Programa de desenvolvimento de competências para profissionais de educação física na educação de crianças com deficiência intelectual / Program development skills for physical education professionals in the education of children with intellectual disabilities

Luiz Antonio Souza de Araújo 15 December 2009 (has links)
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of a program to develop skills for teaching in Physical Education professionals working in education for children with Intellectual Disabilities. Besides the essential skills, these professionals must demonstrate the process of inclusion and ensure the continuation of these children in the school context. This research had as participants 40 (forty) physical education teachers, put at the Regional Superintendent of Education State - SRE, located in a município in southern Minas Gerais state, and working in public schools. The forty (40) physical education teachers were randomly referred to by the principal, and is called the experimental group, ie, those professionals who attended, in fact, the sessions of the development skills program. These participants were monitored and evaluated during the instructional program. A research design statistics of the type pre-test and post-test was used applied at the beginning and the end of the program at the same time to verify the entry level or competence (knowledge, skills and attitudes). This methodology combines planned techniques, targeted intervention in educational situations and has been exploited as a tool for application deployment and implementation of programs and projects of public policy on continuing education. Levels of effectiveness were obtained by systems of individualized instructional evaluation. The survey results indicate that the median of the notes in the pretest was (7.5) points in the post-test (8.8) points, and detected a significant difference (Z = 4.641, p = 0,00) between them. The grade in the post-test was statistically higher when compared to the grade in the pre-test, and therefore the participants obtained skills, due to the conducted teacher training. In the analysis of results only one "outlier" in the post-test was observed, which demonstrates the existence of a single individual discordant group. The results also suggest the need to implement a master plan for mapping skills in proposing public policy actions in continuing education for professionals in physical education and others working in the education of children with special educational needs.

Rozvoj sociálních dovedností u žáků s poruchou autistického spektra / Development of social skills at pupils with autistic spectrum disorder

Muchová, Marta January 2021 (has links)
The formation of social relationships accompanies us throughout our lives and are a source of satisfaction. While social interactions bring joy to healthy children, children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder bring such interactions to an unknown territory filled with uncertainty and distress. The social domain is an interrelated system consisting of several areas. If a child does not understand one or more areas, she will not function correctly during human-to-human interactions. Areas that help a child acquire appropriate social skills include cognitive, perceptual, motor, and emotional abilities. Consequently, it is only appropriate to focus on such areas during social skills training to achieve the best possible outcomes. The thesis deliberates on the social skills development of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The work aims to characterize the methods and intervention options in social skills development, imitation, and fine motor skills and evaluate progress in respective areas. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter outlines the history and terminology development of autism spectrum disorders. The second chapter focuses on social skills development, imitation, fine motor skills, and play. The third chapter describes two children's case studies and...

Visual media as a tool to acquire soft skills — cross-disciplinary teaching-learning project SUFUvet

Maurer, Patrick, Raida, Antonia Christine, Lücker, Ernst, Münster, Sander 15 May 2019 (has links)
Purpose – SUFUvet is a cross-disciplinary teaching-learning project designed to adapt students’ soft skills and track usability and the concrete surplus value of work techniques in the field of visual media design. Design/methodology/approach – For SUFUvet, a collaboration between the Institute of Food Hygiene/University of Leipzig and the Media Center/Technische Universität Dresden was initiated. Bachelor students of media informatics generate 3D visualisations in the framework of SCRUM: Undergraduate veterinary students issue instructions in order to create an e-learning class. During the project, questionnaires, group discussions, and feedback methods are used to detect changes in selected soft skills. Originality/value – This design is meant to increase knowledge and employability by adapting student’s media, communication, and project management competences. Using SCRUM appears to be a new approach, not only in the field of programming, but for media production as well. Additionally, it offers an interdisciplinary work environment, which is rare but considered fruitful within university studies. Practical implications – The outcomes of the application are a 3D-visualised meat inspection e-learning class for veterinary students plus a documentation of SCRUM as a framework for visual media design. It is seen as an experiment for future applications in a variety of cross-disciplinary learning and media design cases.

Vliv Elkoninovy metody na fonologické schopnosti dětí v předškolním věku / Influence of Elkonin's method on phonological ability of preschool children

Konopásková, Šárka January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the influence of Elkonin's method on phonological abilities in preschool age. In the term of content, the thesis is divided into two main parts - teoretical and empirical. The first main part creates a theoretical framework of the selected topic and is further divided into four chapters. First, the basic terminology - speech and language - are defined and the ontogenesis of human speech is conceptualized in more detail. The next chapter describes the phonological skills. There is also a distinction between phonological and phonemic awareness and a possible diagnosis of the field of phonological processing. Above all, the Battery of Tests of Phonological Abilities (by the authors Seidlová Málková and Caravolas) is described, because it was used for the needs of the research. The third chapter characterizes the methodology of D. B. Elkonin. The last chapter approaches school maturity and its diagnosis. The empirical part has a qualitative character and its main purpose of the researche is to analyze the influence of Elkonin's method on the phonological abilities of preschool children. From the research methods the analysis of the results of the activity, the analysis of the documents, the observation and the elaboration of the case study were used. Four preschool...
