Sebekoučování-dosahování cílů metodou "malých kroků" / Self-coaching-attainment of goals by "small steps"

Englertová, Klára January 2014 (has links)
1 UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE FILOZOFICKÁ FAKULTA KATEDRA PSYCHOLOGIE DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE Klára Englertová Sebekoučování - dosahování cílů metodou "malých kroků" Self-coaching - attainment of goals by "small steps" Praha, 2014 Vedoucí práce: doc. MUDr. Mgr. Radvan Bahbouh, PhD. 2 ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with methods of achieving goals and methods of increasing efficiency within the postponed activities in the context of self-coaching and self-management and this specifically for university population, which is indicated by the high prevalence of this phenomenon. The strategy of "small steps" or "quick wins" is described as possible self- coaching and self-management intervention. The validity of Procrastination scale is verified within the overview study by comparison with different studying strategies divided into those with and without delay. At the same time the techniques increasing students' efficiency are mapped, based on their subjective responses. Within the experimental study is then verified "efficient sprint" method, as a strategy of intense concentration on a short-term actions to achieve the goal. There are observed differences in subjectively rated advance toward the target and perceived difficulty of its attainment, specifically in severely procrastinating students. The results show a...

Kohoutová, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to compare effective income tax rate in Czech and Slovak republic. After introduction follows chapter which describes the tax systems in both countries with focus on personal income tax and social insurance. The third chapter defines indicators of effective labour taxation which are used for international comparison. Chapter four is comparing effective labour taxation in Czech and Slovak republic based on indicators defined in previous chapter. The fifth chapter is analysing inequality of income distribution and influence of income tax on redistribution. The progressivity of personal income tax in Czech and Slovak republic is measured by interval and global progressivity method. The conclusion is summarizing the outcomes of the thesis and suggests improvements for Czech tax system.

Kvantové aspekty teorií velkého sjednocení / Quantum aspects of grand unified theories

Gráf, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
In this thesis we focus on Grand Unified Theories based on the SO(10) gauge group and, in particular, on the viability of the minimal nonsupersymmetric SO(10) models. Technically, this amounts to a detailed assessment of their vac- uum stability and related (non-)tachyonicity of their scalar spectrum. It turns out that the one-loop scalar mass corrections are important for elimination of the tachyonic behaviour of certain pseudo-Goldstone bosons. In this work these issues are briefly reviewed and two distinct methods for the calculation of the critical radiative corrections are discussed. More specifically, besides the revision of the effective potential approach to the 45 ⊕ 16 Higgs model also the standard perturbative theory method is employed for this purpose. The latter approach is particularly suitable for the more realistic 45 ⊕ 126 Higgs model since it appears to be practically impossible to construct the corresponding effective potential in that case. Consequently, diagrammatic methods are used to calculate the SO(10)- invariant leading scalar quantum correction to the problematic pseudo-Goldstone masses in the 45 ⊕ 126 model. 1

Chování portfolií na efektivních a neefektivních trzích / Portfolios behaviour on efficient and inefficient markets

Kováčová, Iveta January 2013 (has links)
Title: Portfolios behaviour on efficient and inefficient markets Author: Iveta Kováčová Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: Doc. RNDr. Jan Hurt, CSc., KPMS MFF UK Abstract: In this thesis we summarize the results concerning the construction of optimal portfolios. We introduce the geometric representation of the portfolios in the case that the assumptions about an efficient market are violated. We perform a technical analysis of the portfolio on the given data by using the program Mathematica 8.0. and compare an efficient set of the portfolio at different investment strategies.

Projektová metoda na 1.stupni základní školy / Project method at primary school

Vilímová, Ivana January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis: "Project method at primary school" deals with the development of new knowledge and skills through the project method, analysis of the quality of its use and possibilities of its application in practice. The work discusses how teachers work on projects with new information, how they develop new knowledge and skills of their students when using the project method. Furthermore it brings author's own project the purpose of which was to allow students to invent new knowledge on their own. The project method at the first school can be carried out by either short-term or long-term projects. Effectivity and quality of teaching is influenced by versatile development of personality of each student. Results of the questionnaire survey proves that the teachers are trying to ensure students enough opportunities for development of key competencies. They strive to put students in the working mood and try to build rich information background. Teachers knowingly consider these aspects however they are not convinced whether it is sufficient for the students. Results of student questionnaire captures how students perceive the work with new information acquired during the project. The project awakens students' interest in these information even for the future. When working on the project students...

