Komplex opatření v povodí Javornického potoka pro zlepšení kvality vody v malé vodní nádrži Rosnička / Set of arrangements in Javornický stream floodplain for Rosnička pond water quality improvement

Špaček, Ondřej January 2022 (has links)
This thesis deals with the projection of water management and erosion control measures in the Javornický stream floodplain to improve water quality in the Rosnička pond near the town of Svitavy. In the teoretical part, the author summarized current practices in the areas of small river restorations and protection against soil erosion in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the analasis of the area was first made, including the analysis of natural conditions, hydroecological monitoring of watercourses according to the HEM 2014 method and quantification of soil loss conditions according to the USLE method. Then, revitalization measures on the Javornický stream were designed to improve the self-purification of water and the restoration of ground water in the floodplain, as well as two variants of erosion control measures on agricultural areas to reduce the input of sediments into the hydrographic network. Finally, conceptual and technical recommendations for the implementation of these measures were formulated, as a basis for planning and decision-making of the political leadership of the town of Svitavy.

Real-time vizualizace povětrnostních vlivů v terénu / Realtime Weather in a Landscape Visualisation

Vlček, Adam January 2009 (has links)
Thanks to the increasing computation power the complexity and dynamism of virtual reality is continuously improving. This work aims to examine influences of weather in a landscape and the means to simulate and dynamically visualize them in real time on the current personal computer hardware. The main goal is to find quick well looking approximations rather than a complex physically correct simulation. The work covers using modern programmable GPU not only for visualization but also as a powerful simulation instrument. The main topic is water movement in the terrain and its effects on it like erosion, snow melting and moisture impact on vegetation. This requires dynamic terrain texturing and algorithms supporting fast geometry and normals updates.

Návrh protierozní a protipovodňové ochrany v zájmovém území reagující na klimatickou změnu / Design of erosion and flood control measures in the study case area responding to climate change

Mrázek, Vojtěch January 2022 (has links)
The aim of the work is to design anti-erosion and flood protection in the area of interest KÚ Lukavec to the current state and responding to climate change. At the same time, it is necessary to assess the degree of erosion threat to the soil and analyze runoff conditions in critical areas. The introductory part summarizes information about the studied area and methods for calculation. The erosion analysis is processed in the design part and suitable anti-erosion and anti-flood measures will be proposed. DesQ-MaxQ software was used to calculate the runoff conditions, graphical outputs and analysis of erosion conditions were created in the ArcGIS environment.

Hranice globální daňové spolupráce: Neúspěšná vyjednávání na půdě OSN / Limits to Global Tax Cooperation: Unsuccessful Negotiations in the United Nations

Březovská, Romana January 2017 (has links)
In view of the adopted SDGs in 2015 and their focus on domestic resource mobilisation, this diploma thesis attempts to fulfil two main objectives. First, it aims to describe and analyse the current tax system often labelled not only by developing states as unfit for the 21st century's globalized economy. Second, it tries to provide deeper understanding of reasons that lead certain countries not to support the creation of a UN Tax Body, the only platform where all countries could participate in the negotiating of tax harmonization on an equal footing. Three hypotheses based on a neorealist, liberal and functional regime theory are put forward. Using data obtained from interviews conducted with delegates at the UN, it can be concluded that the organisational infrastructure is the power reflection. While the OECD BEPS mechanism is recognised by many as efficient and sufficient, this is possible due to the enabling power relations that exclude more than hundred developing countries from the negotiation of international tax rules. It can thus be concluded that the current OECD mechanism does not address existing policy loopholes that cause losses to developing countries. To match the SDGs' rhetoric with reality, policy-makers should create a more inclusive and universally agreed on standard-setting...

Dvojznačnost a abstrakce v mongolských hádankách: etnolingvistická analýza / Ambiguity and Abstraction in Mongolian Riddles: An Ethnolinguistic Analysis

Mikos, Rachel January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to create an ethnolinguistic analysis of two corpuses of Mongolian riddles (Lovor and Ölziikhutag 1990 and Ölziikhutag 2013). The work contains over one hundred riddles appended with translations and morpheme-to-morpheme glosses. The riddles are further analyzed on a phonetic level, including descriptions of specific sound patterns and alliterations, as well as their lexical and semantic properties. This complex analysis, in conjunction with findings gained in field research, renders possible the description of a specific language of Mongolian riddles, characterized by the frequent occurrence of borrowings, the presence of semantically and phonetically 'damaged' words, ideophones, metaphors and many specific cultural expressions. The language of Mongolian riddles also often skilfully exploits overt abstractions, allusions, and lexical and morphological ambiguities, in addition to other techniques which facilitate conceptual mapping and cognitive blending. This linguistic analysis makes possible a description of the various aspects of the worldview of Mongolian nomads concealed in these riddles, including the characteristic linking of the 'sacred and profane,' as well as the relationship of these riddles to mythology and religious ideas.

Jazykové chování slovenských rodilých mluvčích v Čechách / Language behaviour of native speakers of Slovak in Bohemia

Kříž, Adam January 2020 (has links)
The thesis covers sociolinguistic and psycholinguistic aspects of Czech and Slovak language relations. To both fields, it contributes in the form of own empirical research. At the centre of attention are native speakers of Slovak living long-term in Czechia and their language behaviour under this setting in relation to Czech and Slovak. Given that two languages in question are genetically very close and mutual intelligible, the actual language behaviour of the described population is not strictly predetermined by the social norms (Dickins, 2009). However, there are also conditions supporting the accommodation to Czech (Sloboda, 2005). The thesis focuses on the identification of factors influencing language choice and on the impacts of such factors on the psychlinguistic processing of Slovak and Czech words. The sociolinguistic part builds on questionnaire-based surveys, such as those conducted by Sloboda (2006). The own questionnaire survey was carried out via web. The data from 651 respondents were assessed, all from native speakers of Slovak having grown up in Slovakia and commencing their stay in Czechia after the age of 18. The data revealed that Slovak is used more than Czech, that Czech is more often perceived, that the use of Czech is more common in the communication with strangers or in...
