerning the pronunciation of the r-sound and its perceptual acceptability for Czech native speakers. The theoretical part summarizes the area of pronunciation learning and acquisition in a second and foreign language and outlines various pronunciation difficulties German speakers tend to have in Czech. It deals with the rhotics in general and subsequently focuses on the r- sound, both in Czech and in German, as well as in mutual comparison. In the last chapter, the combinatorial qualities of the r-sound which are used as a basis for the practical part are discussed. The practical part describes the conducted research. Five recordings of German students were collected. The students were staying in Prague for one semester with the Erasmus programme exchange and were learning Czech for the first time. For the recordings a written text was constructed which the students read individually. The text emphasized words including the r-sound. From the recordings, various key words were cut off and a perceptual test was compiled and given to Czech native speakers to evaluate the pronunciation of the...

Chyby ve vyjadřování uživatelů Facebooku / Common expression mistakes of Facebook usersSpáčilová, Marie January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the written form of communication by users of the social networking website Facebook and members of specified groups. Its aim is to map errors in written expression in the topics of spelling lexicography, morphology and syntactics. In addition it is focused on analysing the extent to which typographical rules are disregarded. These problems were investigated by analysis of the inserted statuses and comments by the members of the selected and specified groups of Facebook. In my research, I found that a large number of the authors made elementary mistakes in spelling that are taught in the first grade of the primary school. Another important discovery is that many users hold the opinion that observing the grammatical rules is less of a priority than the content of their communication.
