Aplikace dashboardů v oblasti podpory řízení IT / Application of dashboards in the area of support of IT management

Sakař, Václav January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of IT management in the companies, which is described in the MBI (Management of Business Informatics) model, at all levels of IT management in the way how they are defined and used by MBI. The main goal of this diploma thesis is design and create (new/modified) content in the area of IT management in the MBI model for broader usage of this model in the company sphere. The main goal is fulfilled by fulfilling of two sub-goals. Firstly, it is designing and creating new metrics, dimensions and applications or modification (extension) of already existing content in MBI model. Secondly, it is implementation of new or (selected) modified content with Microsoft PowerPivot into the form of interactive applications and then into the dashboards composed from them. The structure of this diploma thesis is adjusted to make those sub-goals achievable. The structure is divided into theoretical and practical section containing together six main parts. Firstly, the two most widely used methodologies of IT management and mainly MBI model are described. Then the definitions of metric (as a main instrument, which is used in IT management) and its attributes are described. Following section contains definition of dashboards and basic description about their designing and creating. In the last part of the theoretical section are described metrics, dimensions, applications and their connections in the MBI model. First part of practical section is about designing and creating of new metrics, dimensions and applications or modifying of already existing content. The last part of this thesis contains implementation of a new or (selected) modified content into applications or dashboards. Main benefit of this diploma thesis is enrichment of existing content in the MBI model in IT management (specifically in the metrics, the dimensions, the applications and the dashboards based on those three things), which improved usability of the MBI in practical usage. Thanks to this extended content, the users or mainly the management employees can react in better way on the potential problems, have better overview about level of quality of the IT resources, can manage the employees in better way and can coordinate quality and quantity of the IT outputs in better way in general.

Specifika vedení multikulturní firmy z oblasti IT v Brně / Specifics of Leading of Intercultural IT Company in Brno

Špok, Václav January 2011 (has links)
The World is becoming global and also the companies. They are expanding their business outside the current location. This trend brings new challenges to the top management and to line managers to be able lead not just people with same culture, but also lead and cooperate with reportees from different cultures. Leaders need to be able to lead teams consisted from people of various gender, religion, age, sexual orientation or color. Managers need to be aware of those specifics in order to use full potential of whole team. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze those specifics of leading of intercultural IT company based on semi-structured interviews with expats, free associations, analysis of company documents and guided discussion and design methods and recommendations to be able to lead intercultural teams more effectively, mainly in IT field.

Etická dimenze multikulturality (S využitím poznatků reálií a kultury Německa) / Ethical Dimension of Multiculturalism (Using the Knowledge of German Realia and Culture)

Josefová, Alena January 2017 (has links)
The presented dissertation deals with the ethical aspects of inconsistent view on the contemporary world, which can be seen as a philosophical, political and multicultural problem. Since the Federal Republic of Germany can be considered an example of open multicultural society, the author presents in the work a rich factual history, culture and realities of the country with the aim to clarify the understanding of its foreign policy relating to the immigration. The dissertation addresses the issue of the ethical dimension of multiculturalism in connection with migration and multicultural coexistence in a culturally diverse and often turbulent environment, including their practical impacts. The research carried out at the university environment of multicultural Germany in 2014-2016 detects present cultural diversity of the country, confirms the importance of the education in the process of integrating newcomers into mainstream society and searches for opportunities to improve the coexistence of people of different races, ethnicities, cultures and religions. In the conclusion, the author tracks the future developments and expectations with respect to the topic of multiculturalism and its ethical dimension both, on the territory of immigration Germany and in European and world context. Srovnání kulturních hodnot vysokoškolských studentů na základě Hofstedeho dimenzí ve vybraných zemích (Česku, Slovensku a Rakousku) / Comparison of Cultural Values of University Students Based on the Hofstede's Dimensions in Selected Countries (the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Austria)

