In this work is presented development of computational model of real timber truss in collapse state. The model was solved linearly and geometrically non-linearly and the results were evaluated. The aim was to depict the real behavior of the structure.

The aim of this study is the design of Yacht club. The building is situated on a building estate No. 1303/3 of the Kozmice land registry in the recreational premises at the lakefront of „Hlučínské jezero“. It is placed next to the flooding line which is also considered in the project. The building is divided into three operational parts – the hotel, the catering establishments (restaurant) and the area primarily destined for holding conferences and workshops. The hotel is designed to accommodate thirty-two people, the capacity of restaurant is forty-two and conferential area is suitable for forty people at the most. Yacht club is designed as four-storey building with a flat grassed-covered roof. With regard to the foundation conditions, the building is found on piles. The structural part of walls is partly from CLT panels and partly from reinforced concrete which increase the stiffness of the building. The external cladding of the hotel consists of wooden blocks creating ventilated facade, while the rest of the building is rendered.

This thesis focuses on the topic of piano accompaniment, which is an essential and beautiful part of piano playing. This field demands from the pianist a specific approach, which is a subject and core of many study programmes throughout the world. The aim of the first part of this thesis is to map the evolution as well as the current state of knowledge in the field of piano accompaniment using scientific literature on the subject as well as curricula of study programmes obtained from universities in central Europe, where piano accompaniment is taught as a major study course. A strong correlation has been established based on this research between theory in scientific literature on the subject and the current practice of piano accompaniment education in central Europe. The aim of the second part of this thesis is to expand further the level of knowledge in scientific literature, which is insufficient mainly in the accompaniment of solo musical instruments. For this reason, the second part of the thesis focuses on the specific problems in piano accompaniment of musical instrument groups, i.e. string instruments, woodwind instruments and brass instruments. In the area of barracks in Brno Černá Pole lies a great potential. Currently is the area closed for public, but it has got a convenient location to become the center of the city part. Urban design is based on historical context and current structure of the barracks. The area wasn´t urbanized before the barracks founding and in the new designed structure we can see the reference to this use. Particular areas, which are determined in the regulation plan design are designed more detailed. The heart of area with the main amenities as sport center, community center, school and town hall is situated in the south east. This location is convenient because of the crossing of the pedestrians routes and axis of view. It is easy to reach this point from different directions. Town Hall determined the square. City Hall building is based on the basic requirements - the representativeness, simple orientation in the buildings and economics. Linear form of the building is divides into two part by staircase hall, which is the center of the house. Part facing the crossing is multifunctional and includes a café, management of city part and a lecture hall. This section can work independently as well as during unofficial days. The second part of building contains offices and staff facilities. On the ground floor is the building surrounded by a colonnade and richly glazed, allowing visual communication exterior and interior. The main entrances to the building are from the square and strett Mathonova. The interior are based on transparency, so the visitors can experience the management of city part.

This dissertation examines the personality of Frantisek Bakule. It is largely based on many manuscripts of his rich estate, and the products of his pupils. The aim of the paper was to map out the unexamined part of the estate in the National Pedagogical Museum and Library of J. A. Comenius. This aim was only partially achieved as the estate is truly enormous. Therefore, the focus was put on the parts concerning Bakule's Little Singers, Childern's Workshop Group and letters from his former students. However, the main benefit of this paper is a complete record of all the products and toys made the children. Such record had not been compiled, not even in museum record keeping files. All the objects were photographed, measured, described and categorized. An important part of this dissertation is also an extensive chapter devoted to the history of caring for the physically disabled not only in the Czech Republic but also in other European countries at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.

The aim of this diploma thesis was to analyze the current effects of FSC production on the Czech market. The analysis of certified products in the Czech Republic was performed from the perspective of consumers and companies. The first step was a short consumer survey, which was distributed among respondents in electronic and paper versions. The main objective of this research was to measure awareness of FSC logo and its effects in the consumer choice process. The second part of this research was dedicated to companies producing or selling certified furniture. The field research was conducted among selected stores situated in České Budějovice.

Area of the airport Medlánky is situated on the border of city districts Brno-Medlánky and Brno-Komín near the nature reserve "Medlánecké kopce". The designed gallery of aviation is a two-storey building, which consists of three parts. The main part is the exhibition space for airplanes, which is formed of a single-storey long-span hall, with the two-storey entrance part of the complex of buildings connected to it, in which are situated the area of the entrance, the training center (detached workplace of the institute of aviation FS BUT in Brno) and the administration. In the building of the original hangar, which is located along the street Turistická are located restaurants and aeroclub. Exhibition hall of the building of the gallery is formed by the structural system of the arched wooden glulam beams. The load-bearing wooden structures are visible and form the elements of the interior of the exhibition space. Two-storey extention of the entrance part of the building is structurally designed as a skeleton wooden structure. The material exception is the area of the entrance, which is made of monolithic concrete.

The theme of this thesis is structural design of the load bearing structure of a footbridge over the river Dyje Znojmo. Span of the footbridge is 30 meters and width is 3.8 meters.

The diploma thesis deals with superstructure of apartment building in brno, which is located in a row house construction. The goal of the diploma thesis is to design new supporting structures and minimize the load from these construction because of low reservs in the load capacity of the existing supporting walls. the thesis contains a technical report, analysis of statics, drawing documentation and visualization. The internal forces were executed by software scia engineer.
