Lidské zdroje v rozvoji venkova / Human resources in rural development

HLAVÁČKOVÁ, Jana January 2016 (has links)
The work presents one of the Geert Hofstede's approaches to cultural dimensions and and directing their application for the development of rural region to the knowledge economy by influencing the development of human capital. Quantitative research was conducted by questionnaire survey in order to determine the state of the local community, particularly the socio-economic characteristics of the village and material security of the population. The identification of cultural dimensions was carried out using quantitative research VSM 94 & 13. Subsequently, research was expanded to include qualitative research using CSDT.

Podniková kultura jako faktor funkčnosti / Corporate culture as a factor of functionality

VODOVÁ, Martina January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the characteristic of the corporate culture of the chosen enterprise. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the desirable state of the corporate culture. In the methodology, the criterion of desirable functionality of corporate culture is determined according to the cultural dimensions by G. Hofstede. This criterion requires an enterprise to operate on bases of knowledge economy with focus on new innovative approaches and competitiveness. The data was obtained through three conducted investigations. The first two were closest to the questionnaire survey. The first one was called the "Questionnaire - The Power of Corporate Culture" and the other one was called Values Survey Module 2013 (VSM 2013). The third research was quantitative with qualitative elements - Colour Semantic Differential Test. Finally, changes that can help to move to the entirely desirable state of enterprise culture are proposed.

Kulturologické aspekty rozvoje lidských zdrojů a stabilizace venkovských regionů / Culturological aspects of human resources development and stabilization of rural regions

POPELÁKOVÁ, Lenka January 2009 (has links)
The principal aim of my dissertation was to specify and find out the sense of culturological aspects, which appeal on the development and stabilization of rural regions, to find the areas, where the culturological aspects could contribute to keep folks in the country and find the ways how to improve the satisfaction of folks with country life. I have tried to find the specific cultural symbols and dominant cultural dimensions of certain communities, which are the significant self-recognizable element of society. Our research was realized by standard questionnaire inquiry in Čkyně and Doudleby and by CSDT (Colour Semantic Differential Test). CSDT was used to get more complete information about communities of Čkyně and Doudleby and their dominant cultural dimensions. The results could be resumed into following. The problem, why people leave the countryside, is not based mainly on insufficient services and facilities. We can demonstrate it on Čkyně. However Čkyně has better public utilities than Doudleby, its inhabitants (especially the new arrivals and their children) are not satisfied as the inhabitants in Doudleby and they are likely to leave Čkyně in the future. Doudleby is the village with strong and still celebrated traditions. New arrivals are hearty welcome between the olds and they also participate on the local cultural life. The main contribution of my dissertation should have been the finding the influence of cultural traditions on stabilization the rural regions. Strong traditions join people together and improve social relations in the village. Traditions are the roots of folks that prevent them from leaving the countryside.

Kulturní rozdíly na webu / Cultural Differences on Web

Pelíšek, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis applies the theory of cultural differences in the web environment. Several dozens of selected websites from various national cultures are evaluated and analyzed. Differences in the web design and marketing communication are studied depending on the culture. The evaluation is based on cultural models of social psychologist Geert Hofstede and anthropologist Edward T. Hall. Research sites are selected from nine cultural clusters according to the Inglehart-Welzel cultural map, based on the World Values Survey data. Other site surveyed includes the world's largem producers in the industry. The authors of this study build on and developed work of Aaron Marcus and Emilie Gould in the web design of Cross-Cultural Strategies for Web Design (Armando Calabrese et al., 2012). The objective of this diploma thesis is to analyze whether cultural differences are manifested on a selected group of websites.