Morávková, Hana January 2011 (has links)
The master thesis is focusing on Hofstede's cultural dimensions in Prague, Bratislava and Vienna. There were 174 students who filled-in the questionnaire called "Value survey 1994". The aim of this work is to verify results of Hofstede's cultural dimensions and discuss obstacles of his methodology. One of the challenges is to create a comparable sample of respondents. Their characteristics should be as similar as possible except for nationality. The sample of 160 students was tested by Kruskal-Wallis test and groups were not significantly different. The interesting finding was the age of students. Although students in Austria enter university when they are 18, it is one year earlier than in Czechia and Slovakia, the student were same age. The results were litle bit different from Hofstedeho values because of university surrounding/enviroment. As this model is obsolete, today's cross-cultural researches are using cluster analysis which compares countries from made up graph of vaules which tend to group based on cross-national differencies. Hofstede's model was used because of his availability and simplicity. In addition, this work is trying to utilize Hofstede's model in Social Geography. However, this work found cross-cultural research very usefull for characterizing countries with possible use in...

Sociální integrace pracujících Čechů a Slováků na Taiwanu / Social integration of Czechs and Slovaks working in Taiwan

Kovářová, Martina January 2020 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is focused on providing a thorough insight into the process of integration of Czechs and Slovacs working in Taiwan in 4 dimensions of integration (structural, cultural, interactive, identificational) from the point of view of the migrants themselves and considering the psychological aspects as well. Another aim is to identify determinants possibly facilitating the whole process, and related obstacles, too. To meet the aims of the thesis, a qualitative research has been conducted on the basis of semi-structured interviews. Twelve interviewees took part in these interviews. The findings from the interviews suggest for example that despite participation in the labour market, the nature of their work experience was sometimes illegal, and therefore problematic. Survey also suggests related key obstacles of their integration process such as language barrier and cultural differences. Attitude of the majority society, access to institutional system and social networks were rather contributory factors. Keywords acculturation - dimensions of social integration - psychological acculturation - social integration - Taiwan

Symetrie systémů v prostorech příbuzných prostoročasu vícedimenzionální černé díry / Symmetries of systems in spaces related to high-dimensional black hole spacetime

Kolář, Ivan January 2014 (has links)
In this work we study properties of the higher-dimensional generally rotating black hole space-time so-called Kerr-NUT-(A)dS and the related spaces with the same explicit and hidden symetries as the Kerr-NUT-(A)dS spacetime. First, we search commuta- tivity conditions for classical (charged) observables and their operator analogues, then we investigate a fulfilment of these conditions in the metioned spaces. We calculate the curvature of these spaces and solve the charged Hamilton-Jacobi and Klein-Gordon equations by the separation of the variables for an electromagnetic field, which pre- serves integrability of motion of a charged particle and mutual commutativity of the corresponding operators.

Analýza atraktorů zobecněných Newtonovských tekutin v 3d oblastech / Analýza atraktorů zobecněných Newtonovských tekutin v 3d oblastech

Žabenský, Josef January 2011 (has links)
We investigate a system of nonlinear partial differential equations, specifically the so-called Ladyzhenskaya model, in three spatial dimensions. It will be shown that after inclusion of a perturbation of a higher order, the model exhibits a considerably better behavior, in particular it will become quite straightforward to prove differentiability of solutions with respect to the initial condition. Due to this fact we may consequently employ the method of Lyapunov exponents to estimate the fractal dimension of the exponential attractor. First, however, it will be necessary to show existence and uniqueness of solutions, improved regularity and existence of a compact invariant set for the entire system.

Einsteinova gravitace ve více dimenzích / Higher-dimensional Einstein gravity

Štrupl, František January 2011 (has links)
In the present work, we study some aspects of Einstein's theory of gravitation in general spacetimes with an arbitrary number of dimensions. In the first chapter we summarize the foundations of used geometric formalism and we derive the equation of goedesic deviation representing the relation between relative acceleration and the Riemann tensor. Second chapter presents different types of algebraic classification of the Weyl tensor in four and higher dimensions. Third chapter is devoted to a detailed examination of the test particle motions and also to the interpretation of different terms in the general equation of geodesic deviation. The fourth section examines appropriate choice of the interpretation frame and the coordinates. The final fifth chapter contains an analysis of the motion of test particles in the Robinson-Trautman spacetime with an arbitrary higher number of dimensions.
