SKÁLOVÁ, Věra January 2014 (has links)
The subject of the thesis called "Analysis of utilization of the European Union funds and suggestion of financial instruments for the selected region (the statutory city of České Budějovice)" is to describe and assess the drawing on the funds, with a focus on defining the problems associated with the funding of grant projects of the city in relation to multisource financing and prefinancing. A further aim is to suggest financing instruments for future investment projects. In the theoretical overview there is background information about the European Union, the EU funds and an introduction to the financial system of the territorial authorities of the Czech Republic. The practical part involves an analysis of grant projects' financial resources, concentrating on the funds provided by the European Union. They are listed by individual years, together with the provider, and the amount of subsidies received. Využití Operačního programu Doprava pro rozvoj silniční infrastruktury v České republice na příkladu Středočeského kraje / The application of the Transport Operational Programme for the development of road infrastructure in the Czech Republic based on the example of the Central Bohemian Region

VACEK, Vladimír January 2012 (has links)
This present thesis deals with the Structural Funds set up by the European Union with special regard to reducing disparities among regions. Specifically, the thesis deals with the operational programme Transport, which is financially the most taxing with individual projects costing thousands of millions. The main aim is to make clear the problems of the Structural Funds in transport and their possible use. I have tried to deal with one chosen hypothesis of which I would like to mention at least one, namely has drawing on money from the Structural Funds contributed to the improvement of Czech roads. One question is whether using money is effective and whether we would be able to build more infrastructure using the total sum made available from the Structural Funds. Let us pose a question. Whether we would have been able to construct the D8 motorway if we had not been able to draw on the Structural Funds. Perhaps we would not have been able to build so many kilometres. Therefore we can assert that investing through the Structural Funds has contributed to the higher quality of Czech roads.

Mezinárodní dědické právo s důrazem na evropskou úpravu / International law of succession focusing on European regulation

Káplová, Eva January 2017 (has links)
International law of succession focusing on European regulation The aim of my thesis is the international Law of Succession with emphasis on the European Regulation No. 650/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and acceptance and enforcement of authentic instruments in matters of succession and on the creation of a European Certificate on Succession. The regulation of succession will apply to succession proceedings with an international element concerning those who died after 17 August 2015. The purpose of the regulation is to simplify and expedite such proceedings within the European Union. In principle, the ruling on the entire estate of the testator should be decided in the course of a single succession proceeding in order to avoid conflicts in court judgments that could occur if the procedure was split into different countries. Furthermore, the diploma thesis deals with the concept of border determinant in international law, where habitual residence becomes increasingly important, while other borderline determinants such as domicile or nationality already lose their importance. I also explain the term 'estate planning' in my paper, i.e. the arrangement of inheritance conditions of the future...

Frodlová, Ellen January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is focusing on corruption and misuse of financial funds from European Union. It primarily analyses Regional Operation Programme North-West (ROP Severozápad), which ended with massive corruption affair. The affair lead to the suspension of payments from the European Union, change of assignment of projects in the next programme period, but also opened the question of current trends in corruption in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the thesis was to identify the most dangerous spots that lead to misuse of European funds, connect the corruption affair with current corruption trends in the Czech Republic and suggest basic activities that could prevent the misuse of European subsidies in the future. The aim was achieved via analysis of the operation programme, that ran through the years 2007-2013. It was discovered, that the system was purpose-built so that the local politicians could manipulate with the order of winning projects and thus unfairly distribute the financial funds from the European Union.

Harudová, Jana January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the social policies of the European Union and with poverty. Social policies are divided into five social models, based on basic typologies. Individual social models are characterized separately and the claims are supported by appropriate economic indicators. The practical part builds on these theoretical foundations and examines the dependence of variables and social models. Based on the indicators of poverty, the social situation of the individual states of the European Union is defined. Dependencies were created using indicators of poverty and economic variables. A generalized linear model was designed to determine the dependence of the social situation in the EU based on selected factors.
