Discriminating and positive discriminating aspect in realization of human rights guarantees This work disserts of discriminating and positive discriminating aspect in realization of human rights guarantees. First chapter is a general introduction of human rights - inclusive of their characteristics, classification and essential attributes. Second chapter about history analyses evolution of human right from antique to present - above all question equal and unequal treatments. Central chapter this work is about discriminating Laws - first o of all about a new antidiscriminating Act in Czech Republic. Further expound terms such as direct discrimination, indirect discrimination and generally discrimination individual because their racial and ethnic, age, sex and gender, caste, religion, language, sexual orientation, disability. Next interprets a reverse discrimination or too opinion of political ideology etc. Last chapter includes guarantee protection of human rights - i.e. international, European, national realization of prohibition discrimination and enforcement of equal and unequal treatments. This work is discretion about positive effect of discriminating Laws also their possible difficulty.

1 Abstract - Discrimination against Roma in Czech Republic? The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the issue of discrimination against the Roma people in the Czech Republic, particularly from the perspective of the state - whether the Roma ethnic group in our country is indeed discriminated against and how the state copes with this possible racial discrimination. This theme became more important in connection with the riots in Šluknov in 2011. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. Chapter One deals with the history of Roma-related legal acts promulgated in our lands. It covers the history from the arrival of the Roma in our lands, the promulgation of legal acts during the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and Czechoslovakia, until the effort of the Communist Party to assimilate them. Chapter Two is focused on the discrimination against Roma in education. In this chapter I analyse the judgment of the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights on the case D. H. and others vs. Czech Republic. On this judgement, the court held that there was discrimination against the Roma concerning their access to education and violation of the European Convention on Human Rights and its protocols by the Czech Republic. Cizinci v České republice / Foreigners in the Czech Republic

This dissertation entitled Foreigners in the Czech Republic deals with the issue of legal stay of migrants from the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, but also other countries, so called third countries, in the Czech Republic. The author uses his experience and knowledge gained when dealing and communicating with foreigners at the Section of Asylum and Migration Politics of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, contact site in Příbram. The dissertation is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and it is based on studies of scientific literature and websites of Central Administration Offices. It contains a brief characteristics of multi-cultural and intercultural societies and focuses on the issue of communication. The main part focuses on the development of migration politics in the Czech Republic from its beginnings to date and legal aspects of foreigner residence in our country. The dissertation also lists and analyses conditions of all residence permits for individual groups of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The author elaborates on the Vietnamese community in connection with the questionnaire investigation. The practical part of the dissertation involves an analysis of foreigner residence from 1989 to date with an evaluation of statistical data and defines current changes in legislation related to foreigners along with new conditions of granting Czech citizenship. It also contains a questionnaire investigation with information on the Vietnamese minority, including reasons for residence of one of the largest minorities in the Czech Republic. One of the dissertation objectives is also to evaluate foreigner support provided by the state, but also non-profit organizations in order to propose strategies to improve migrants social status within the Czech majority society.

The master´s thesis of Gender discrimination in the labor market focuses on one of the current problems of our society, which has implications not only for women themselves. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts that relate to the above mentioned topics are defined first. Secondly, on the theoretical level, the discrimi-nation of women in the labor market is characterized there along with the legisla-tive regulation of this issue. Finally, the current situation on the labor market in our country is analyzed in terms of the possible occurrence of gender discrimina-tion. In the empirical part of the thesis are presented the results of the research survey, which was realized to find out the opinions of the respondents on the issues solved in this thesis. At the end of the thesis, some measures are suggested to alleviate gender discrimination in the labor market.

Resume v Aj The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the issue of gender discrimination in labor relations and its prohibition, enumerate the ways of legislation and compare legislation with the actual situation in the society. The thesis is composed of two parts divided into nine chapters, each of them dealing with diferent aspects of the issue in question. The first part is a sort of general parts, including introduction, historical development and sources of law. The second part, which could also be called special parts, then contains individual aspects of the right to equal treatment, demonstrated in specific cases, particularly judgments of the European Court of Justice. The first and second chapter deal with the history and development of anti- discrimination issues and define the basic concepts. The third and fourth chapter lists and describes the regulation of sex discrimination in international legal documents and documents of the European Union. The first part ends with the fifth chapter describing how legal constitution of the prohibition of discrimination on grounds of sex in the Czech Republic and then comparing it with the real situation in society. Race and Equality from the Perspective of Law In this thesis, the author deals with the phenomenon of racial discrimination from the perspective of law. In order to understand the issue, it is necessary to set discrimination in a broader socio-scientific context. Therefore, the author draws not only from legal sources, but also from other social sciences. Other important sources of information were the reports and recommendations of non-governmental organisations, which play an important and irreplaceable role in the area of anti-discrimination policy and its implementation. The main focus of this thesis, therefore, is comprehensive treatment of the issue, taking into account its interdisciplinary context. The content of the thesis is divided into four parts.