Spurná, Hana January 2014 (has links)
TITLE: Manpower Management Specification AUTHOR: Hana Spurná DEPARTMENT: The School Management Center SUPERVISOR: Mgr.Irena Lhotková, PhD. Abstract: (angl.) The final thesis deals with the issue of leadership management by means of selected examples from literature, documents, internet, study of opinions and questions of both international and Czech experts in the field of leadership management and finally by means of analysis of the term leadership management with focus on development and taking into consideration the life and professional context. The goal of the project is to understand the sense and formulation - definition of the term leadership management, overview of historic development of the term on the ground of theoretical information, a comparison of experience in the field of leadership management in the view of selected experts. This research is based on induction. On the ground of analysis of expert publications of people who were or still are active in the field of management and who have the necessary knowledge and experience in the field of leadership management. The final thesis strives for a more extensive research of opinions on the widely defined term of leadership management, and aims at bringing as much information about it as possible. Key words: leadership management, leadership,...

Efektivní aritmetika eliptických křivek nad konečnými tělesy / Efektivní aritmetika eliptických křivek nad konečnými tělesy

Skalický, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
The thesis deals with arithmetics of elliptic curves over finite fields and methods to improve those calculations. In the first part, algebraic geometry helps to define elliptic curves and derive their basic properties including the group law. The second chapter seeks ways to speed up these calculations by means of time-memory tradeoff, i.e. adding redundancy. At last, the third part introduces a wholly new curve form, which is particularly effective for such purposes.

Komunikace mezi učitelem a žáky na primární škole / Communication between teacher and pupils at a primary school

Česáková, Renata January 2013 (has links)
Diploma thesis named "Communication between teacher and pupils at a primary school" considers adults attitude to children, specifically teachers attitude to pupils. It describes the development of attitude to children as an important factor which shapes educational attitude to children in a context of current changes in child education. The thesis defines two basic attitudes - the collegial and authoritarian. It provides information on components allowing an effective reception of information, which is neccessary to understand the meaningfulness of the collegial attitude. It characterizes effective and ineffective communicational skills that can be found in these educational attitudes. The practical part is an action research that maps abilities and skills of starting teacher which follow the colegial educational attitude in practice. It tries to assess the success rate of attempts of using the collegial attitude in teaching, which is being done through observation, self-reflection, observation of other pedagogues and getting feedback from them.

Motivace žáků mladšího školního věku / Motivating pupils of younge school age

Pokorná, Kristýna January 2013 (has links)
My thesis deals with the motivation of younger school aged pupils. The theoretical part contains explanation of the term of motivation, characteristics of a child younger school age, specifics of motivation in education and possible ways of application in teaching. Here I also mention pros and cons of the use of rewards and punishments and typology of the child, which has an impact on the ways and means of motivating pupils. Finally in this part I devote to the motivation (pupils) to movement activities. The empirical part of my thesis is based on theoretical knowledge. I find out performance motivation of pupils using questionnaires for pupils in fifth classes. I used the method of interview to collect data of the frequency and ways of use class teacher motivation during the class. These data I gave in perspective, to find out how teachers' motivation affects performance motivation of pupils.

Is Gamekeeping in the Czech Republic an Institutionalized Form of Poaching? / Je česká myslivost institucionalizovanou formou trvale udržitelného pytláctví?

Ambrožová, Zuzana January 2010 (has links)
This paper aims at unveiling the true nature of the Czech hunting Act by modeling the competition for property rights characteristics among gamekeepers, the subsidized group, and other users of land based resources, the taxed group. We show that the subsidized gamekeepers' group seeking to decrease public opposition tries to obfuscate the true goal of its profit-oriented efforts by supporting relatively less revealing technically imperfect institutions. It does so by advertising artificially created qualities such as tradition and public interest. What hunters try to achieve technically is to shift the reference points of desire of the other users of land-based resources in order to disable them from perceiving total policy costs. As a result taxpayers' intrinsic advantage is undermined, and contrary to the efficient redistribution hypothesis a Pareto-inferior outcome is reached. Moreover taking full account of all costs of rent-seeking, including incomplete externality internalization, institutional rigidity and created moral hazard, total social costs, connected with the outcome of competition for property rights, are not minimized. Regarding empirical testing of the theoretical propositions, analyzing hunting statistics we prove that whereas the acknowledged public goals are not met, the technically imperfect Act 449/2001 Coll. creates moral hazard in favor of gamekeepers' private interests.
