Trade and Investment relations between the Czech Republic and Ecuador aims to a better understanding of their international connection level. First, the research pretends to inform any business person about the business and trade panorama of the Czech Republic. Secondly, it describes the business and trade panorama of Ecuador. Thirdly and after analyzing each nation, it reports their bilateral trade relations in a quantitative way. Finally, it contributes with conclusions of the research including potential products for trade. The thesis is intended to overcome geographic and cultural constrains between the two nations in order to make a trade analysis looking for integrations between these markets.

The core of the thesis consists in the analysis of the current communication activities used by the company. The aim of the thesis is to map respective tools currently used and to suggest recommendations based on a questionnaire survey conducted among customers of the company. Those findings could possibly lead to improvements in the current communication towards ending customers.

This thesis titled The impact of monetary policy on cross-border economic activities of enterprises focuses on the monetary policy of four European countries - the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark and Sweden. The first chapter discusses the theoretical principles of monetary policy, the definition of monetary policy, its objectives, tools and various types of transmission mechanisms. The second chapter compares monetary policies of the given countries, focusing on their attitude towards the common monetary union (euro zone). The third chapter analyzes the impact of monetary policy on cross-border economic activities of enterprises. It primarily analyzes effects in terms of risks, balance of payments, competitiveness, etc. The fourth chapter -- in form of case study - examines how the foreign exchange interventions by the Czech National Bank affected the Czech economy and trade. The work focuses on the last five years, where appropriate, the development of the past ten years is captured.

The output is the analysis of effects on the labour market of the Czech Republic and Slovakia during the crisis, their evaluation and comparison.

The research is conducted using the Good to Great framework by Jim Collins. Based mainly on quantitative and qualitative survey of 8 Czech companies of various fields and sizes, it was discovered that there are some links between the companies' success. These findings yield a set of recommendations, which is provided in the last chapter.

This thesis deals with development of Telecommunication Industry in The Czech Republic. The first part of the paper captures more complexly overview of global tendencies in the industry. Generally, the key focus is on the last five years from 2009 to 2013 as this was the most dynamic period of the industry so far: new trends such as MVNOs or M2M appeared, telecommunication regulations have tighten up due to united European Union regulations, which all together led to increasing competition in the industry and necessary acquisitions. One of the recent acquisitions -- Telefónica Czech Republic Group and its subsidiaries gained by PPF Group, is analysed in the second part of this thesis through financial analysis. The acquisition's importance and potential benefits are unquestionable as the operator has performed within the last five years that it can react very well during difficult economic and financial times, and it can prosper from its advantages over its main competitors.

Main goal of this Master's thesis was to evaluate how price reductions influence consumers' likelihood to purchase FMCG products in connection to brand loyalty. Czech customers are characterized by high sensitivity to sales promotions. This thesis is focused on analysis of price discounts of shampoos in the Czech Republic. Leaflets of main retailers selling drugstore products were researched in order to describe the frequency and discount depth of shampoos. Customers' behaviour while buying shampoos and their attitude towards price discounts of shampoos were examined through a questionnaire. Main hypotheses that shampoos are discounted very frequently and of significant depth were confirmed. To conclude, customers' likelihood to buy shampoos increases heavily with discounted prices and some of the customers even believe that it is not worth buying shampoos for full prices.

The aim of the paper is to propose a new form of the presentation of the data o help better understanding. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of the terms used further in the document, particularly the definition of the categories of information design, its historical development, and its social and psychological justification. In the second part my work firstly the current form of the outcomes is assessed and then the new form based on data visualisation is suggested.
