Folksonomi på webben : indexeringskonsistens och konstruktion av taggar bland Delicious användare / Folksonomy on the web : indexing consistency and construction of tags among Delicious’ users

Samuelsson, Annika January 2010 (has links)
The aim for this master’s thesis is to investigate the indexing consistency in a folksonomy Delicious. This is done by investigating how users construct tags. By applying a semiotic perspective and use analysis of content the occurrences of inflected forms, hyponymy, meronymy and users own tag creations were established. Lancaster’s seven factors is the starting point for the discussion about indexing and the factors that affects it in either a negative or positive way. The indexing consistency is calculated for the first twenty users of the five objects that are investigated. For the calculation Rolling’s method has been used but since it focuses on the indexing consistency between two users, it was adapted for the calculation of the average consistency of the first 20 users. The thesis results show that users prefer to use much the same words which mean that the average consistency for all objects is 28.34 %. Like professional indexers, the users of Delicious prefer to tag the objects with nouns and they often use the singular form. Problems arise when users create their own tags because many of these tags only occur one or two times for every object. This affects the indexing consistency in a negative way.

Sdílená osobní databáze znalostí / Shared Personal Knowledge Database

Folk, Michal January 2013 (has links)
The goal of the paper is to suggest a solution of an inefficiency in searching for previously searched and found information. The suggested solution is based on the use of a personal knowledge base built upon existing technologies and adapted to needs of common users. The thesis is focused especially to the search based on semantic similarities between tags. Collective knowledge is used for finding the similarities. The first part of the paper introduces the repetitive search problem by a few real world scenarios. In the second part the problem is analyzed from the personal knowledge base point of view. The third part explains the suggested solution that is built upon Delicious, a bookmarking service and DBpedia. The suggested solution is implemented as a prototype. In the final part the prototype is tested and evaluated. The test results suggest that the presented solution can make the repetitive search easier, but at the same time it exposes some performance issues that the proposed method brings up. The paper recommends modifications that could improve the performance and allow more extensive prototype testing. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Změny vybraného sušeného ovoce během skladování a jejich vliv na senzorickou jakost

HUDSKÁ, Miluše January 2017 (has links)
Thesis is focused on thy drying of apples and their changes during long-term storage. The theoretical part was written using the research, which brings findings about the drying of apples, their requirements during sale, selection of right raw material, interventions against enzymes and sensory analysis. The sensory analysis was a significant part of the practical part, because the practical part was based on it. Objective of the thesis was to compare three varieties of dried apples. By the scaling-point test there were not discovered by differences between varieties, but during each assessed descriptor there was discovered, that the quality is decreasing. The serial test was used as a second test of the sensory analysis, which determined the development of sensory quality and ordering of samples from the best to the worst. It was discovered, that all there varieties kept their specific characteristics for five months, i.e. eight months from the commencement of production. Longer storage was assessed as inconvenient.

Sociální pluginy: historie a využití / Social plugins: history and usage

Habartová, Lucie January 2011 (has links)
Thesis aims to present the current situation of social plugins growth. It examines social plugins from users and website owner point of view. At the beginning, the work reminds of web present emergence and comes after with emergence of social plugins. Work examines also the terminology of term "social plugin". Social plugins (as is Facebook Like button) are described in chapter Type of social plugins, after this comes chapter about practical usage of social plugins. Parts of this chapter are case studies and evaluations of advantages and disadvantages. Last chapter follow social plugins from the user's point of view. The subjects of examination are motivation to share information online and present results of studies and research, which has been prepared by author of this thesis. In enclosure can be found complete list of the most exploited social plugins including their functions and possibilities of usage.
