Dlouhodobá udržitelnost financování zdravotnictví v České republice / Long-term financial sustainability of health care system in Czech republic

1 Abstract The aim of diploma thesis is searching for solution of long-term sustainability for health care financing in Czech Republic with respect to future demographic development of Czech population and with respect to development of other factors influencing income and expenditure of health care system. After introduction there is the second chapter that describes evolution and current state of Czech health care system. The third chapter deals with historical progress of income and expenses on health care in Czech Republic and adds an international comparison. The chapter four identifies main motives for future change of Czech health system financing. The chapter five shows inspiring examples how health care financing works in Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany. The sixth chapter describes basic aspects, advantages and disadvantages of introducing nominal premium to Czech health insurance system. In chapter seven there is a summary of process of introducing nominal premium and results of model of future income from reformed health insurance for year of nominal premium introduction - 2015. The basic outcome of model is fact that nominal premium introduced in amount of 725 CZK per month per person can bring additional finance to health care system in amount of 31 505 bil. Title: How Do Social Enterprises Access Funding? RAPATAC In Gävle Level: Final assignment for Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Authors: Peiying Kuang and Zhonglv Song Supervisor: Dr. Maria Fregidou-Malama Examiner: Jonas Kågström  Date: 2013 May Aim: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence social enterprises to access funding. Method: This study has chosen a social enterprise as a single case study. We design the questions and collect the data based on five assessment factors from both the social enterprise and funders’ perspective. We use interview and questionnaires to investigate whether these five assessment factors influence funders’ decision.      Result and Conclusions: In our study, we found that five assessment factors could influence the funders’ decision. Social mission and the qualities of the leader are crucial factors influencing funding decisions. The performance of SE, financing sustainability and communication transparence influence social enterprise to maintain a long-term relationship with funders.  Suggestion for further studies: This investigation based on a single case study in Gavle, and we have collected data from a limited number of responders. Thus, we suggest using multiple case studies and collecting data from more responders. The further study should not be limited to one city. Contribution of the thesis: Our theoretical contribution is providing a model to complete theory. This model includes five factors which affecting funding of social enterprise. In managerial aspect, both current and potential social entrepreneurs can refer to these five assessment factors to improve their competence to attract funders. For the societal implication, this study shows the value and challenge of social enterprise to people and government, which enhance the public recognition of the social enterprise. Wandel in der Wissenschaftskommunikation - Open-Access-Tag an der TU Chemnitz 2015

Im Grußwort zum hochschulöffentlichen Open Access-Tag 2015 formulierte Herr Professor Heinrich Lang, Prorektor für Forschung und wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchs: "Open Access schafft Strukturen und Verfahren zur Bereitstellung von Forschungsergebnissen im Internet, die einen freien und langfristigen Zugang zu diesen Ressourcen gewährleisten. Im Zeitalter digitaler Wissensverbreitung ist Open Access damit ein Garant für die Wahrung der Publikations- und Informationsfreiheit, für deren Einklang und die Wissenschaften voranzutreiben." Am Vormittag des 02.11.2015 kamen Bibliothekare aus sieben sächsischen Hochschul- und Spezialbibliotheken zum 2. Workshop der Open Access Community Sachsen zusammen. Sie präsentierten und diskutierten Strategien und Dienstleistungen zur Unterstützung von Open-Access-Publikationen. In Sachsen wird es dazu eine intensive Zusammenarbeit geben. Danach trafen sich die Wissenschaftler/innen und Studierenden der TU Chemnitz im zentralen Hörsaalgebäude. Das Programm wurde vom Open-Access-Team der Universitätsbibliothek koordiniert und von der Bibliotheksdirektorin, Frau Angela Malz moderiert. Als Referenten konnten anerkannte Experten aus dem Urheberrecht, dem Verlagswesen und der Allianz der Wissenschaftsorganisationen sowie Wissenschaftler der TU Chemnitz gewonnen werden. Es ergab sich eine anregende Diskussion zu den Umwälzungen im wissenschaftlichen Publikationswesen aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln. Der jährliche Informations- und Aktionstag ist Ausdruck des Engagements der Universitätsbibliothek, Wissenschaftler/innen bei der Open Access Publikation zu unterstützen. / In his welcome speech of the Open Access Day 2015 at the Technische Universität Chemnitz Professor Dr. Heinrich Lang, Vice-Rector for Research and Promotion of Young Scientists, statet that „Open Access creates structures and procedures for the online provision of research results and thereby ensures the free and long-term access to those resources. In the era of the digital dissemination of knowledge, Open Access protects the freedom of publication as well as the freedom of information, whose unity is the basis of scientific advancement.“ The morning session on 2 November 2015 was dedicated to the second workshop of Saxony‘s Open Access Community in which librarians from seven university and specialised libraries got together to discuss strategies and services for the support of Open Access publications. To this end, there will be a close collaboration of Saxon libraries. For the afternoon session of the Open Access Day scientists and students of the Technische Universität Chemnitz gathered in the central lecture hall. The program was coordinated by the University Library and was moderated by the Head Librarian, Angela Malz. Lectures were delivered by experts on copyright law, renowned representatives from the publishing industry and the alliance of scientific organisations in Germany, as well as highly respected scientists of the Technische Universität Chemnitz. Their various perspectives on the transformation processes in academic publishing initiated lively discussions with the audience. This annual day of information and action reflects the dedication of the University Library Chemnitz to support scientists and scholars in publishing Open Access.
