The study of recruiting strategy of private college under the trend of de-populization¡Xa case study of Kaomei college of health care and management

Chu, Yan-Chang 15 August 2011 (has links)
Abstract Education in Taiwan today face the most serious problem is that rapid fertility decline. The population is concentrated to the metropolitan area, relocation of villages and towns of the young population. Aging seriously dropped the number of students in remote areas, while the tertiary institutions have increased rapidly. Therefore, the private colleges will face the dilemma of low enrollment, the education market today liberalization in recent years, the number of additional colleges and universities nearly saturated, from the 1986-2008 school year, the number of colleges and universities has reached 162. School for the sake of sustainable development, to avoid being out of the market must change the current mode of operation. Private colleges and universities must master their own unique advantages, improve teaching quality, and to make appropriate use of marketing strategies to cope with enroll and enroll management insufficient predicament. The purpose of this study, that is the object from the private post-secondary school students (graduates close to 300-500 in the name of the country) questionnaire data and other high homogeneity of Nursing (1-2 home) Admission strategy, for the respondents By using quantitative analysis of questionnaire data, this research through quantitative survey data collected in the synchronization of the views of students and graduates around the country in about the views of school choice to students in-depth understanding of the key decision factors, to find private post-secondary school Admission policies should be Note that matters.

A journey of determination and hope: Returning to high school after dropping out

Garcia, Ernest 01 January 2020 (has links)
This phenomenological study explored the reasons and attitudes of people who dropped out of high school and then later returned to complete their high school educations. In order to gather data for this study, interviews were conducted with eleven students who returned to complete their high school education after having earlier dropped out. An analysis was completed regarding the reasons that led those high school students to drop out of high school, and of the motivations and struggles that led them back to school. Individuals who return to high school and earn a high school credential avail themselves of additional opportunities, such as college or vocational training. It is undeniable that increasing the high school graduation rate in the United States would be beneficial to the country. Not only would an increase in the graduation rate be good for society in general, but graduation would also benefit each graduate on a personal level, even if he or she graduated a year or more after their initial cohort. Consequently, given the national dropout problem, the purpose of this study was to describe the experiences, motivations, and struggles of individuals who dropped out of high school and then returned to complete their high school education. Hopefully, this study will result in a better understanding of their paths and ultimately reduce high school dropout rates.

A Framework for MultiFactorAuthentication on Mobile Devices.- A Bayesian Approach

Ezeani, Callistus January 2019 (has links)
The most authentication mechanism used in certain domains like home banking, infrastructure surveillance, industrial control, etc. are commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions. These are packaged solutions which are adapted to satisfy the need of the purchasing organization, Microsoft, for example, is a COTS software provider. Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is COTS. MFA in the context of this research provides a framework to improve the available techniques. This framework is based on biometrics and as such presents, an alternative to complement the traditional knowledge-based authentication techniques. With an overview based on the probability of failure to enroll(FTE), this research work evaluates available approaches and identifies promising avenues in utilizing MFA in modern mobile devices. Biometrics removes heuristic errors and probability adjustment errors by providing the full potential to increase MFA in mobile devices. The primary objective is to Identify discrepancies and limitation commonly faced by mobile owners during authentication.
