No. of bitstreams: 1 ANGÉLICA MARIA ALVES VASCONCELOS.pdf: 1010534 bytes, checksum: f34a3da74e5e69cd5ee6d89ac305023d (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-11-24 / The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze, through a phenomenological hermeneutic approach, of literary work Sleepwalking Land of Mia Couto, from the perspective of language as an aesthetic phenomenon and as a process of "essentialization", under the theoretical concepts of the being, especially based on Martin Heidegger who defined: "language is the home of the being". It aims to understand the dynamics of the work writing and literary writing, divided into two metonymic cores that dialogue and intercommunicate in the dynamics of the artistic process: the macrocosm and the microcosm. The first part of the fictional language on the human universe; the second refers to the fictional itself, language as an artistic product. It also seeks to understand the process of construction of the literary work. Notes the language of the characters of Terra Sonâmbula, especially of the protagonists, but not only of them, searching for clues that indicate which ones have greater possibilities of awareness and in what stage they are in this attempt to glimpse their own being. Through their trajectories are revealed the internal and external interferences that influence, positively or negatively, the process of essentialization of these characters.

Etude des processus psychosociaux de disqualification de la déviance : des relations intergroupes aux rapports interpersonnels / Study of the psychosocial processes of deviance disqualification : from intergroup to interpersonal relations

Dominique, Annabelle 17 December 2014 (has links)
This thesis investigates psychosocial processes which underlie deviance disqualification, by testing the transposition of processes well known in intergroup relations (essentialization and dehumanization) to interpersonal relations. Two deviances are studied: being voluntarily childfree (study 1: N = 322; & study 2: N = 245) and working in gender atypical occupations (study 3: N = 247). Stereotype endorsement, essentialization and dehumanization are measured by questionnaires. A wide disqualification of people voluntary childlessness is observed, making parenthood compulsory for men and women. Every woman would be “naturally” a mother while fatherhood would be more a result of a “choice”. By contrast, people who work in gender atypical occupations suffer a mixed disqualification, even ambivalent. Beyond these differences, correlational results show great similarities between exogroup‟s and deviant‟s disqualification. Indeed, deviant people are discredited by a (psychologizing and moralizing) stereotype and rejected (regarded as different) through essentialization. The more someone is deviant, the less he is attractive, without actually being fully stigmatized (dehumanized). The stability of the model remains to be tested for other deviances.

La vie intime, amoureuse et sexuelle à l'épreuve de l'expérience des personnes en situation de handicap : l'appréhender et l'accompagner / Intimacy, love and sexuality throughout the experience of disabled people : comprehending and supporting

Fournier, Jennifer 21 June 2016 (has links)
Freedom of knowing intimacy, sexuality and love participates to subjective construction and to interpersonal relationships’ building. It’s not equally accessible to everyone. Physical disabled people living in special institutions painfully experience it. Their functional dependency leads to a daily need for help and care given by professionals who intervene in each and every aspect of their life. As a consequence, professionals are concerned by some dimensions of intimate, sexual or love life of people they are caring of.If the main designs of the PhD is to highlight experiences and wishes of physical disabled people living in institutions towards intimacy, love and sexuality, we are also interested in what professionals say about this. Interviews conducted with disabled people and professionals reveal a divergence leading to question the the nature of the gap existing between disabled people’s and professional’s speeches and how we can understand it.From then on, three methods are implemented to collect data: administrating a questionnaire, observing supervision groups and animating focus groups. Data collected show that disabled people’s quest for recognition and “normality” faces the negative influence of their living context hindering their freedom and the persistence of professionals’ essentialist view of disability leading to inadequate practices.

Schooling of children with disabilities in primary schools in Lebanon : what representations for what teachers’ practices?

Ghanem, Hiba 20 June 2019 (has links)
In a social and school context that seeks to be inclusive, many factors hinder a quality schooling process for children with disabilities in mainstream schools in Lebanon. Social representations and practices with regard to these children are the most remarkable signs. This thesis investigates the representations made by teachers of children with disabilities and their actualpedagogical practices, in order to understand the interactions between both parties as well as the teachers’ impact on the success of schooling. It also seeks to reflect the position of the Lebanese School on the diversity of children. This research adopts a comprehensive approach. It is based on the observation of educational and pedagogical practices as well as focus groups and comprehensive interviews with teachers. The use of these methodologies allows, on the one hand, the apprehension of the behavior of teachers and their pedagogical approaches; and on the other hand, the analysis of theirdiscourses and exploration of the social representations that unconsciously structure their ways of thinking and acting. The cross-sectional analysis of data thus highlights the brakes and levers for the implementation of the schooling process. The crossed interpretation of practices and representations finally makes it possible to understand what could lead teachers to modify their conceptions, to transform their usual practices and to consider the possibility developing new ones, more coherent with the inclusive aim.
