Nors yra nemažai straipsnių, tyrimų, skirtų viešojo administravimo etikai, visgi, viešojo administravimo etikos tyrinėjimų kontekste nėra įtraukiamas vienas svarbus elementas- etikos infrastruktūra. Įtakos tam turėjo keletas priežasčių. Pirmiausiai reikia pasakyti, jog tai ganėtinai naujas darinys, atsiradęs XXa. paskutiniame dešimtmetyje. Antra, tyrimus apsunkindavo ir sistemos kompleksiškumas, kuomet skirtingų sistemos elementų analizė galėjo būti atlikta tik platesnėse studijose. Dėl šių priežasčių tyrimų, nagrinėjančių Lietuvos viešojo administravimo etikos infrastruktūrą nėra daug, o ir pastarieji labiau bendro pobūdžio, tik bendrais bruožais paliečiantys Lietuvos viešojo administravimo etikos infrastruktūrą ir jos pagrindinius elementus. Dėl to tiriamuoju objektu pasirikta Lietuvos viešojo administravimo etikos infrastruktūra, pagrindiniai jos makrolygmens elementai. Daroma prielaida, jog minėtosios etikos problemos ir etikos pažeidimai taip pat apspręsti ir šalies makrolygmens etikos infrastruktūros. Darbe siekiama nustatyti elementų atitikimą idealiam modeliui, idealaus modelio ir realios Lietuvos padėties santykį, pateikiant Lietuvos viešojo administravimo etikos infrastruktūros vaizdą. There are no many investigations into the ethics infrastructure of public administration in Lithuania and if there are any, they are of general character and touch upon the ethics infrastructure of public administration in Lithuania and its basic elements only in general outline. This is the reason why the ethics infrastructure of public administration in Lithuania and the basic elements of its macro level have been chosen as a subject of research.