Efektivní implementace metod pro redukci dimenze v mnohorozměrné statistice / Efficient implementation of dimension reduction methods for high-dimensional statistics

Pekař, Vojtěch January 2015 (has links)
The main goal of our thesis is to make the implementation of a classification method called linear discriminant analysis more efficient. It is a model of multivariate statistics which, given samples and their membership to given groups, attempts to determine the group of a new sample. We focus especially on the high-dimensional case, meaning that the number of variables is higher than number of samples and the problem leads to a singular covariance matrix. If the number of variables is too high, it can be practically impossible to use the common methods because of the high computational cost. Therefore, we look at the topic from the perspective of numerical linear algebra and we rearrange the obtained tasks to their equivalent formulation with much lower dimension. We offer new ways of solution, provide examples of particular algorithms and discuss their efficiency. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Boží království v multidimenzionálním pochopení / Kingdom of God in a Multidimensional Understanding

Očenášová, Jaroslava January 2015 (has links)
The object and the aim of this thesis is to understand the Kingdom of God in a multidimensional model of reality that Karl Heim represented in his book Glaube und Denken (Belief and Thinking). The starting point of this work is a biblical glad tidings of God's Kingdom. The author is trying to do in the first part of this thesis at least a fractional analysis of the understanding of this message during a history and in the next part also the synthesis of its interpretations within the multidimensionality, which she is also striving to explain. The hypothesis of this work is that different interpretations of the Kingdom of God cannot be seen separately but simultaneously on the whole, in the light of the highest dimension, in the light of truth that is with God. At the end of this work is this hypothesis largely confirmed in interpretations of some theologists in the 20th century.

Návrh a aplikace modelu pro testování implementace nové části DWH na platformě Teradata / Proposal and application of model for testing DWH implementation on Teradata platform

Lysáček, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
The thesis focuses on application of theory of software testing in data warehousing area. The main goal of the thesis is an introduction of selected theory of software testing and analogical use of the theory in data warehousing environment. Part of the main goal is an introduction of architectonic model of testing process and later on focusing on part of testing which is problematic in data warehousing area. Partial goal of the thesis is validation of problematic part of the model using practical scenario. This partial goal is divided into two parts. First part focuses on requirements gathering and categorizing their priority. Second part focuses on demonstrating how project requirements, available resources and Teradata specific environment manipulate with the testing process. Theoretical part summarizes selected theory of software testing which is later applied in the area of data warehouse testing. The chapter introduces phases of data warehouse testing and specific goals of each testing phase. Chapter also describes model FURPS which is used to classify software quality dimensions a selected methods of requirements priority classification. An architectural model of testing process and its entities are described in the second part of theory. The theory then focuses on problematic part of the model which is requirements gathering and classification of their priority and demonstrates the influence of time, quality requirements and available resources on the overall process of testing. Practical part introduces a real-life scenario which demonstrates an application of described theory, namely requirements gathering, classification of requirements priorities and assigning dimensions of quality. The next part demonstrates the influence of available resources and requirements on the scope of testing. The outcome of the practical part of the thesis is that requirements gathering and classification of their priorities allows us to classify and sort scope of testing into logical and clear units, assign roles and their responsibilities and flexibly react on changes of project requirements. The thesis also points out that there are risks associated with changes of scope and emphasizes on the need of their evaluation.

Meření procesů provozu IS čerpacích stanic / Measuring operation processes of IS for petrol stations

Šebelík, Jan January 2007 (has links)
The thesis concerns with measurement of processes of support and maintenance of a specialized information system for petrol stations. It is a system for support of retail sale of fuel and other non-fuel goods. As the main objective of the thesis was selected design of set of metrics for measurement of these processes based on multidimensionality principle. It means that dimensions and indicators are designed separately and a set of recommended metrics is based on their combinations. It is possible to get additional metrics using other combinations. The theoretical basis of the thesis is the ITIL library -- which is an internationally respected standard for IT service management -- and metrics designed in other literature and diploma theses. The designed metrics are adapted for the analyzed environment and service information system, however, they should be usable in other environments as well. Selected metrics were implemented to the service information system and measured in a relatively wide sample of input data. This allowed evaluating usability of the metrics and comparison of the threshold values with the measured ones. The relationship of metrics and service agreements (SLAs) is described in the end of the thesis. Specific metrics suitable to be incorporated to SLA were designed including a real-life example.
