The diploma thesis aims on financial analysis of the company UniCredit Bank, Inc. in period of year 2012 to 2015 focusing mainly on comparison of its finacial results with previously selected groups of banks. Firstly, the principle of financial analysis and its purpose is stated with particular financial indicators being described. Secondly, basic information about the UniCredit Bank Inc. are given combined with analysis of banking industry as a whole throughout the period. The third main part provides the individual financial analysis of UniCredit Bank Inc. that is compared with statistical data of banking industry and the group of big banks. The results are graphically processed with use of Spider chart for each year of the period. Lastly, the final overview of financial results of UniCredit Bank in context of chosen sectors´ data is summarized.

« Résistances à l’Europe. La représentation sociale de l’Union européenne et les compétences politiques étudiées dans le milieu des entreprises tchèques » analyses political attitudes, social representations of Europe and European Union as well as a level of political competency among persons working in Czech entreprises (from workers to the top management). The first volume emphasizes a theoretical discussion about a concept of « Resistances to European Union » as it has been discussed since the late nineties of the twentieth century up to the 2010. We set a link between individual perceptions of political and social change as well as the importance of cultural differences to apparition of phenomena of resistance. A political competency plays a major role in an individual capacity to deal with cultural difference in changing political environment.<p>The second volume describes principal results of analysis of interviews issued from qualitative research between 90 individuals. We focus on explication of cultural and individual context that contributes to the formulation of Czech political attitudes toward Europe. A very detailed individual analysis helps to understand the reason of Czech reticences toward a process of the European integration at the beginning of the twenty-first century. A common phenomenon among migrants is called language attrition, or the partial loss of language skills caused by changes in the active use of the language. This phenomenon occurs in the Czech Republic, where numerous young Vietnamese are often praised (especially by teachers) for their quick acquisition of the Czech language in the school environment, but experience shortcomings in their Vietnamese language and socio-cultural competence during early adulthood, on the basis of which they begin to go "back to their roots." The main topics of research in this thesis are 1) the experience of loss of the Vietnamese language and socio-cultural competence by individual Vietnamese and by the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, 2) adjustment designs to remedy these deficiencies and 3) the (non-)implementation of these adjustment designs by both individuals and organizations in the Czech Republic. The theoretical- methodological framework is a Language Management Theory (Neustupný 2002) and the main methodological approaches are language biography (Nekvapil 2004) and ethnography. The results of the analysis indicate the critical points to be addressed in incentives for Vietnamese language teaching methodology for young Vietnamese, as well as in the experience and reflection of their personal identities.

This diploma thesis examines the Czechoslovak-British relations between 1945 and 1948 primarily by analysing documents found in the Archive of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on the politico-diplomatic relations and describes their evolution with regards to events of major importance to both involved countries; such as parliamentary elections, the question of German population transfer, or the attitude of Czechoslovakia and the United Kingdom towards the Marshall Plan. The thesis is divided into six chapters and spans the conception of the Czechoslovak foreign policy, based on cooperation with the East, as well as the West; the evolution of the bilateral relations, which were influenced by, inter alia, parliamentary elections in both countries; and the mutual foreign visits. The post-war period is being examined until February 1948 when the change in political regime resulted in deterioration of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The thesis aims to explore the relationship of international professional organization ACCA, respectively ICAEW and Faculty of Finance and Accounting (VŠE), and the knowledge to confront each other. The introduction emphasized the importance of professional organizations in connection with the voluntary and compulsory established organizations. The main part of this thesis is focused on the organization ACCA, which deals with her qualifications. The final part closer describes the cooperation between ACCA and FFA in connection with obtaining the accreditation. This part is complemented by the procedure to obtain the accreditation.

The thesis is focused on an accounting and a tax field of the selected countries, the Czech Republic and Finland. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the accounting and tax system of the chosen countries and its reciprocal comparison. The present form of the financial accounting in both countries was influenced by their economic and political development and by other elements through many years. These factors and their impact on the accounting field are described and reviewed in the first part of the thesis. The second part is focused on the comparison of the tax field of both states which is related with an accounting. Among others, the characteristics of the tax system influence the behaviour of people (persons, entities) in connection with their international (and domestic) business activities. The most suitable indicator chosen for comparison of the tax burden between the Czech Republic and Finland is the consolidated tax quota. Due to the interaction to the accounting, there was an emphasis on the differences in the structure of corporate income tax in connection with the comparison of the tax systems.

In first part of thesis there is a brief characteristics of handicapped people. Afterwards there are introduced various projects, plans, programmes and legislative norms focused on support of travelling of handicapped people. Results of survey finding out if handicapped people in Czech Republic travel, which tourism services are used by them and their satisfaction with tourism services, are an important part of the thesis. In last part of the thesis there is a SWOT analysis and a summary of the whole topic's analysis.

The target of this thesis is analysis of the economic diplomacy system used in the Czech Republic. First theoretic part focus on the term economic diplomacy in general, its definition, main participants, and different ways to organize it. In the second part the system used in the Czech Republic is analyzed, including the legislative frame, organizational structure and various institutions involved in control and support of economic diplomacy in Czech Republic. The goal of the third part is to review this system, point out the main problems and evaluate corrective measures taken.

There are many moments in a company life, where we need to find out the firm's value from different reasons. It is possible to proceed by several methods. Firstly, I deal in theory with the valuation procedure of the firm and with selected methods of firm valuation. I apply the depicted theoretical apparat in the next part of this thesis. I assess the value of the firm Continental Teves Czech Republic, Ltd on the date of 16th of December 2009 according to the methods of which application, based on completed situation and financial analyses, indicated to be the best one. The chosen method has to correspond to the aim of valuation. The aim of this thesis is valuation of the equity. The revenue method of discounted cash flow to the equity was chosen for this purpose. I also valuate the firm according to the method of book value so that I can decide whether the methods are appropriate or not. The result of my work is partly the factual valuation of the firm, partly the determination of advantages and disadvantages of the both methods and the appointment, which one to use in specific situation.

Final thesis observes the impacts of the accession of Czech Republic to the European Union on tourism of Czech Republic. Final thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical parts. The theoretical part contains definitions of the basic terms, history of the European Union, relationship between Czech Republic and EU, position of tourism in European Union and definitions of the projects and policies of European Union. The analytical part observes particular impacts on tourism in measurable and non-measurable values of tourism. The analysis of measurable values contains comparison of the real and forecasted progress. The forecast was created before the accession of Czech Republic to European Union by Czechtourism. Next to this comparison the analysis contains progress of particular indicators before and after the accession and observation of rate of growth of particular indicators. The analysis of non-measurable values contains the overview of participation of Czech Republic in the projects and policies of EU. The analysis of measurable and non-measurable values is a basis for the evaluation of the impacts of the accession of Czech Republic to the European Union on tourism of Czech Republic.
