Ex 20,4 v teologii Církve československé husitské / Ex 20,4 in the Theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church

Franková, Johana January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the interpretation of the 2nd commandment, known as "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image" (KJV), respectively Ex 20.4 in the concept of theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, represented mainly by the concept of Zdeněk Trtík, the main author of the official catechism of the Church. Trtík uses as a template for his interpretation a translation of the Kralice Bible, which seeks the most faithful translation of the original Hebrew meaning and which is in the conception of the second commandment in the line of the most important historical translations of the Bible, for example of the Vulgate. Most of these translations also correspond to their interpretations, which do not speak of prohibition on depiction of God. Trtík's interpretation, however, is clearly based on an interpretative tradition, oriented rather on the Zürich Bible, which emphasizes the non- depiction of God as an interpretation of the 2nd commandment. Trtík, however, transforms this tradition in his own distinctive way. Because these two main interpretative lines are somewhat remote from each other, I have tried to identify the specific reasons that could lead to Trtík's preference of one of the traditions, and at the same time to ascertain the specific or inspiration sources that Trtík could use...

Vybrané samizdatové časopisy let 1980 až 1987 / Selected samizdat magazines 1980-1987

Kučerová, Monika January 2017 (has links)
The subject of the thesis "Selected samizdat magazines 1980 - 1987 (X Desítka (Ten)/Violit and Jednou nohou (One Foot)/Revolver Revue)" is to give a picture of how these magazines were created and how they functioned in the context of the time. The first part of the thesis gives a general description of historical events, especially the period surrounding Gustáv Husák's rise to become the head of the Czechoslovak Communist Party and the start of normalisation. This change brought about issues such as political cleansing and trials and the development of opposition. The second chapter is devoted to the phenomenon of Charter 77, its origins, the response to it by the party and state apparatus and what it meant to be a Charter 77 member in everyday life. The concept of samizdat is briefly defined in chapter three. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with the magazines themselves. In the sixth chapter they are compared mainly in terms of production and distribution.

Milena Jesenská a její tvorba v Lidových novinách a Přítomnosti / Milena Jesenská and her work for Lidové noviny and Přítomnost

Němečková, Sára January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the journalistic works of Milena Jesenská not only in Lidové noviny but also in the magazine Přítomnost in 1929 - 1930, resp. in 1937 - 1939. In her works we can find a number of repetitive topics. Most of them have in large part roots in her life. Her literaty output is permanently penetrated by her permanent need to help her surroundings and to protect her weaker residents, which is according to author's biographers for Milena Jesenská sheer crucial. The author stood in the years 1929 - 1930 as the head of women's section of Lidové noviny and was trying very hardly to fight for the change of the form of this section in the print at that time. Another significant topic was the issue of a modern woman and her role in the society at that time. The thesis deals also with the resonance of social relations and historic events in the examined texts. Politically tuned reflections or reports and reportage by Milena Jesenská in the magazine Přítomnost bring an authentic perspective to the atmosphere in the Czechoslovak society at that time.

Rudé hrady v meziválečném Československu / Czechoslovak Red Citadels between Two Wars

Vrba, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
(in English): The thesis focuses on the regional organisation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ) in the Liberec region. In the political system of interwar Czechoslovakia, KSČ was specific in that its members hailed from all local ethnic groups. It was therefore, above all, the local Germans who formed the major part of the Liberec organisation. In the 1920s in some districts within the region, KSČ received up to one third of all votes cast, while throughout the 1930s, its support diminished rapidly in favour of the Sudetendeutsche Partei (SdP). The thesis seeks to clarify the causes of this sudden drop. It identifies as one of the major factors the mutually contradictory identities which were being formed within the local branch of the movement, i.e. the communist, the German and the Czechoslovak identity. These three came into alignment, to a certain degree, only shortly before the Munich Agreement with the emergence of a communist Czechoslovak narrative established on a supraethnic basis. The study also takes note of the developments in the KSČ headquarters in Prague as these had significant impact on the peripheral Liberec organization and further places the problem within the context of the First Czechoslovak Republic and its society. The policies and politics of the central...

Suková, Lenka January 2015 (has links)
Lenka Suková Abstract of Dissertation 1 THE ROCK ART OF NORTHEAST AFRICA: A CASE STUDY OF THE ROCK PAINTINGS FROM THE CZECHOSLOVAK CONCESSION IN LOWER NUBIA Lenka Suková ABSTRACT OF DISSERTATION The study I hereby submit as a dissertation is part of my long-term project aimed at a critical evaluation of the rock-art and archaeological evidence gathered in two sections of the Nile Valley in Lower Nubia by the Czechoslovak expedition working in the framework of the UNESCO-organised salvage campaign. The study, published in 2011 as a separate monograph, is concerned only with occurrences of rock paintings and coloured (incrusted) petroglyphs in the two research area. The nine shelters treated herein constitute only 0.64 % in the whole corpus from the Czechoslovak concession predominated by petroglyphs - just as in most of Northeast Africa - of varied themes, styles, and dates. Nevertheless, this painted corpus is a valuable collection that, as opposed to petroglyphs, represents works that were more demanding from the technical point of view and require detailed analysis of technical aspects, is more amenable to stylistic analysis, and, last but not least, the colour scheme itself plays part in interpretation (for instance, in the case of white, probably linen kilts or tunics in two of the shelters - 17 R XIII,...

Cestovatelé mezi Československem a Velkou Británií v letech 1945-1948. / Travelers between the Czechoslovakia and the Great Britain in the years 1945-1948

Kučera, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the postwar travelers between Czechoslovakia and Great Britain in 1945 - 1948 and it is thematiclly divided into three chapters. The first part focuses on the impacts of the war on European countries and mainly on Czechoslovakia, Breat Britain and Germany. It mainly emphasizes the state of transport infrastructure, which has played a key role in bringing people back home. An important part of these returns was also the sophisticated plan that the Czechoslovak government in exile created. The second part examines the development of Czechoslovak - British relations as well as the work of diplomatic and cultural institutions which played a key role in providing foreign internships and foreign study programs. Through study programs, many students and researchers could visit Great Britain. The work of Czechoslovak exiles and their influence on the British public is also taken into account in this work. The final part examines the travel conditions in post - war Europe. It tries to examine these travel conditions from historical sources and mainly the written and audiovisual memories of the witnesses. The emphasis here is on the description of repatriation from the United Kingdom and on the restoration of civilian transport routes, which have recovered quite quickly after 1945.
