This master’s thesis deals with information system Nika Pharmacies. Based on the theoretical background and good familiarity with the running of the company, will analyze the current state of information system. The main part is practical, based on the analytical part. The aim of this thesis is to improve or change information system, which lead to improvement of the current situation and risk elimination.

This master thesis is focused on assessing the situation regarding the enterprise information system and its processes. Theoretically describes the topic of information systems and their use in the enterprise. The assessment itself is determined by appropriate analysis and on the basis of the requirements of the draft amendment is designed to shape the future information society.

The thesis focuses on determination of cash flow and evaluation of economic efficiency of the development project of the residential construction in Brno. The theoretical part deals with basic evaluation of economic efficiency of investment project including the most used indicators and gives insight into the developing activity including risks that companies must count with in such projects. The practical part deals with the particular project where cash flows are determined and its economic efficiency is evaluated.

Diploma thesis deal with effectiveness of social service's funding. Its aim is to describe and to evaluate the system of social service's funding. Thesis focuses on two providers of subsidies - Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and regions. In theoretical part describes the method for allocating funds between social services. It is based largely on publicly available documents of regions and MLSA. In the practical part presentation development of social service's expenditures between 2007 - 2013. Diploma thesis subjects social service's expenditure to analysis based on 4E criteria. Fulfilling the criteria of effectiveness is examine by using the correlations method. On selection social services also apply the method of multi-criteria decision. To set criteria, indicators and their weights co-operate professionals from the relevant department of the Regional Authority. Thesis includes several theoretical concepts, on which basis are outlined possibilities of change in the way of social service's funding. This thesis also deal with legislative change that occurred during its processing. It describes also a new method for allocation of public resources between social services.

The thesis deals with the assessment of the financial health of the selected firm by using selected indicators of financial analysis. In the first part will be defined the basic concepts, describe each of the methods and formulas. It will also be carried out using the indicators of financial analysis itself, which are listed in the theory. In the last section will be evaluated by the proposals, which were listed in the Bachelor's thesis and subsequently be proposed new measures to improve the problems found.

Innovative financial instruments in the Czech Republic and their hypothetical use in the field of energy efficiency are analysed and assessed in this thesis. We address lim- ited awareness about multiple benefits of energy efficiency improvements and also emerging innovative financial instruments that are promoted by the European Com- mission as a way to multiply impacts of limited public budgets. Then we identify a suitable segment, Czech residential housing stock and public support of insulation, and compare several forms of possible public support in this field. As the main driver of space heating costs, we predict the future development of heat prices, and assess po- tential energy savings resulting from renovations. Finally, we assess and also simulate the potential of such an initiative and identify four suitable settings of the innovative financial instrument for a majority of stakeholders. Our findings support an idea that this innovative financial instrument offers a valuable alternative to traditional grants. It also suggests that such an initiative can be interesting for a private sector as well as a public sector, with benefits to public budgets, equity investors, households and many other stakeholders. Renewable energy resources in the Czech Republic, especially photovoltaics, have experienced a great boom in the past few years. The investment in the photovoltaic plants has been and will be a very promising field for investors unless too many legislative barriers are adopted to make the investments unattractive. This diploma thesis therefore elaborates a real world business case of a solar power plant. Within the business case a sensitivity analysis is being made to evaluate the influences of external factors that may have a major impract on the effectiveness and returnability of the project. Conclusions made in the analysis help to make the desicion whether to realize or not to realize the project.

This diploma thesis aims to describe Czech health care system participants` motivations and impact and meaningfulness of setting up regulatory payments on supply of health care. It also attempts to suggest other meanings to rising effectiveness of whole system. This work is based on theoretical concepts of various health care systems and endeavours to expose their positive and also negative features. The theory of health care markets comes out from works of Stiglitz (1997) and Arrow (1963). They focused rather on US, but this thesis aims to use this knowledge also in conditions of Czech Republic. Thesis sum up expenditures on health care during the time in Czech Republic, compare with expenditures abroad and estimate their trend in future. The central point of this paper is the analysis of the introduction of regulatory payments and its influence on concrete types of health services and on the consumption of drugs. It includes also a short survey.

Expenditures on water are the significant part of aggregate household spending and their height depends on a design of tariff for public water supply and sewage services among others. This diploma work describes different water pricing structures used in foreign and shows how each structure can be used to achieve objectives -- efficiency, sustainability and equity. The Czech system of price making is referred to as efficient but unfair because it doesn't take in consideration households with low incomes. Because of the continual rise in prices affected by fulfilment standard of the European Union are expected future problems with social acceptability of water prices. The goal of the work is to find possible modification of regulation which might solve this problem.

The diploma thesis is concerned with the issue of investments decision and capital investment planning. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate a possible investment in the underground gas storage Rožná. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part deals with the characterization and terms defining in the field of investments decision. It also mentions the methods how to evaluate the effectiveness of investments decision. The second theoretical part discusses the strategic analysis of gas industry with the emphasis on using of the underground gas storages in the Czech Republic and in other countries within the European Union. The third part analyzes the effectiveness evaluation of the investment while applying the terms of both theoretical parts.
