Syfte: Mitt syfte med den här uppsatsen var att undersöka hur framtiden för detaljhandeln ser ut i Hofors. Metod: Genom en kombination av kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod samlade jag det empiriska material som behövde för att få en bild av läget i Hofors. Den kvalitativa metoden tog sitt uttryck i intervjuer med en stor del av dem som bedriver affärsverksamhet i Hofors kommun. Den kvantitativa metoden i sin tur bestod av en enkätundersökning bland dem som bor och arbetar i Hofors. Teori: Genom att läsa böcker och forskningsrapporter rörande handel och konsumentbeteende, så har jag kunnat föra fram viktiga teorier till vilka jag har kopplat min empiri.Slutsats: De som bor och arbetar i Hofors uppger att de ofta handlar sina dagligvaror i Hofors, men många väljer också att handla på andra orter ibland. Vad det gäller sällanköpsvaror så handlas de mer sällan i Hofors, då allt fler väljer att åka till närliggande handelsplatser för att köpa den typen av varor. Samtidigt är större delen av respondenterna nöjda med både kvalité och servicenivån i butikerna. Affärsägarna i Hofors kommun är övervägande positiva; både vad det gäller hur affärerna går nu jämfört med för några år sedan, men också vad det gäller framtiden för handeln i Hofors även om de finns dem som det går sämre för och de som inte tror på någon vidare utveckling. Jag tror att handeln i Hofors kan utvecklas men att det gäller att man satsar på att göra centrum mer attraktivt och att man måste få de boende i Hofors att se hur mycket vi faktiskt har på orten. Mycket hänger på att fler stannar kvar hemma för att handla istället för att åka iväg.

The client, Senselogic, had noticed an increased demand for an e-commerce system integrated into its product, SiteVision, something that did not previously exist. Senselogic wanted to integrate a third-party system to manage e-commerce. The problem was that there were very many e-commerce solutions to choose from. In order to select the best system it was necessary to evaluate the e-commerce systems and compare them to each other. To identify the elements that has to be included in an e-commerce system a study of literature was conducted. From the parts identified in the study of literature, a number of criteria were presented. Those criteria were then supplemented with additional criteria that Senselogic required of an e-commerce system before integrating it with SiteVision. Before the evaluation a number of test cases were created to test whether the ecommerce systems fulfilled to the criteria developed. These test cases were then used in the evaluation of the e-commerce systems while a test score was filled in. Then the evaluations of the different systems were compiled and compared in order to see which system best fulfilled the criteria. There was one system that scored higher than the others in the evaluation created. That was the system chosen to integrate with SiteVision.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the death of George Frideric Handel, one of the greatest composers of the Baroque period. There are and have been celebrations of his life and works world wide. Although he composed in every musical genre of his time, he is most famous for his oratorios, and in particular the Messiah. The details of his public life are well-known, but his private life remains obscure, especially in regard to his sexuality. It is of significance that he was associated with the Orpheus myth throughout his life, and also in one of his monuments. In the eighteenth century Orpheus was connected with both music and homosexuality. What the truth may be, Handel emerges as an even more human and interesting figure than ever. His authentic portraits are discussed in two sections: those with and those without his wig.
