Model finančních toků evropských fotbalových klubů / Cash Flow Model of European Football Clubs

Title: The Cash Flow Model of European Football Clubs Objectives: Using the most updated sources while analysing revenues, costs, and economic results, the main objective of the thesis was to inspect the current cash flow of the first league European football clubs. A partial objective was to create a model based on theoretical and practical findings quoted in the final results. The model demonstrates the most important cash flow among football clubs and other subjects. Another partial objective was to calculate the success rate of respective league competitions based on their economic resources. Methods: To obtain relevant information, a secondary data analysis was used. Also, a comparative analysis method was employed. Then, the researched secondary data was processed and presented in the final part by means of graphs and tables. Results: The revenue that brought the largest number of financial resources for football clubs was broadcasting rights. However, those revenues were significant only for a particular group of the most attractive leagues. For a much bigger portion of the leagues, sponsoring revenues turned out to be more important, which also applied to Czech clubs. "Monetization of the internet content and its effect to the blogs reception" diploma thesis deals with journalism on the verge of the second decade of 21st century. Thesis describes changes, which are happening right now. It focuses on problems faced by traditional media and possibilites which are being opened for more agile on-line media. With the help of public opinion surveys, it shows views of the media consumers as well as those of media producers representatives. It also maps possible ways to monetize content as is advertising model, micropayments model, freemium or paywall and expounds advantages and disadvantages of each of them. In the next part it shows, how the monetization is used on different case studies, such as web server Motejlek.com, Slovakian media content subscription system Piano and successful American project The Huffington Post, which combines news aggregator with comments section and blogs. In its end the thesis is using the gathered knowledge and data to show strategies, which might be useful in today's fast changing world of media and on the other side shows weaknesses of some other concepts which author of the thesis doesn't accept as viable. First part of the dissertation contains the theoretical and methodological summary of the research topic, which include our theoretical discussion resulting from our concrete research. In the second part is presented selection of our articles, which were published or accepted to the press. The topic of the dissertation are migrants, who set up their business and their business activities. Specific attention is paid to migrants economic activities in space, concretely the types of economic concentration. The summary part of the dissertation introduces three theoretical and methodological approaches to the research to this topic, which have been in the research interest since the 70s till now. They were cultural, structural and individual approaches. The aim of this summary is linking these approaches with our research and answering the question, whether it is possible to use these approaches and theories and models resulted from these three approaches in the environment of the Czech Republic. "Educational institutions: business in turbulent times". Diploma thesis named "Educational institutions: business in turbulent times" is focused on actual problems concerning business of adult education institutions during the time of the turbulence. That time is being mentioned as the period during and after economic crisis, which is characterized by constant change, uncertainty and chaos. In diploma thesis there is described the impact of turbulence on the market of Czech Republic and implied paths for educational institutions to proceed in order to remain on new market environment. There are presented new concepts for management of educational institutions in terms of strategy, sales, financial and marketing. The theory is supported by taken over research regarding actual problems and trends. The main practical part of diploma thesis is econometric model, which implies the relation between investments to adult education and some macroeconomic indicators. The essential source of data for model calculation was the database of Czech statistical office. The third part adds some information about the UN approach to the events in this territory. The fourth chapter is devoted to foreign policy orientation. The next two chapters are the most significant ones: the fifth part deals with development of economy and current economic situation, the sixth part discusses foreign trade. Tourism is expected to be the world's future. The most important aspects of tourism are particularly the effects on GDP, employment, capital investment and the balance of payments. The important role of tourism in European economies is acknowledged by the European Union itself, which seeks to create a common tourism policy. The purpose of this work is to define the EU tourism policy, primarily in the terms of legal instruments and regional policy, and determine whether and to what extent that policy has its impact on tourism in the Czech Republic. The first chapter will explain the basic concepts and definitions of tourism and its economic importance for the economy. The second section will describe the development of European tourism policy; for better understanding this part will also define EU institutions responsible for tourism, their competencies and used instruments to promote tourism, including the Structural Funds. The third part of the thesis will provide basic information about legislation and strategic documents in tourism in the Czech Republic, but the central part of the chapter will be devoted to the influence of the European Union to the tourism policy in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter presents the EU's regional policy as a tool to influence the tourism policy in the Czech Republic and its regions.

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the position of Italy from the socio-economic point of view in the EU in context of its most important aspect -- differentiation of the regions of North-Centre and South. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the comparative profile of Italy in EU including the causes and the development of the Italian social and economic specifics -- the high public debt, the slow economic growth rate and labour market problems. The basic macroeconomic and labour market indicators are used to determine the position of Italy in EU. The second chapter is aimed at the analysis of the primary causes, development and the current state of the Italian dualism on a theoretical level. The third chapter is dedicated to the description of Italian dualism by means of the concrete socio-economic indicators and deals with the comparison on the regional level. The part of this chapter deals with the efectiveness of application of EU regional policy in Italy.

Diploma thesis studies macroeconomical and fiscal progress of the Slovac Republic from the year 1993 with the strong focus on reformative arrangements in the area of public finance in the time period 2003 and 2004. The content targets evaluation of the causes of the refomative packet and his significance for the following progress of the slovac economy and fiscal area. The first part of the thesis evaluates economic policy till the year 2002, which passes over against background of the transformation process of the national economy, together with the identification of the status which led to the preparation and confirmation of the reformative legislation. Next part of the work studies the content of the accepted arrangaments itself and changes, which were brought to the Slovac Republic. The third part of the thesis follows the analytical evaluation of the real changes from the macroeconomical and fiscal part of view. Final part extends the knowledge with the international format through the comparation of the similar reform projects in Hungary, Estonia and Latvia and at the same time evaluates the stage and potential risks of the current economical and fiscal progression of the Slovac Republic

The theoretical part is first given a brief analysis of the leading authors of publications focused on balneology and tourism. It also deals with the historical development of balneology and position of balneology in the national economy. In its practical part is focused on definition of regions where the balneology is significant. Followed by analysis of selected spa regions at the administrative district of municipalities with extended powers. In the selected regions are defined major spa companies, whose economic's indicators is analysed the importance of localization in the region. Thesis contains a description of balneology in regions of Czech Republic and komplex decsription of selected spa regions.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the actual implications of the Global Financial Crisis to the Czech economy. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the causes of crisis and the way how the crisis split from the USA to Europe and other countries. The second part deals with the impact of the financial crisis on the Czech Republic. The impact of the financial crisis to the individual areas of the Czech economy is described as well as the reaction of monetary policy and government including the fiscal impact. The third part deals with the possibility of the Czech Republic's entry to the European Monetary Union in the light of current financial crisis.
