Post-project analysis is a key instrument which verifies predictive ability of EIA process. It plays probably the most important role in the improvement of efficiency and usefulness of this process. The main objective of this thesis is the own analysis of the D3 highway connection Tábor - Soběslav and underline the importance of a prost-project monitoring in the sense of terrestrial construction.
Thesis is focused on the evaluation of the whole EIA process and verifies if and how the EIA conditions are fulfilled. The monitoring of water quality and appraisal of the present traffic situation in the examined area shows us the present state compared with the predictive ability of EIA process. In spite of a weak cooperation of involved subjects was confirmed how insignificant and small role plays the prost-project analysis in Czech Republic yet.
With setting up the secondary targets was achieved complex understanding and implementation of the post-project analysis.Results of this thesis could be used as methodical instrucitons for another post-project analysis with similar focus.

The thesis deals with the concept of landscape arrangement of the model area and incorporating the selected section of the planned highway D3 in the landscape. The thesis is based on the findings of the analysis of the selected area. Literary part focuses on resources dealing with land-use and spatial planning. To process analytical work was used methodology Concept of landscape arrangement for the protection and restoration of cultural, historical and natural values of the territory (Kučera et al. 2015). The practical part analyzes the characteristics of the landscape and is based on the findings formulates principles concept landscape arrangement. The proposal section specifies in detail the possibility of integrating the highway D3 into the landscape of the area so that the disruption of the landscape is minimized as small as possible.

First part of diploma thesis outlines road transport, its development and social significance. It describes issues of road transport in relationship to environment and influence on human health. It further informs about process of assessment influences on environment (EIA) and about post-project analysis of influences to environment. Discusses goals and issues within these two interdependent processes.
Second part is focused on the city Pilsen itself and its constructed motorway bypass. It evaluates efficiency of applied measures moderating negativ impact of construction on evironment and human health. Further examines efficiency of motorway bypass, if it fulfilled its purpose. So, whether managed divert significant part of transport from motorway D5 outside city Pilsen. Other area of research is noise and emission ballast around previous motorway route through the city Pilsen.

Perception of D3 motorway impacts by municipal representatives Abstract The thesis analyzes in detail the perception of the impact of D3 motorway by the representatives of the affected municipalities, who represent three different parts of society - community leaders, a representative of business and general population. The expected impacts of a new motorway in the given area are discussed with technical bibliography, which provided the basis for research questions and hypotheses. Field research was conducted in municipalities, which will yet be affected by the planned D3 motorway, and in municipalities in Central and Southern Bohemia, where part of D3 motorway had already been completed. Semi-structured interviews and questionnaires were used as the main research tools. The finding about the perception of the D3 motorway in the affected municipalities were based on detailed analysis of statistical data and in-depth analysis of the interviews. The findings show that the resulting perception of the impact varies depending on various aspects like geographical aspects, such as the location of the village (with regard to the highway route) or the population size of the municipality. This diploma thesis deals with proposal for reconstruction of the section of the D46 motorway and the adjacent motorway junction designated as Exit 2 Vyškov. The area in question is located in the non-built-up area of the town of Vyškov. The D46 motorway crosses first-class road number II/430 at this point, which connects with the II/430 road at the intersection. The intersection we are concerned with is plagued by several problems. The first is the unsatisfactory connection of road number II/430 in the eastern part of the intersection, where the indirect branch has no slip road, meaning that vehicles are forced to stop here, resulting in clogging of the exit from Vyškov to Olomouc. Another problem is the turn-off to the petrol station in the western part of the intersection. The problem occurs at the location of the turn-off to the previously mentioned petrol station, where approximately 100 m from the turn-off there is an indirect branch of the western part of the intersection and vehicles wishing to join the D46 motorway are forced to slow down there.

Although there is an international vehicular consensus about signing, the maximum speed allowed or connecting the most significant regions together, their nature is different all based on geographical, cultural or social conditions. Rest stops along the roads reflect each country dispositions. Rest stops are the place where different social and national clusters meet. At this moment building up the rest stops is on behalf of the Czech republic which is not that much interested in it. Instead of taking care and maintain them, because the current state of the reststops is not satisfactory, the Czech republic is letting them to the third parties - supranational corporations. This leads to unpleasant lines along the highways accompanying by petrol stations and cheesy fastfoods. There is no place for rest stops without the need of consummation. The Czech republic has currently begun planning and building up new kilometers of highways and the new opportunities of rest stops arise. Because the existing site is overloaded with petrol stations, supranational corporations are no longer interested in these plots. State has an opportunity to take over and redesign these neglected plots on his own.

Zhodnocení sesuvného rizika v oblasti Prackovic po povodních 2013 / Slope deformation risk assessment in the area of Prackovice after floods in 2013Roháč, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with constructing engineering geological 1:1000 map of Dobkovičky landslide, collecting of reconstituted soil samples, their laboratory CIUP triaxial testing and subsequent modeling of wall stability of the landslide after the excavation of collapsed soil material. Mapping was done during spring of 2014. Outcome of this thesis is hand drawn map, plotted on the map are all the elements of the landslide including 38 documentation points. Legend of the maps is attached. Collection of reconstituted soil samples was done during drilling investigation, executed by company AZ Consult, spol.s.r.o., during summer of 2014. Three samples of all that were collected were subjected to laboratory CIUP triaxial testing. The result of the testing is critical friction angel, which was used during modeling of wall stability of the landslide after excavation of all collapsed soil material. For the actual modeling, PC software Plaxis 2D was used.
