Title: Efficiency of football clubs in Premier League Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to investigate the technical efficiency of Premier League clubs in the 2015/2016 season using a Data Envelopment Analysis approach. Determine which clubs worked efficiently and identify weaknesses of individual teams. Methods: The efficiency of each Premier League club is analysed by Data envelopment analysis (DEA). The efficiency is computed for input oriented CCR model (constant returns to scale) and BCC model (variable returns to scale). Results: The technical efficiency of each club in the 2015/2016 Premier League season is evaluated in the practical part of this thesis, with eight clubs achieving maximum efficiency for both CCR and BCC models. After many years of research have been developed, and then in January 2013 approved by the European Medicines Agency new multicomponent vaccine against meningococcal disease Group B Bexsero from Novartis. Meningococcal disease, because of its rapid progression and tragic consequences, a very dangerous disease. The aim of my thesis was to try to quantify the impact on the costs and benefits of the introduction of vaccination for the most vulnerable groups, namely children after birth to 4 years of age, by comparing the hypothetical vaccinated and unvaccinated cohorts. The work itself has not demonstrated at today's prices and epidemiological data Bexsero vaccines, cost efficiency. However, at a reduced cost or increased incidence of cases appear to vaccination Bexsero as well utilized resources.

This graduation theses is focused on education of the employees and measuring effectiveness of education in company XY. I made literary research in theoretical part, which is connected with this theme. I have shortly describe company and its education structure. Last part is focused on education of technicians. I described there analysis of education needs, aims of education, course form and adopted method for measuring effectiveness. Part of this theses is questionare investigation, which should clear up, if employees use learned knowledge in practice. Last chapter include evaluation process proposal, which include recommendations.

The main objective of this thesis is to provide management of specific company with valid information concerning intended investment in construction of a small photovoltaic power plant. Valuation of the investment is done using methods: payback period, discounted payback period, net present value, internal rate of return and profitability index. There is a comlete sensitivity analysis included in the thesis. Consumption of tobbaco is one of the key risk factors causing serious illness and early death, although that can be prevented effectively. The Unplugged intervention consists of a total of 12 lessons delivered within one academic year and is based on the Comprehensive Social Influence Model. Aims: To ascertain whether the Unplugged program has an impact on tobacco use, by means of the lifetime and 30-day prevalence indicators. To verify the duration of the program's measurable effect over time using retests. The thesis is focused on assessment of lean manufacturing methods, which are used in real company. The lean methods assessment is based on inventory management analysis in manufacturing company, which has these methods implemented. The thesis is divided into two main parts. Theoretical part maps the history of lean manufacturing, describes methods from which the concept consists of and compares approaches to lean methods analysis. Practical part of the thesis describes analysed company and lean methods, which are in the company implemented. In following part is presented analysis and the results, together with improvement proposal and own opinion regarding findings. The end of thesis summarizes results.

The diploma thesis is concerned with the education of officials of local government. The introductory part of the thesis summarizes theoretical knowledge about the education of employees of private corporations and analyses requirements on the education of officials of local government under the act No. 312/2002. The practical part of the thesis presents empirical knowledge based on original research in a selected local government office. The current education framework of officials of the office is examined, strengths and weaknesses are identified and specific recommendations for its enhancement are offered. Based on the acquired knowledge an improved comprehensive concept of education of local government officials is recommended.
