The thesis is focused on three basic parts – description of the theoretical and practical parts of measurements of LED modules front automotive headlamps, then design and realization of system for collecting and storing measurement data source and finally creation of server applications allowing via a web interface selection and display the required data.

The thesis was focused on creation of a coniferous tree by nondestructive method allowing description of structure of adult spruce trees. After processing provided data we created a model of L-system which creates a tree branch. Thereafter, a Python script generated parameters which were required for the creation of the model of the tree in graphical software Blender. Model of coniferous tree was sucesfully generated. Its memory requirements are high but for our purposes this is not an essential problem.

System for data mining Fit-Miner is now dependant on only one specific DBMS. This master’s thesis  deals with analysis of implementation that works with database, modules and functions for data mining. Next it shows the set of changes which will allow FIT-Miner to work with another DBMS. And finally, a description of the implementation of these changes.

The purpose of this masters thesis is to study issues of monitoring and analysis of users using DLP (Data Loss Prevention) system, the definition of internal and external attacks, the description of the main parts of the DLP system, managing of politic, monitoring user activities and classifying the data content. This paper explains the difference between contextual and content analysis and describes their techniques. It shows the fundamentals of network and endpoint monitoring and describes the process and users activities which may cause a data leakage. Lastly, we have developed endpoint protection agent who serves to the monitoring activities at a terminal station.

Scope of this work is the problematic of data visualization. Data visualization is a useful tool to present and gather new information and thus get to better decisions. In theoretical part, data analysis topics are dealt with. Then specific types of graphs are listed and explained, and in next part problems with graph creation are pinpointed. Basics of graphic and web design are also mentioned. Practical part is focused on visualization of data of processed results of speech analysis, gathered from patients with Parkinson disease. Because majority of people in medical industry do not have, or is not able to work with specialized software (such as Matlab), outputs in HTML table and SVG format were created based on Python programming language. Both these parts are accommodated into webpage, which can be easily opened in web browser installed in most of computers regardless of operation system used.

This diploma thesis deals with the use of geographic information systems in issue of facility management. Its purpose is to show the advantages of this connection, mostly the visualization and analytical capabilities of GIS. The general issues of facility management are described in the first part of the thesis - what it is about, what it brings, the most important definitions and standards are provided there. Then it continues with theory about connection with GIS and answers the question, why this cooperation is beneficial. It continues with description of importance of GIS during whole life circle of real estate. The chapter is concluded by definition of another powerful tool in FM - CAD/BIM. The fourth chapter discusses one of the important tasks of FM - passportization and its meaning. 1 Web sites offer a huge amount of information. Often it is a page generated from data stored in databases. However, emphasis is placed on the display of information, but not on their machine processing. Part of the thesis is design and implementation of a prototype system to retrieve data from dynamically generated web using programming by demonstration technique. Such a system allows the user to show with mouse to the system how to proceed with gathering information from the website. Based on such a example, the system will derive a procedure to acquire information on similar sites. The implemented system is able to collect user relevant information from similar sites for example in form of a simple table suitable for further machine processing.

This thesis examines the relationship between the distribution of structural breaks within a data sample and the estimated parameter of long memory. We use Monte Carlo simulations to generate data from processes with specific values of parameters. Subsequently we join the data with various shifts to mean and examine how the estimates of the parameters vary from their true values. We have discovered that the overestimate of the long memory parameter is higher when the breaks are clustered together. It further increases when the signs of the shifts are positively correlated within the clusters while negative correlation reduces the bias. This thesis is focused on analysis of youth delinquency in terms of Per-Olof H. Wikström's Situational Action Theory or rather modelling data relating to this area of research International Self-Report Delinquency Study 3. The main aim of the thesis is to introduce and evaluate this theoretical-empirical model for the explanation of youth delinquency. The work is split into three main parts - theoretical, methodological and empirical. First one consists of the definition of basic concepts and show Wikström' s 'situational action theory applied to the delinquency topic. In methodological part there is a description of ISRD-3 survey, basic indicators of sample and data collection methods used. And then there is an explanation how operationalization of individual explanatory variables in the model was done. Empirical part is dedicated to multidimensional analysis of data and evaluation of this concept. The results demonstrate the success of the analytical model and its application as a default theory in the examination of youth delinquency.

The aim of the thesis was to develop an algorithm to generate synthetic XML documents to cover the resolution of an XPath query with test cases, with a special emphasis on the ease of configuration.
