Välmående och olika träningsformer : Skillnader i välmående mellan de som tränar kondition, styrka och båda dessa träninsformer / Well-being and different types of exercise : Differences in well-being for those who exercise endurence, strenght or both

Nilsson, Joel January 2015 (has links)
The physical activity in the population has reduced and low mental well-being has become a big problem in the country. This paper is therefore interested in study differences in wellbeing in groups with different training habits. Groups that trains either strength, endurance or both was chosen. This because if someone of these forms is stronger associated with wellbeing it could be recommended for those who would like to make their well-being higher. This paper was also interested to see if sport in organized form or training with a friend or group was associated with higher well-being than those who did not. To find this out a survey about forms of training and well-being was used to collect data. The results was analyzed in spss and it was shown that the most groups in this study hade a relatively high well-being and only small differences between the groups could be found. The groups who were highly active in endurance training, was member in organized sport and those who trained with a friend or in a group had the highest well-being. Conclusion: to get a higher well-being with training that form which the person is motivated is recommended but if that persons only goal is to achieve ha higher well-being and not so much time would like to be spent on training endurance training can be recommended because to be highly active in that was associated with better well-being than strength training. To be part of organized sport and to train with a friend or in group can also be recommended.

11-15 metų netaisyklingos laikysenos vaikų liemens raumenų ištvermės ir stuburo paslankumo kaita, taikant stuburo stabilizavimo pratimus / Change of trunk muscles endurance and spinal flexibility of 11-15 year- old children with poor posture, using stabilization exercises

Podlinevienė, Jovita 17 July 2014 (has links)
The aim of the research was: to evaluate spinal stabilization exercise’s effect for trunk muscles endurance and spine flexibility of 11 – 15 year old children with poor posture. For carrying out the research the following objectives were pursued: To analyze the posture formation, its problems and the correction peculiarities referring to scientific literature; to assess and compare trunk muscles endurance changes in control and experimental groups using S. McGill static trunk muscle endurance test; to assess and compare the changes in spinal flexibility of both control and experimental groups using spinal flexibility tests. 11 - 15-year-old children with poor posture from Children’s Rehabilitation Sanatorium “Palangos Gintaras” took part in the research. There were two identical groups – experimental and control. With the help of this experiment it was aimed to clear out the effect of spinal stabilization exercises for the trunk muscles endurance and spinal flexibility. An additional stabilization exercise program was applied to the experimental group. The investigation was going from the 9 December, 2013 to 28 February, 2014. The results of the research revealed the impact of the experiment on the children. It was clear after analyzing the data. The experimental group which experienced the spinal stabilization exercises, endurance... [to full text]

Changes in skeletal muscle TNF-<font face=\"symbol\">a e IL-10 production of post myocardial infarction heart failure rats: possible anti-inflammatory effect of moderate endurance training.

Batista Junior, Miguel Luiz 31 October 2007 (has links)
Recently, several studies has demonstrated immune activation during heart failure (HF) development, notably through changes in plasmatic levels pro and anti-inflammatory cytokines. For this reason, therapeutic interventions have been used with targeting to modulate this cytokine action and in this way, endurance training may be promising. In our study, we evaluated the effect of 8 weeks of endurance training program in a treadmill for post-myocardial (MI) HF rats. Despite increased of levels and gene expression (TNF-<font face=\"symbol\">a, IL-6 e IL10) in soleus muscle of post-MI HF rats, endurance training was able to reverse this change, showing similar values that as founded in control group (without HF). In this way, our study suggests that moderate endurance training demonstrated anti-inflammatory effect in post-MI HF rats, and it may play an important role as therapeutic in rehabilitation programs of cardiovascular disease.
